  1. Does a group of police officers riding horses through a crowd and trampling a women in a jazzy meet the criteria for "mischief"? My suspicion is there is some sort of exemption or liability waiver clause for "official mischief".
  2. To help us understand why when the majority of American, Ukrainian, Russian, and Europeans in general don't want war and have no gripe with each other their leaders still pursue it.
  3. What makes me LMAO is how you continuously disparage Trump supporters while at the same time advocating for direct military intervention. Who do you think is going to be doing all the fighting? Race and Gender studies graduates and Social Justice advocates? Maybe academic and intellectual leftists? Or American Socialists? Get real. They don't have the make up or the guts to pull it off. Who do you think would be doing the actual fighting? Why that would be "the cult" members. Its the very people you despise that your zeal for warfare depends on doing the dirty work. How do you reconcile the desire for war with the reality that the people you associate with are gutless and would never consider joining the fighting or getting their hands dirty while putting their asses on the line? So knock off the we need to stop the next Hitler BS. Because what do you mean by 'we'?
  4. You mean that guy Trudeau? I agree. We should cross the border, arrest that dictator, and put him on trial for human rights violations.
  5. When you base your military strategy for fighting Russia on Rambo II and Rambo III you might want to consider another approach! The first thing to understand is their aim isn't as bad as the Hollywood version.
  6. If I'm deployed to the front lines here I'm not really comfortable with your plan. Drones can be easily shot down by conventional air defenses. S-400's for example. And drones are controlled and launched from somewhere. These locations will be viewed as legitimate military targets by the enemy along with any supporting infrastructure and assets. You should think this through further. And remember one critical element of warfare. When you shoot at the enemy they shoot back. While you can kill them they can also kill you. I wouldn't want to take the point on any patrols operating under your plan without having a pretty clear idea of the rules of engagement and what the plan is when the whole thing goes to Hell.
  7. You're contradicting yourself. Saying there is no black and white and then offering up a black and white choice. Sure we support democracy. That's not an issue. The issue is at what cost? Given your unwavering support that no cost is too great to support democracy are you willing to sacrifice your life and the lives of close friends and family in order to uphold that absolute and unqualified principle? Maybe where someone stands depends on what "skin" they have in the game. It's that simple.
  8. This might escalate quickly when they sink one of your carriers running sorties out of the Black Sea.
  9. This just in.. Later today, Trudeau will announce sanctions to freeze financial assets and accounts of himself and members of his tyrannical regime.
  10. So nobody should be criticizing the administration? Because you equate that criticism to support of Putin? That thinking is the missing grey area I was pointing out. Because I can be both critical of Biden and critical of Putin at the same time. Its not a binary choice.
  11. I think you're an idealist that can't see the grey areas between your black and white view of these conflicts.
  12. So now its "America right or wrong". That was a catchy slogan from the time of a past conflict. But now the same people expressing contempt and horror over the "nationalist" MAGA based themes of the previous administration, accusing them of being xenophobic Nazi's and other things, are embracing the idea that everyone toe the line without question and blindly pledge their unwavering support for the administration while also admonishing anyone that has the audacity to criticize the bumbling Biden administration then accuse them of supporting the enemy? Thar's quite a 180.
  13. Yes Putin is a bad man. But that doesn't change the reality that he just Beech slapped Biden and his bumbling administration. That version of the story is just not acceptable to the establishment and an expectation of even lower approval ratings and a distinct chance of a November rout in the mid-terms seems likely. So the big question is when does the consensus narrative shift away from discussing responses to the old stand by of blaming the Trump administration for failure to act during his term which left Biden in a precarious no-win situation? And thereby absolving Joe of any blame or accountability. Watch for clues during the rehearsed White House press conference Q&A session where Peppermint Patty receives the softball question planted in the media room with an answer that will signal to the media to initiate this story line. You can set your watch to this, guaranteed.
  14. People with the "wrong" views criticizing the government can expect a knock on the door from government thugs and accountants. With the determination of what the "wrong" views are at the discretion and whim of government officials. Note to Canadian truckers. There are good jobs openings in the States.
  15. From an investing type site called AdventuresInCaptialism.com where the writer boils it down to simple language from an economic perspective. "Biden tried to screw with Putin. Putin showed Biden that geopolitics is a game that only adults should play. Ball is now in Biden’s court after Putin snagged 2 provinces that absolutely no one else wanted. What can Biden do? Maybe he can issue some more sanctions? Maybe he goes and cries to the UN?? He’s not going to start a war over these provinces. Biden has been had. What happens when the sanctions hit?? Ask yourself, where do palladium, nickel, natural gas, oil, uranium, grain, fertilizer and a bunch of other goods we depend upon come from?? Yeah, the guys that Biden wants to sanction. What do you think sanctions do to inflation? There’s an election coming up in November and it already looks like Biden gets steamrolled. Does he want to make it even worse?? Literally no one in Europe wants any part of this train-wreck that Biden started. They all need Putin’s energy far more than they need our politics. As you can guess, these sanctions are going nowhere. We need these goods, and Europe needs the gas even worse. Inflation is already roaring. There is no Biden plan from here. He never had a plan."
  16. Cavuto revealed he had two immune compromising conditions, previously cancer and now MS.
  17. Nice try. Isolating pockets of resistance to the left's agenda and control which you blow up and magnify into some systemic threat. Illogical speculation and factually unsupported. But when has that ever stopped you from invoking Trump?
  18. So I think I hit the nail right on the head here!
  19. The reality is the modern American left has adopted the tactics and methods of historical fascist regimes while deluding themselves into believing they're cause is justified by the pursuit of social good. Demonizing and persecuting their political opposition and causing harm to them as they accuse their victims of using the very same tactics they employ. Nefarious practices employed by the left for "good". Same as Hitler, right? Purging the unfit, making a better society for the Reich. In this case of current day, making America better by purging the ideological unfit. Now you may object to that description and comparison and accuse those on the right of such behavior but that argument is empty. Because the left controls almost every institution and organization of society so its hard to reconcile their world view as victims when they are the establishment with almost total control over society. The left controls the government, the media, corporations, everything. What does the right control? Mostly legions of powerless individuals assembling into citizen groups that are demonized by the left.
  20. If I remember correctly, wasn't Crimea annexed under Obama's watch? What excuse do you have consistent with your standing up to bullies theory? I responded appropriately to your dumb question with a comparable answer.
  21. I wish you hadn't reminded me of that. I had completely repressed that memory. Now its back to counseling! LOL Thx. I'll check that out.
  22. So you think we should without giving it any thought fight all wars regardless of consequences or costs?
  23. When I do a search for "Canadian politicians homes attacked" I don't find anything other than some items in the past. Do you have any links to recent reports? Thx..
  24. Avoiding new foreign wars is not isolationism.
  25. Both China and Russia are problems for the US establishment but its one thing at a time here. After sleeping on it overnight I've concluded the Biden administration achieved through this situation, while not the best-case full Russian attack scenario, exactly what they were looking for in Ukraine. Anyone suggesting they were "tying to stop a war" isn't paying attention to the big picture. The objective was to provoke a military response from Russia. Stopping a war, resulting in peace and some negotiated settlement would have allowed Russian plans for economic integration with Europe to continue uninterrupted. And whether it's 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, or even 10 years sooner or later American interests would find themselves excluded from the head table for setting European policy. It seems pretty clear certain countries, Germany and France in particular, want the US out of their backyard. But after yesterday taking that stance and advocating for integration and cooperation with Russia might be politically dangerous. At least for a while until this all blows over. And now Putin's plans are on pause and its not clear exactly where things go from here with sanctions and other possible consequences. That's priority one for the US establishment, keep control of European policy. Priority number 2, contain Russian interests. Good here on both counts. For most intents and purposes these provinces were already under Russian control and recognizing their independence (did they even declare their independence or did I miss that?) is just a formality. But all the support and weaponry supplied by the US served its purpose. It emboldened anti-Russian elements inside Ukraine to use those weapons to disrupt the balance of power that kept relative peace in the region. With these new resources it would have been a matter of time before the two provinces were brought under the control of Kiev. So Putin was forced into the choice of losing control of these regions or directly intervening. So he pulled the trigger on the independence recognition ploy which he'll argue provides pretext for sending forces into Eastern Ukraine. To keep people "safe". Expect lots of rhetoric out of Kiev but not much military action over time. I'm sure they're completely cognizant they traded these two republics for US support and assistance. How sanctions hurt US consumers is unclear but they will hurt Europeans more. US financial markets while down don't appear too concerned by looking at the futures action. Down but not down dramatically, gold up over night but giving up those gains and into the red by about 10 bucks. Oil is the market reacting badly with crude prices up around $3.40 as I write.
