Trump is now campaigning for Harris
All_Pro_Bills replied to 4th&long's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Detroit is a mess as the domestic auto industry losses market share and many domestic vehicle assembly and parts factories close. Trump's telling the truth and facing the truth is one of the first steps to solving any problem. No lies here. What should he do? Act like liberals that blow smoke up your ass while picking your pockets for money to buy the votes of all the slackers that support them? -
How much did you pay for gas and groceries today?

Your hoax label is one of the biggest contrary indicators on this board. I believe that I quite fairly and accurately articulated the position of the political left. -
Liberals will reflexively resort to attack mode because they won't engage in any open and honest discussion because their position that biological /boys men participating in girls/women sports does not disadvantage biological women is indefensible. Based observation of reality from actual competitive performance proves them clearly incorrect. Add in physiological and athletic performance based science and the evidence is irrefutable. Still they cling to their dysfunctional ideology because being right or wrong isn't important. Sticking with their dogma is all that matters.

Its true they edited the interview footage to make her look good. We can speculate on their motive but one likely explanation is they want to help her win.

CBS has come under fire for deceptively editing Kamala Harris' "60 Minutes" interview - replacing her Nobody except the liberal controlled media propaganda machine and you are claiming Harris has nailed her interviews with clearly articulated answers and substance. She sucks so bad at the use of the English language that hundred of shills have to lay down cover fire for what can only be described as incoherent babble. Maybe she's always drunk or hungover?

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams

It looks like Cooper's contract might be voidable after 2024. I'm not clear on all the cap implications there but that might provide more flexibility on any decisions with Amari beyond this season and with available money to spend on 2025 free agency. -
They try so, so hard to make Kamala look bright and competent, smiling and laughing it up while performing these scripted and rehearsed made-for-TV dramas but they're not fooling anyone that hasn't already been fooled. Nothing she does is genuine or spontaneous and it's obvious. After watching a few of these I've come away with the conclusion that I know nothing more about her views after the "interview" than I did before it.

There's an Amtrak line which I believe originates in Miami that runs up the East Coast but I expect marshaling up enough passenger capacity in the time required to make a big difference is beyond the capability of the railroad in both physical cars and ability to execute.

Why would anyone that gets consistently ambushed by these folks want to interview with them? You know the game they play, they're out to get you, and there's just no upside for Trump's campaign. You might as well request an interview with the DNC national committee. Who knows, they might be fairer than the media? And sure its good for Harris because the hide away until the election is over strategy has been exposed. These media people are an extension of her campaign team and more than likely contributed to her campaign. They lob softball questions, allow her to provide evasive answers, and never follow up to ask for details or clarifications. No fact checking, no tough questions, no saying much of anything beyond a talking point or two.

As a matter of practice most political ads take liberties with the truth. I assume the rules governing political ads differ from say, the truth and accuracy requirements for sellers making a claim about the virtues of their product. Domestic political propaganda during an election cycle has always been with us. I expect the Florida DoH has no standing to bring criminal charges against the TV station as those powers typically belong to the Department of Justice equivalent in the State. Nor do they regulate broadcasters. But lies are lies except when told in politics where its just a standard business practice. The candidate's ads tell us how great they are because they'll protect the interests of citizens, the opposition tells us they're in league with Satan. Typically, neither is true. My approach, to avoid hearing and seeing consistent lies, mute the volume or turn off the TV when these ads appear.

I do hope you're right and I shared a similar view until the final 2 minutes of the game on Sunday. Going to the playoffs consistently has been fantastic but you only get so many shots at the prize and you need to take advantage when the opportunity presents itself. Because its not going to last forever. And some of those Bills coaches you mentioned had pretty good rosters with the exception of one critical position. They didn't have the one thing McDermott has and that's a legitimate top 5 in the league franchise QB named Josh Allen. Most of those coaches in the league that fans gripe about also do not have a Josh Allen type. If they did, they would have winning records and would be challenging for division titles and playoff berths on a consistent basis. If you take away Allen and insert a QB from those coaching stints of those former Bills HC's, I'd argue their records and Sean's would be more or less the same. And we don't have a playoff run going and he's probably fired a couple seasons ago. Figure Sean is halfway thru Allen's career and so far not much to show for it. How many more seasons and years of their life do fans want to waste on the Sean McDermott project praying for a result that probably will never come? I have very little confidence left at this point given what we've seen that he's ever going to lead this team to a Super Bowl victory. -
When I heard the Jets fired their HC today it was the first time in my life that I've ever been envious of Jets fans.

I'm wondering if Joe, in saying this and some other previous statements, is passively working to torpedo Kamala's campaign and strategy in order to extract revenge on the party for throwing him overboard. DeSantis more or less said he's talked to Biden and Joe has been open to provide anything he needs. And as far as talking to Harris, to paraphrase, the governor said why should I talk with her? She can't do anything to help and in all the previous storms he never heard from her once so now that she's running for the presidency the only reason she wants to talk is to assist her fake campaign designed to make her look competent. She could care less about anyone here.

Its funny because that's the kind of crap liberals say with a straight face. "Words are violence". As they all nod in agreement from their "safe spaces". Whatever those are. When I hear one of the clowns say something like this I immediately conclude they've never been in an actual fight or physical confrontation. After you've been punched in the face a couple times you learn a life lesson. Words don't actually hurt and the only people that believe that are emotionally or mentally weak or damaged people that spend half their income on counseling. That's what's funny.

Humor can be violence and put people in danger. 😂 That itself is comical but the idiots soak up that kind of crap. Why don't they just have the balls to say "I don't like what you're saying so I'm going to try to shut you up".

I don't think its evident. What is the evidence? Did Musk make any public statements to that affect? Or are you inferring? And why don't the other platforms, such as Facebook for example, want to make money from advertisements and hits rather than censor opinions or zany theories which would increase traffic? Rather they've cooperated and acted as proxies for government agencies applying pressure and other times working in cooperation to block anything that contradicts or criticizes their views and actions. That's a documented fact. As an observer I never bought into the advertising angle. I've been to a couple dozen news and sports sites this morning and I can't remember one ad on any page that came up. I guess that's why some of them use attractive women that have nothing to do with their product or service to get your attention. And even that doesn't work much.

The key question as always is who gets to decide what is acceptable and not acceptable?
-
I don't know. Its not my theory.

Nobody other than some fringe nutjobs actually believes any of this QAnon stuff. One popular view is that its an invention of the Intelligence Community designed to spread disinformation and marginalize otherwise sensible views by associated legitimate opinions with these outlandish "theories". The guilt by association ploy.

#2. They didn't change the entire coaching staff. They failed to replace the single most important person. The one responsible for a series of in-game gaffes and mistakes that have cost this team in critical situations against the better teams in the league where there is no margin of error for tolerating such blunders. This team looked totally unprepared for the Ravens game and played like it. Against the Texans the defense did their best but the offense looked like garbage most of the game. And when listening to post game excuses I keep hearing about communication and execution problems. Is there anyone here confident that Sean will have this team prepared for what we all know the Jets will do on offense and defense and ready to play their best on Monday night? Playing their best win or lose. That's really the expectation and I think that what most fans are looking for out of their team. I'm not expecting miracles such as the WR group is going to light it up or all the new players on defense playing because of injuries and departures are going to make the Pro Bowl. And there's nothing wrong with losing to a superior foe but when you constantly shoot yourself in the foot and blow a game in the most inconceivable way and look like a fool while doing it, its a different story. At this point either you know what you're doing or you don't And stop making stupid coaching mistakes or find another job someplace else. The longer they delay reaching the inevitable conclusion that we need to make a change at HQ, the longer they will fail to get a sniff at the Super Bowl. -
They can't accurately predict the strength of a storm a day or two out but we should with little inspection or debate trust their climate predictions 2 decades into the future?

I saw it wrong. The $3.2B is for non-catastrophic funding. The total requested for FY2025 disaster relief is $23.7B. https://www.fema.gov/sites/default/files/documents/fema_disaster-relief-fund-funding-requirements_fy25.pdf#:~:text=In estimating funding for major disasters, FEMA considers I don't see any references to border security or immigration here so the ask doesn't include those items.

Add in one other questions. Since FY 2025 starts October 1st my question is how did the agency spend their entire 2025 budget (10/1/24 thru 9/30/25) in 3 days? FYI, their 2025 budget is $3.2 billion.
