Some people choose to pass judgment based on the actor and not the act. Like a romantic partner might judge their lover's actions, Obama could do no wrong, so he gets a pass on everything regardless of the act while Trump can do nothing right, so he doesn't. I'd call it a lack of objectivity and I should add, emotion rather than logic and reasoning.

In short, an abuse of power where they investigate a targeted person, attempt to build a case, take "evidence" and assemble it in search of a crime rather than the traditional law enforcement practices and procedures of investigating a crime, gathering and analyzing evidence, looking for suspects and motive, and identifying the perpetrator.

Nuclear threat aside, do you think we're being sold an overblown mis-representation of the actual conventional threat the Russia miliary poses? Given their performance in Ukraine to date, I don't think anybody should lose any sleep over worrying about Russia invading western Europe for one. The image NATO and the Pentagon paint is the risk of something akin German blitzkrieg of 1930-1940 of Europe. Given observable actions, that appears to be a fantasy.

Ray Epps et al. and the FEDSURRECTION
All_Pro_Bills replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I suspect that a review of Mr. Epps' 2020 Personal Income tax filing 1040 to the IRS that shows a 2020 W2 addressed to Raymond Epps from the "FBI, PO Box 0109, Washington DC should confirm his involvement. But sadly, we'll never find out because we know the IRS and also Congress do not support the release income tax filings of American citizens because they value privacy and the law. -
I'm still trying to wrap my head around how the morons and simpletons can still believe a group of mostly over-50, out of shape, unorganized and unarmed yokels were going to take over the Capitol, declare their "leader" President, hold the building against assault and siege by heavily armed superior law enforcement and military personnel, force Congress to certify the election in their favor, and biggest of all, force the world's most powerful military fighting force into unconditional surrender while magically taking over all government facilities and organizations everywhere in the country to neutralize any opposition to their "insurrection" plan. Dismiss the idea a thinking person might expect, that such a coup would require actions in 100's of places simultaneously but the idea they were going to pull it off by occupying a single building shows the genius of this plan. I eagerly await the coming premiere of the movie. I'm thinking Meryl Streep as Liz Chaney sounds like a sure thing for best actress. The entire escapade, a fun filled drama of comedy and laughter for the whole family. The J6 Committee would like to extend a Merry Christmas to everyone but our friends at the Center for Diversity have reminded me the censors will not allow the use of the term Christmas. But in the spirit of saying to hell with the PC police, Merry Christmas Bills fans.

Sure, the FBI comments on open investigations. What do you call Comey's admitted leaks to buddies at the NY Times? And parading out in the media of photos of documents taken from Trump's residence? Garland's showboating news conference where he demanded nobody dare question their actions said they needed to act with urgency but left us hanging by never explaining why. They do indeed comment, when it suits their needs to among other things grease the wheels of public opinion.

The censorship angle aside, why did the FBI knowing the contents of the laptop represented genuine correspondence and files documenting the actions of an enterprise of the Biden family and friends, detailed evidence of potential illegal and unethical arrangements between the Biden family enterprise and foreign actors, just decide to sit on the evidence? Lock it up in the evidence locker and forget it. And still to this day have taken no serious investigate action or referred anything to DOJ? In the face of what is clearly a potential national security risk and perhaps a compromised commander-in-chief. How can anyone conclude otherwise then specific agents and official in the bureau are running an off-the-books protection operation for the President? And to boot a protection racket run under the nose of the previous administration and AG.

Next time you need to turn off the water or natgas at home ask yourself what is easier. Go to the basement or utility room and turn the value to the full closed position or go outside, find the line into the house, and blow up the pipe? Find me anyone that believes the Russians blew up their own pipeline and I'll show you an idiot that will believe anything. The US or some proxy blew it up to eliminate the ability of Germany to make any kind of independent energy deal. Like when Cortez burned the Spanish ships when reaching the New World, there will be no going back.

If nothing else I hope I've done you a service and if you pay a bit more attention to what's playing out in this game of global intrigue rather buying Washington's feel-good story it will help you minimize the personal impact of the the negative consequences all of us will experience as all of these initiatives reach critical mass.

Election Week Malfunctions, Anomalies etc...

More an allegation than a conspiracy but court testimony and hearing of evidence has started in AZ. -
Whether Ukraine is "winning" at the moment is a highly subjective assessment. And US funding of the war effort, which I feel is a excessive and could be allocated to more pressing and direct interests, isn't the biggest problem. I think the biggest problem is a lack of comprehending and acknowledging Russia's real strategic objectives, either by the administration, the media, or Americans in general. And while I claim no expert status, I believe the idea that Putin is on a mission of territorial conquest to reconstitute the Soviet Union or bring the whole of Ukraine under direct Russian control is to buy into a diversion and perhaps some cheer leading propaganda created by war proponents. Because the ultimate aim of Russia is to fracture continental alliances and drive American interests out of Europe. To that aim the war has been a rousing success for the Russians. All the politicians and the usual suspects are too busy falling into line waving the flag of "supporting democracy" and anyone that can see past their own nose and question or warn of other bigger threats is ostracized. Its the perfect set up for an epic fail of American influence. To combat this threat requires more than sending bombs and weapons to some insignificant stretch of land. At the moment, Europe and the EU are nothing short of a big dumpster fire and it will only get worse. As for driving a wedge between China and Russia to this point that goal a is big fail as they've never been closer if for nothing else but out of necessity. Add Iran to the fold, possibly India, and most of Asia, including it appears Afghanistan, through the Belt and Road initiative, Chinese moves in Africa and South America, recently signed economic and partnership agreements with OPEC and Gulf States with China. I could go on but its clear the idea is to squeeze the US out of the global influence game.

So basically the FBI and CIA were conducting an unauthorized intelligence operation, as part of a systemic misinformation campaign, against the American people. Specifically here to protect Biden. As it happened while Trump was in office, the alternative is to believe the administration of a sitting President would authorize a misinformation campaign intended to damage his candidacy and help his opponent suppress misdeeds and indiscretions. So who gave the order to the FBI and CIA directors to take these actions? Or did they take action without higher approval? And If it wasn't the President or any other authority inside the executive branch with the authority to issue this directive then it had to be somewhere else inside the government, a member of Congress perhaps, or somebody outside the government that has no authority under the system. In other words, sedition.

That's pretty good. But what you're describing is a caricature. Indulge me to produce one of my own. Of smug and conceited coastal dwelling liberals who look down on working people and anyone that questions the authority they provide and support. They believe what you describe is representative of the opposition. Hicks and yokels that exist for the purpose of producing the goods and services that they, the privileged, comfortable, and pampered intellectual class enjoy as they immerse themselves in their superiority. Leaving others to do the heavy lifting of keeping the lights on which frees them to explore frivolous activities like defining their preferred pronouns. But the thing is, from my read of things, neither view describes the views of most posters here. Most of us are closer to the middle on either side rather than along the edges. It might seem impossible at the moment, but don't be surprised that in the not to distant future you're going to realize you've been rooting for the villain all along rather than the hero in this real-life drama. And ironically, I suggest the liberal class cannot survive without the red-hat wearing yokels and hicks but the opposite is not true. Perhaps as the economy and social conditions deteriorate we'll find out.

I could be wrong but I believe this is the link to the original NY Post story and it does appear reporters have tagged their names to the story. So what's this chap Mehdi referring to here when he says they "wouldn't put their name on it"? https://nypost.com/2020/10/14/email-reveals-how-hunter-biden-introduced-ukrainian-biz-man-to-dad/

I wonder if Billsy actually has a full time job other posting on PPP? I mean, who has the time to be here 24/7? And respond to dozens of people constantly on every topic. -

If you kick a nonbinary person in the balls will it hurt? That is what's called a gender test. -
The political left is engaged in a battle against reality and truth. They're so neck deep in the mud that there's just no going back. But human nature being what it is, and being so invested in this fools errand, they cling to the program while doubling and tripling down here. Even in the face of facts and evidence that their narratives are based on fiction. Looking to bend light to justify their alternative explanations. Notice how the MSM addresses these revelations. Not with calls of misinformation. But rather they ignore them and hope it will all just go away. Sadly for them, it won't. Karma suggests their enemies seeking vengeance will show them the same level of mercy they've shown.

Most troubling is the fact America's premier law enforcement organization led by Comey and then Wray, is running a protection racket for a family "business" headed by the current President that exists for the purpose of extortion and bribery involving foreign actors which could be compromising national security and American interests. I don't see that role listed in the bureau's charter or mission statement. A media committed to the truth might want to examine personal and professional relationships between the people being protected and the people providing protection. Another question I have is other than playing the role of "Trojan Horse" for the establishment for a couple years what was Bill Barr doing over at DOJ? As all this was pulled off by the FBI during the previous administration. I suspect much will be revealed in 2023.

I've used that time to figure it out excuse for 10 years about marriage with my wife but for some reason it never works for me!
