Are Republicans pro-terror?
All_Pro_Bills replied to SectionC3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
What the poll doesn't reveal is whether or not the respondents assign the source of the threat to democrats or republicans or the previous administration or the current administration or some other thing. -
The NY Times reports that anonymous sources tell them Trump will endorse the popular proposal to bring back the McRib sandwich on a permanent basis. Neo-liberal authoritarian groups are expected to immediately denounce the idea because they're against any idea not conceived of by the government. All ideas generated by free thinking private citizens, especially white heterosexual males, incite violence against marginalized groups.

Are Republicans pro-terror?
All_Pro_Bills replied to SectionC3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
When you see daily stories of shootings, car jackings, police chases, cars ploughing into pedestrians, robbery, random attacks, looting of stores, shoot outs where innocent victims are killed and wounded along with local prosecutors that refuse to hold or prosecute the perps but charge citizens choosing to defend themselves it sure looks like chaos. NY, LA, Minn, Chi, pick a place. Crime rates up 25, 30 percent and more YoY. People are fleeing, businesses are leaving or closing, working class communities suffer. But the dozens of reports of crime and violence on the local news I personally see on NYC Ch7 every day is all a hoax, right? I ran across this headline after posting. "Baltimore On Pace For Possible Record Murders As Local NAACP Asks Governor To Deploy National Guard." -
Tibs is a hard-core ideologist and has no sympathy for the young women I suspect almost everyone, including myself, had never heard of before being killed in a failed assimilation attempt on her father. But you can bet your last penny the outrage meter will be at 10 when the Russians figure out who was behind it and take retribution. That's how ideologues work. They believe their own propaganda, and everything is black and white. Everything is right or wrong and they happen to be right.

Reliable Sources: Brian Stelter Sacked at CNN
All_Pro_Bills replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's nothing personal. Just a response to low ratings and new management focused more on revenue and profit rather than a specific political ideology. -
Not anymore. After 8 years of war in the East, they're all dead, or wounded, or prisoners of war. But the Ukrainian Nazi movement, its history of WW2 collaboration with Hitler's SS, and current day presence, is an interesting topic. Something people that claim American white supremists lurking behind every bush and tree is the greatest domestic terror threat would like to ignore. If you want to experience real terror, I suggest riding the NYC subway system.

The Deep State War Heats Up
All_Pro_Bills replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If memory serves me correctly, it was way back in 2016 that Democrats didn't trust elections. And then spent 4 years obstructing and sabotaging the administration. Along with creating all sorts of imaginary collusion stories and relationships. Most of which were investigated with great zest only to yield nothing. Perhaps Liam's memory is just not so good? Maybe the moral here is if you punch somebody in the face don't cry that they punch you back. -
Russia Was Not a Democratic Hoax
All_Pro_Bills replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
All documents related to the Russia collusion story should be declassified and released. Not just one memo. We should know the facts and the truth. Nothing should be hidden. If anyone broke the law here in any respect, they should be prosecuted. No exceptions. But what I conclude is that the government has no interest in transparency or providing the public with all the facts. if DOJ and the Intelligence Community thought any or all of the documents and communications related to the Russia collusion story could implicate Trump, they would have released them already. To the contrary to seeking transparency and disclosure, the FBI conducted a raid authorized by Garland targeting the retrieval of any Russia election collusion story documents because they feared they'd be released to the public. And possibly used by Trump's legal team in his lawsuit against Hillary on charges of manufacturing the story. I expect they'll continue to hide behind the usual national security and method and procedures excuses for withholding the truth from the people they're supposed to serve. Regardless of the outcome, we should all agree, the government should release everything so once and for all we can all know the truth. And in the specific memo above, I say release it. -
Sure they're out to get Trump. He's an outsider that seeks to put the needs of America the country above the needs of the establishment and their global empire which has a different set of objectives than a nation state republic. Unfortunately, you're attempting to discuss and debate the virtues of democracy and the actions of the establishment with a lot of posters that believe a grand conspiracy exists to install Orange Hitler as supreme ruler of the United States. Assisted by hordes of zealots and cult members intent on raising their "leader" to dictator while obeying and carrying out every command he secretly issues to incite violence and oppress and harass anyone that dares to resist this crusade and its objective. To stop at nothing to destroy democracy. But its all an illusion. Created by people in power that wish to remain in power that can only remain in power though the use of deception and propaganda. People that are scared to death of the coming mid-terms.

Liz Cheney Political Career Post Mortem
All_Pro_Bills replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
At least she walked about with a higher net worth. All the chumps here licking the boots of every government official and authoritarian directive should be happy. An extra $37 Million in 6 years of patriotic service in support of "democracy". Sweet hustle and con, right? That tells me we're all in the wrong line of work. -
Global warming err Climate change HOAX
All_Pro_Bills replied to Very wide right's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You should read "The Long Emergency". Its about the coming end of the oil age and the resulting social, political, and economic implications. Not to spoil the story but the author reached similar conclusion as you. Until civilization develops and identifies a more efficient and productive source of energy, nuclear power is the best option to bridge the gap in time until that happens. But since Chernobyl in 1986 and Fukushima in 2011 nuclear power plants have been under scrutiny. Many of the reasons well justified. And spent fuel rod processing and disposal is always a problem. But as a society we've let 30+ years pass without addressing this potential solution. And counter to this approach, countries like Germany have taken steps to decommission their nuclear power plants and putting their fate in the hands of renewables like solar and wind. Designing, permitting, constructing, and commissioning nuclear power plants is a decade, plus, long effort. Likely longer given current regulatory and social obstacles. Another issue is the US has little to no current Uranium production. If we started now this solution might be able to be deployed around 2040 or 45. I don't see this happening. It would require a massive investment and a quantum shift in policy away from renewables and deploying most of that committed capital and effort to nuclear. It would be a politically unpopular proposal given the current administration. Unfortunately, none of this is likely until 2024 at the earliest, and people generally need to experience an emergency or a disaster before they get moving on something. So expect that first. -
Are Republicans pro-terror?
All_Pro_Bills replied to SectionC3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think you're on to something here. Maybe not the way you think or I approached it before. This might be the core reason for Trump Derangement Syndrome? The left doesn't hate Trump because of his policies, positions, or what he says or doesn't say. They hate him because he beats them at their own game. He out-victims the victims. He never says those two words they demand to hear from any sinner. Which is "I'm sorry"or "I apologize". The fact they can't play their Jedi mind trick victim game against him because he's better at it than they are just enrages the cult. It throws their already irrational mind to higher levels of irrationality and anger. I mean, look at the victim chart. For the left its absolutely impossible for a white heterosexual male to be a victim, ever. It drives them bonkers that he gets away with it. It's that simple! -

Because woke ideology has transformed the practice of playing the victim into an art form. And there is no entry on the victim hierarchy chart under the victim column for "right wing". If these people get threatened and harassed or attacked violently, well as an official oppressor they deserve it. That's how it works. Anyone raises any criticism against a leftist and they happen to fall into the oppressor column then they're a terrorist. And a bigot. And threatening violence. Against a perpetual victim, no matter what they do or don't do. Those are the rules. -

Just as Catholics can absolve themselves of sins through the practice of confession conservatives can absolve themselves from transgressions as defined by the neo-liberal cult ideology by condemning and rejecting Trump. But like confession, the forgiveness is temporary as both processes require repeated episodes of absolution. -
I missed out on all of this growing up. Unlike Joe, my father didn't approve of drugs and hookers. He would likely suggest if you've got a "void" sign up for Marine Corp for a couple years and that will straighten you out real quick.

Liz Cheney Political Career Post Mortem
All_Pro_Bills replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I could raise the same challenge to every poster here. But based on what. And to what end? How does anyone know anything? Through some verifiable source that contradicts something they said? Through vast personal or professional knowledge of some subject? Or simply through the idea that one poster disagrees with what another poster states? We're mostly here to express our views and opinions. And exchange them with other posters that might agree or disagree with our views. We're not here to exchange facts and figures vetted by sanctioned or official sources that claim to know everything. They don't know everything. And in my opinion there aren't a lot of critical thinkers among them. If they were critical and logical thinkers they wouldn't be working as fact checker drones. They might be producing clear and articulate ideas of their own mind. Given that isn't happening most sanctioned and official sources are also opinions. And the official story somebody tells them to follow. So if you don't like my opinion that's fine and good. But that doesn't mean my opinions and conclusions are wrong. Or that your are wrong. It just means you disagree. And if you provide no counter argument there's no opportunity to entertain other viewpoints. -

Liz also said to NBC: "I have said since Jan. 6 that I will do whatever it takes to ensure Donald Trump is never again anywhere near the Oval Office and I mean it". So in a real moment of honesty she admitted the true purpose of the 1/6 Committee. She said it loud and clear. It's not to investigate the events and actions that took place on that day at the Capitol. Its to "get" Trump. The thing is, criminal investigators investigate crimes. They don't investigate people. But Liz just admitted 1/6 is just that. An investigation of a specific person in search of a crime for the purpose of destroying one person's political career. And they wonder why Congress has an approval rating of 17%. Are you saying supporting Trump is a crime? -

Liz Cheney Political Career Post Mortem
All_Pro_Bills replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Liz's positions are predicated on personal interests. Nothing more complicated than her family are members of the uni-party establishment that rules Washington. This establishment includes elected officials, appointments, lifetime bureaucrats in defense and intelligence, state, and other agencies along with various well funded think tanks, endowments, lobbyist, and rich beneficiaries of the system. If you devote some time to research and examine the inter-personal relationships among and between this political class it will produce some mind-altering revelations and change the way you view and think about things. Is all akin to a royal court setting from old European days of Kings and Queens. If you're a commoner like me you're on the outside looking in. There three things they want from you, 1) your obedience to their rule, 2) your income to fund their existence, 3) your sons and daughters to fight and die in the for-profit wars they wage. Its all something the chumps that carry water for the government here don't or won't comprehend. To think that one party or the other has your interests in mind is an illusion. -
Convicted felon Donald Trump's follies
All_Pro_Bills replied to BillStime's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Liz will be just fine. A month or so after her term expires she'll be appointed to the board of directors of some defense contractor or neocon think tank while she bides her time until she resurfaces for the next election cycle. -
You're a liar but you'll make an excellent propagandist for the Empire. Exactly how many people have Trump's followers killed? So yeah sure, how many? How many people have US government interventions along with direct and indirect support for foreign wars killed? Iraq, Somalia, Syria, Libya, Yemen to name several. How many millions have suffered and been displaced from the homes?
