  1. Right now we've got a fake President. Biden was duly elected but clearly cannot carry out the duties of the office because he is mentally compromised. To begin with, he should be required to take a mental competency test administered by an independent and qualified physician overseen by the proper officials. We can't depend on the cabinet of the executive branch to do anything. These duties are empowered to the chief executive by Article II of the US Constitution. if the President cannot carry out these duties they are then transferred to the VP. And the VP is promoted to the job of President. In this situation to Ms. Harris. Good or bad or like it or not that's the protocol. Right now there is a person or persons running the Presidency and the White House that were not elected. President Biden is no more than an actor reading a script and playing a role. If this arrangement doesn't meet the definition of a coup then what does? An unelected person or persons secretly assuming the duties of the President. The plot should be exposed and those participating should be arrested. The secret service guarding the President are aware of this sham. They should be arrested too. As should any member of the White House staff or any other government officials or employees with knowledge of the situation that say and do nothing to uphold the laws and Constitution. Members of the press flying cover should also be arrested. The American people must be told the truth. That all said, its a given it will continue until something blows up. Because these scum bags have no regard for the law or the consitution and lack any moral or ethical compass.
  2. Isn't Orban serving his 3rd consecutive term as the democratically elected PM of Hungary. And can Joe Walsh still play Rocky Mountain Way? Also, what do you call a political system of a country that elects somebody President who later proves to be clearly mentally incompetent and unable to perform the duties of office. And rather than replace the incapable President a cabal of insiders secretly rule from the shadows? Is that a democracy or an autocracy?
  3. Sarcasm is no longer a legal form of communication per the ministry of truth! And it is very hurtful form of verbal violence. But yes, every single person regardless of party affiliation or personal beliefs should embrace an opportunity to hear firsthand, without editing, or limit the complete testimony of the witness. Who could possibly be afraid of that? Given the witness will be testifying under oath, as emphasized by the news person on the national news broadcast I saw last night, getting the truth and nothing but the truth should be the number one priority of everyone. My guess is some member of "the committee", perhaps sleaze ball misinformation generator and leaker extraordinaire Adam Schiff, will cite some national security issues, real or imagined, that an open and public forum might endanger.
  4. So the IV Amendment? "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized". Okay. I'd be curious how a lawyer would articulate a credible legal argument in front of the court to establish the amendment or right to privacy terms are applicable to abortion. Is the argument centered around the rules and regulations pertaining to medical privacy between doctor and patient? HIPAA for example? But even there, the fundamental principles behind medical privacy issues are one's of disclosure and confidentiality, who can access medical records and for what reasons, and not what is allowed or not allowed. So I wonder.
  5. I've read so much of this word garbage that I'd ask any of these idiots specifically which article or amendment to the constitution protects abortion rights? What's that "truth"? Ask that question and all you'll get is evasion, deflection, silence, and maybe some gratuitous personal attacks from idiots that have never even read the Constitution. But they'll all experts purely through their virtue signaling and pissy fits when they don't get their way. The decision is back at the people's legislature where it belongs. Get the votes, get something passed.
  6. The Devils in the details. But slogans and cute protest signs is all the simpletons can comprehend. Blame a failing educational system or lazy minds that don't want to think too hard about the details or engage in any type of critical thinking or questioning. Citizens that ask critical questions and are skeptical of positions or ideas held by "leadership" are threats to the system. You ask too many intelligent or probing questions or use your intellect to come up with some unique or different perspective they have no answers for, the Ministry of Truth puts your name on the domestic terrorist list. The last thing they want is a pandemic of critical thinking to break out.
  7. If the goal is weakening Russia through a proxy war in Ukraine, then mission accomplished to this point for the American Empire. But for American the country, not so much. That $7.3B is just a small part of the cost. What about the lives of Ukrainian civilians and soldiers that have been lost? What's the dollar value of that? Destruction of cities and towns. Refugees and people being displaced from their homes. While the dead can't speak, I expect the living would have a different perspective on money well spent. Beyond the political leadership and powerful oligarchs, the majority of Ukrainians facing this experience firsthand might disagree with your assessment of money well spent. What about the cost to Americans? If you buy Biden's alibi of Putin's inflation its costing US consumers about $2 a gallon more for gas which amounts to some $5.3 Billion a week. $21B a month. That doesn't even include the cost of diesel for the transportation industry, truck, rail, ship. The strategic petroleum reserve getting drained with no impact on prices. And costs at the grocery store. Cheerful monthly job numbers aside, rising weekly unemployment claim numbers, and surely layoffs to come soon, What about the rest of the world? Huge increases in food prices, food shortages, riots, destabilizing governments. Higher costs for fertilizers and agricultural. Disruptions to world trade and commerce. Europe on the brink of economic disaster. Germany about to get its gas supply shut off. If this thing drags on the prospects of millions freezing and starving to death this winter around the world. And on the other side. Russia receiving more than ever before for its oil and gas exports. With lots of countries around the world looking to ditch the US dollar after seeing assets seized and frozen upon decree. Just 1/4 of the world's countries supporting sanctions. Alternate trade and settlement systems being used to circumvent the use of the US dollar. Why is that important? Because the power and privilege provided by the US dollar reserve system is the fundamental and key to America's power.
  8. A problem is sanctions have created conditions for our "allies" in Europe that are far worse. Add in pushing a "green" agenda that is inappropriate for the immediate challenges of the present the sanctions have magnified and you've got a lot of disagreement. Although they're being fed the same "this is the price for democracy" line we are by Biden, my expectation is they crap out from bad political, social, and economic conditions before Russia. I think the fundamental problem faced by Western governments is the concerns and issues of the large majority of their citizens and those of their representatives in government are completely out of alignment. And governments are saying tough horse crap just deal with it and the people are saying FU to the government and becoming increasing uncooperative and are ready and willing to boot their asses out of office in the next election cycle.
  9. There's just so much different between then and now to make that comparison and expect similar results. Other than the Soviets being involved in a military quagmire in Afghanistan in the 1980's and in Ukraine today. What drove the Soviets out of business was oil prices falling to single digits. The break up had less to do with Reagan's tough talk and policies and everything to do with Alaska's North Slope and North Sea supply coming onto the market at just the right time to flood the market with oil which crashed prices and broke OPEC's grip on the oil market and drove Soviet oil revenue below a level that would support the regime. No money, the system went bust. Fast forward to today and there's no Alaska or North Sea (40 years of depletion have rendered these sources as marginal contributors) coming to the rescue and OPEC spare capacity is more on paper than in the ground. Right now the main beneficiary of Biden's sanctions is Putin with Europe being crushed by them.
  10. Perhaps what the person, whose identity is a secret, running the White House and the President's twitter account is referring to is the administration's "war" against reality? Like not understanding the retail gasoline market and the distribution network along with contracts and jobbers while telling gas stations to sell their product below cost. Now I know most of the people running the government never held a public sector job or ran a business but even for them it should be obvious this sell a dollar for fifty cents demand is a bad idea.
  11. I'm just curious. As I see a logical disconnect in the argument. If its the party of big business why do they need to legislate corporate behavior? Shouldn't they just be able to use their standing arrangement with big business, pick up the phone, talk to the CEO, and its done? And conversely, if that's what big business wants to do shouldn't they just obediently go along with it? I think your argument needs to account for the existence of the uni-party and a reality that we have a one-party system with some fringe issues taking up space to create a distraction and perception that there's some choice to make between the two. Like a 20 ton truck the system keeps rolling along wherever it please to go no matter who's in charge.
  12. I should have been clearer. I'm mostly referring to the endless list of rules and regulations issued by the administrative branch of government. The 4th branch of our government. The one that is granted no Constitutional rights or privileges but issues endless rules and regulations, restrictions and edicts all produced by an un-elected and unaccountable multitude of permanent and growing bureaucracies.
  13. I believe the core of the problem is a concentration of power. Big government. The government is too powerful. At the Federal, State, and in some situations such as large urban centers. And when one side or the other gains control of this power they attempt to use it to push around people that have different views and opinions. Take away governments funding and they have no money or ability to push around American citizens regardless of their views. Everybody minds their business and quarrels are private matters to be settled outside of the political arena.
  14. I think this reflects the lack of options. Personally, neither major party represents my views and interests to any great degree or to my satisfaction. If I could pick and choose from a list of positions and options on various subjects and issues from both parties it might create a third party that would align with my interests. One that I suspect would also represent the interests of independents and a large number of Democrats and Republicans that just are not on-board with the extremes of either. I expect some third party will emerge to represent just such a perspective. The seeds for that to happen are sown by the current level of chaos and conflict. And over time, as the current system of arrangements deteriorates, I think both political parties are doomed to minority status as their governance continues to become more and more ineffective and unpopular over time. It might take a couple decades or maybe just a couple years depending on how bad things get.
  15. I expect what you envision when you say liberals will fight is that they'll use the force and power of government agents, law enforcement, and the military to do the fighting for them.
  16. Agreed. My interpretation of SCOTUS rulings of late is they have almost nothing to do with the merits or legality of the specific issue or contention and everything to do with ruling against encroachments by the judicial and executive branches on the powers of the legislature granted in Article I of the US Constitution. Simply, not the rule but who has the authority under the system to make it.
  17. I agree but I also believe any government financial commitment requires an evaluation and change in current spending priorities to reallocate funds rather than some "blank check" program of increased borrowing and debt. Many seem to think that along with natural resources, financial resources are also infinite.
  18. Yes, thank God. Because we have a puppet with different masters. Biden dancing to the globalist and billionaire elite agenda spreading war and suffering across the planet with no regard for the welfare and interests of the American voters and citizens whom he told to shove it. So yeah, things are just peachy now that the evil one banished from Washington DC. As we pay double for everything. Things are so good I can't take any more!
  19. You know what I find funny and more than a tad ironic? Politicians across the political spectrum make all kinds of campaign promises saying they're going to do this and do that. They all claim God-like powers to do anything and everything. Cure the sick, save the poor, end all crime, educate every child, produce world peace and perpetual prosperity. And the whopper of them all, cut taxes and improve government services! I don't recall every seeing or hearing a political campaign ad and promise or debate where anyone said vote for me because I'm lying through my teeth, none of my proposed policies or programs will have any impact on your lives, I have no control over anything, and I will accept no accountability for any negative or adverse consequences during my term. But here's Joe saying just that.
  20. Biden has a big problem. Nobody believes that excuse. Just 11% of respondents in a recent poll believe his assertion that Putin is to blame. So when 89% of America disagrees with Biden's policy and his answer is tough sheet in what amounts to a government policy that completely ignores the interests of American voters and citizens what should we do? Suck it up and let the fool destroy what he hasn't destroyed yet? Or vote out his majority and neutralize the senile old fool for the remainder of his term? I say plan B.
  21. Yes, everybody that doesn't agree with you exists to fulfill their sole objective in life of destroying the republic. Congratulations on exposing this ever present menace. How wonderful for you! But maybe, just maybe, if you get your head out of your ass you might look around and see the reality that the people executing a real-time plan to destroy the republic are sitting in the White House and controlling Congress. Making up excuses and blaming everybody but themselves for all the problems. So far they're doing a fantastic job. The historically low job approval ratings they're receiving show it. You should be proud of the mess you're supporting that they've created in a record time of just one and a half years. Now we have a recession and with any luck and a little more effort they can turn it into a global depression.
  22. Or maybe they're part of the 2% of Americans believing the "all is well" narrative the administration is peddling?
  23. You're sounding paranoid here. I'm getting worried about you. You've gone from disputing some opinions on this topic to accusing several posters of supporting the overthrow of our government through violent means. That's quite a mental journey
  24. Can you just drop your political horse crap for 30 seconds? Nobody here is advocating a dictatorship. If you really believe that then perhaps you're not recognizing your own behavior and you're the person being radicalized? This violence is a systemic problem with society. We're creating a large number of angry and aimless young men with no goals or ambitions that take a hopeless view of life. Emotionally and mentally well-adjusted people don't commit these acts regardless of their political views.
