I think the plan, if there is indeed a plan, lacks what is customarily called "oversight". Sure they spent $7.5 billion so who can tell us what amount of money each State received and what they did with it? The folks handing out the cash at the Federal level have accountability for monitoring and measuring the implementation of the State efforts. And although the program is executed at the State level it doesn't give the Federal government an excuse to throw up their hands and say its out of our control. Its not.

They were booing and cheering. So they don't agree on everything? The Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver sounds like somebody progressives would prefer to Biden.

Running on addressing income inequality won't be in the cards for Biden. He's out telling everybody the system is set up to screw them. Blacks, Hispanics, the poor, the working person, everybody. You all have no chance at success. But hey Joe, you are the system!

The way these politicians throw $100k's of what we must assume is taxpayer money around like there's no tomorrow gives you an insight into why they take threats to their racket very seriously. The corruption is mind-boggling.

Technology and innovation are taking the future in a very different direction. Automation has replaced many low value tasks and AI has the potential to replace and leverage many skilled tasks too. Bigger populations is not better. This belief assume resources are infinite. They are not. All that approach guarantees is the consumption of more and greater levels resources which are finite and many subject to depletion. The key to a thriving ecomomy is productivity at higher levels of output. Mass import of more unskilled workers is not the path to prosperity. You want to import millions of engineers and scientists and skilled craftsman like electricians? Let's do that. What you endorse is bringing in more people that consume way more than they produce. It's like running a business where you sell a dollar for fifty cents. Or our current less productive economy where we incur about 3 1/2 dollars of debt to produce 1 dollar of "growth". That's not productive, efficient, or desirable.

That's the excuse and a myth used to enact a lot of bad policy decisions. It hurts American workers. There is no shortage of unskilled labor available in America that can't fill job openings. Companies want to hire illegals so they can pay them less than minimum wage and in many cases pay them "under-the-table" while avoiding payroll taxes and other costs like healthcare which then puts the burden on Medicaid and other taxpayer provided assistance. Add in the cost of other social assistance programs used by immigrants at a higher rate than citizens. In the process a surplus of workers suppresses wages and benefits for the working poor. Its certainly not a win-win for American workers or the taxpayer. And companies needing skilled labor can sponsor employees through legal means through visa programs or do what many companies do is set up offshore operations or outsource some segments of their operations to overseas vendors.

The problem is that it was a terrible idea to open up the border to anyone that wanted to cross, use loopholes and interpretations in asylum application process to facilitate it, and have no plan or funding in place to handle the influx of people in any controlled and organized manner.

I'm not willing to give Trump a pass here because there are some serious questions and issues regarding his handling and possession of these documents. And some clear and true answers are required. But the people in charge of this investigation at the FBI and prosecuting the case at the DOJ are ethically compromised, incompetent, and acting more in the interests of their political allies than they are in acting in the interests of the law. When I read agents brought "top secret" cover sheets and other documents to the premises and then used those items to cover other documents seized at the site for staged "top secret" pictures they released to the MSM, I was appalled at their lack of professionalism. This contaminated the crime scene and this is clearly improper. A fair and free court might invalidate the entire search base on what these idiots did here. And that may very well happen as motions to dismiss for misconduct are being filed with the court. Then everyone howling for the "rule of law" can learn a lesson that staging media photos and bringing outside evidence to a search to plant at the residence, much like planting a gun on a suspect shot by police under suspicious circumstance, isn't the right way to apply the law. I also understand the FBI was prepared to engage in a shoot out with the Secret Service if they presented any resistance to allowing the search. Who the Hell is in charge of this circus? Apparently everyone in charge of our legal and law enforcement institutions is insane.

I sure the answer will be they can't comment on an ongoing investigation.

I'm just curious and I can't find an answer to the question anywhere. How many millions of people do advocates of mass immigration into the US think is the proper level? 20 million, 30 million, 500 million? How many people should we welcome in and support? Should we welcome the entire world's population of 8 billion into the country? At what number of people do we reach "full capacity"?

The lesson here is propaganda doesn't work when people know you're lying. The story also has to have some believably. Add to it this Nazi narrative is old and stale. Better luck next time. Next they're going to tell us lower and middle income people are doing just wonderfully under Biden's inflate-a-nomics program and the problem is they just don't understand or perceive how great things are for them all. Oh wait, they've already done that too.

Its a race against time. As for now adding about a trillion to the national debt every quarter seems to be propping up things while fueling inflation. But as usual let's worry about the consequence later. Even with all this extra juice economic activity is slowing quickly. Consumers are tapped out from an income, savings, and debt perspective. My expectation is around the start of August the markets roll over and we get a crash of some magnitude. Then its the Fed to the rescue!

If Nazi's don't tell the truth than why would you believe Trump when he says he'll become a dictator? Your words are contradicting your belief. And let's get into the logic here. If its so easy to transform our representative democracy into a dictatorship through some sort of simple executive action then why didn't any past President wanting to cling to power do it? Why can't Joe Biden just make himself dictator and cancel the November election? Is he such a noble creature that he would never violate the law and constitution? I think his actions have demonstrated that is not the case. And all these ridiculous trials his handlers are putting Trump through demonstrate their zest to maintain power and control. The truth is Trump doesn't have the capacity to pull of that kind of stunt. He barely had enough understanding of the role of the President to run the country under his first term. And he was constantly undermined by people inside and outside his administration. He had no support in the civilian government or the military which would be necessary to pull of transforming the chief executive into a President for life supreme ruler. Upon attempting such a stunt he would be immediately impeached by members of Congress of both major parties. I know reality is hard to accept but all that's reality. All you're doing is participating in a fear campaign because your leader, Joe Biden, has a terrible record and his administration has screwed up every major initiative both domestic and foreign. Trump's second term wouldn't be anything to write home about either but its likely he'll screw up things less than Joe in a second term. What I think is our country needs to face the reality we're going to be in for some hard times and difficult choices. I don't think ignoring reality, such as is the case with Joe's crew and his supporters worried about trivial things like DEI and Pride flags, is the way to tackle the coming challenges. But I think it was Jung that said "people can't handle too much reality".

I'm not okay with it but there are no Nazi's. All I hear is the girls of the left shrieking and screaming about dictatorship but short on details of how the hell anybody is going to pull that off. If you're scared of Nazi's you might want to consider you're unwavering support for Nazi elements in the government of the country our President and Congress have graciously voted to send $60B in taxpayer money. An example is recent situations where German trainers had to send home soldiers wearing Nazi symbols on their uniforms which is a real no-no in Germany. But I assume you think they're "good" Nazi's so all is fine.
