You're dreaming here. There is no equivalent paramilitary group or militia existing today in the US that is consistent with the organization of the SS and SA at that time? Nor are the social and political conditions equivalent. Not even close. The insurrection idea is a figment of the imagination because there is absolutely no credible scenario anyone can create that would have a chance in Hell of succeeding.

Well, I would do number 2. But I need you to tell me how in the world anyone would allow that to hold? Would they all just say, "well that Trump guy outsmarted us this time and we'll just have to wait until 2024 to get another crack at getting him out of the White House". Truth is neither 1 or 2 would work.

The idiots that believe the insurrection story don't want to think about it too much. To overthrow the government, and hold onto power, you need the support of institutions like the military, federal, state, and local law enforcement and others. You need the means to enforce your action against resisters. You need to neutralize them which means arresting or killing them. That implies 10's of thousands of individuals in 100's of places, all prepared, and taking action simultaneously and in coordination. You need a pretty complex plan but there is less than zero evidence any such plan existed or was even discussed. Or that the "group" had the capacity to even carry such a complex plan out. Or even wanted to do that. But the believers of the insurrection story say just because the insurrection plan was bad doesn't mean they didn't try it.

Her story is probably fake because there is no political campaigning allowed within the designated area of a polling station. Its something that I've witnessed being enforced several times. For example, campaign signs are not allowed. Neither is encouraging voters to cast their ballot for one of another candidate. Political parties have representatives at the stations to watch for these types of activities and to enforce the rules. The clue to that is she said she's from California. If "MAGA" set up shop the DNC's rep would have observed the activity and ordered they be moved.

Diggs hurt (Torn ACL - out for the season)
All_Pro_Bills replied to fasteddie's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's interesting because I've thought of the Sabres as a developmental program for the NHL during the drought. Lots of players leaving or being traded and then winning the Cup or showing major improvements to their game elsewhere. -
George Lopez Hates Brown People

What's interesting about stand up is the jokes are funny because the comedian is more or less expressing ideas, stereotypes, or beliefs that the people in the audience hold or are completely aware of but they just don't typically say those things. And example of what everyone might know is, "what's the difference between in-laws and out-laws"? The answer is "out-laws are wanted" But you probably have to be married to get this one and now I've offended anyone that has a married child. For this I am sorry. -
Bezos OpEd: “Americans don’t trust the news media”
All_Pro_Bills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's similar to the confession from Zuckeberg on Facebook censorship. But my guess is these statements are motivated by self-interest hedging your bets on the outcome of the election acts and should not be interpreted as a pledge to assume a more objective posture. -
Khalil Mack trade - what would it take?
All_Pro_Bills replied to MiracleAtRich1393's topic in The Stadium Wall
It will never happen but Dexter Lawrence from our friends at the Giants, a team going nowhere fast, for a 1st and then doing some creative cap work would do the job. -

If I'm looking to beat the Chiefs I'm more interested in picking up a pocket clapsing, disruptor of a DT. Because the strength of KC's O Line is the center and 2 guard interior. Not the OTs. Who that guy might be, or if anyone like that is available i don't know. But I think we need that more than another edge type guy. -
The Hitler routine is a joke. A diversion. Its an oldie but a goodie for the left. Don't like somebody, call them Hitler and then hope it sticks to the wall along with making them try to explain why they're not Hitler which requires lots of time and effort. A couple things. First, Kamala can't run a winning campaign on the issues. She claims to be championing change but when asked what she'd change from the actions of the Biden administration her answer was nothing. So running on change but saying she'll change nothing. Second, it pisses the Democrats off that Trump can fill the 20K MSG right in the epicenter of liberal stronghold NYC. And they know if Kamala held a rally there, the DNC would need to either fly and bus in 1,000's of paid professional activists or start a rumor that Beyonce was going to give a free concert. Or maybe bring in Michelle to ladyspain to black men that if they don't vote for Kamala they're sexist misogynists. Apparently, they haven't learned that feminists telling men for years that they're toxic and they need to assume feminine attributes to become "better" people turns off the guys to the cause.

Rodgers is a problem but maybe just symptomatic of a team that has failed to find a franchise QB. Rodgers is headed for the HOF for his work with the Packers but unfortunately for the Jets, he's no leader and his performance shows he's not the answer under center. And yes, ownership is ultimately to blame. In this case giving some hired gun QB too much say on how things operate. Its got the head coach fired, installed a terrible interim group of coaches to new duties, and the Adams trade may prove to be a bust too.

Tracking Not Drafted by the Bills Players
All_Pro_Bills replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
If there are gripes about players the Bills didn't draft it would be players that got picked after their actual selection, not players picked before it. Otherwise its just a hypothetical argument based on the assumption there was some trading partner ready and willing to move back to allow the Bills to jump up to pick some player like Thomas and Beane decided not to pull the trigger on the move up. -
The Jets front office has done a great job of identifying snd collecting talent but the organization and the players have failed to build a team this season. Giving Rodgers, a HOF QB but an outsider, so much say on how the team is run was an obvious mistake. He disrupted the culture and undermined the coaching staff. Who will Aaron throw under the bus next?

Why are villians like Mao, Stalin, and Pol Pot getting a pass when it comes to comparisons to Trump? They killed a lot more people. Is it because they're not far right extremists, but rather commies? Do today's neo liberal nuts have a soft spot in their hearts from commie genocidal maniacs? After all, they are following the same playbook.

My take on suburbanization is that it was enabled by the advent of the automobile and is one of the greatest waste of resources, materials, energy, land, and water in the history of the human race. But the ability to spread out in low density subdivisions and have some space and privacy between you and your neighbors was the compelling reason for the migration. Urbanizing suburbia is counter to its entire purpose. I'd describe it as a living arrangement having attributes of both country and urban living but without the advantages of neither.

Psychological profiling assessment aside, that's not my point. And the democracy smokescreen won't fly here. Find all the excuses you want to avoid my point. Its not about the candidates. Its about the voters and the choice they face. Its a clear and unambiguous choice. If you want our country to be cowardly then vote for the coward.
-
Simply Trump isn't afraid to speak his mind (like what he has to say or not) to the media as demonstrated by his coming appearance on Rogan's show and Harris is a coward that hides from the press and the public, lets proxy celebrities and personalities do her talking, and is frightened by basic questions from interviewers and common citizens. And when challenged with a tough question produces babbling, incoherent, and dodging the question type answers. If you want a coward for your President than you can expect our country to take on the personality of a coward too. That's pretty much it.

The people losing it are the Democrats and their MSM allies. They're in desperation mode going "all in" on the whomever I don't like is comparable to Hitler tactic. I don't think its going to work too well. This act just smells old and stale. Most undecided voters are focused on issues that are important to them personally. Inflation, crime, the economy, real stuff, not made up fabrications and lies. What we have at this point is smear tactics and fake stories from a desperate candidate and her supporters that appears to be doing what they call in horse racing is "dying in the stretch". And the authoritarian tag coming from people that themselves exhibit authoritarian tendencies and actions is the height of hypocrisy. Why I remember a large plurality of liberals thought it appropriate during COVID to do things like forcefully placing people that don't get the shot in quarantine camps and tracking and monitoring the whereabouts of the unvaccinatged. And these are the people saying Trump is Hitler? Wake up idiots. Look at yourselves! I expect if Trump wins they'll all be putting on their Storm Trooper uniforms and boots while taking to the streets to riot. And fighting the certification of the election. Where have we heard that's a threat to Democracy before?
