Church Of England Debate Gender Of God
All_Pro_Bills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
All Mighty God, if you're monitoring this message board please hit the "reset" button on the human race because your experiment has failed as some sort of social madness and insanity has overcome the world you have created which leaves the human race capable of only focusing on things of a trivial nature while things of importance are left to die and whither. or if this is some "Matrix" type existence simulation, please, erase the program and start over. Thank you. -
Mention of Nixon brought back memories of a social and cultural parody of the times from this comedy and parody of the Watergate era by the late David Frye. It provides a good laugh for those familiar with it and might generate some thought on how liberalism has transformed from attacking and rejecting the establishment into today's embrace and support for it.

NY Times: The next Plandemic - H5N1 - Bird Flu
All_Pro_Bills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
These viruses generally appear in large flocks of birds or herds of animals that are raised for human food production in unsanitary and crowded conditions. So the virus acquiring the ability to inflect people and then transmit it from person to person might just be nature's way of getting rid of the source of the problem. -
The American Media Should Not Be Trusted
All_Pro_Bills replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
"Evidence based explanations". Who can argue with that? But only approved evidence supporting the explanation (excluding anything that doesn't) from approved sources disseminated to the public through approved media outlets. -
So do you believe the UK or US through their intelligence services have never killed or removed a non-compliant foreign leader? Like when the US executed a coup against Iranian democracy in 1953 because of the threat to nationalize oil interests of American and British corporations. And replaced it with the Shah of Iran, a brutal dictator. Or CIA support for the Chilean military to remove Allende in 1973. Same reason, corporate interests. I could go on and on here. What's amazing is how people of high intelligence with all this information at their disposal refuse to understand that our government, whichever party is in power, works for the Fortune 100.

Johnson delivered a message which scuttled a peace deal that had an agreement from both sides. Because certain western powers didn't want the war to end. So another 10 months of war and bloodshed so far. Exactly what threats or coercion Boris expressed in communicating the message demanding obedience, use your imagination.

All I can say is hindsight is 20/20 and we're critiquing people for a lack of action when they were not inclined to perceive or anticipate any action was necessary. I also think the preemptive strike to prevent the next Hitler from taking power theory is a risky speculative bet based on the operating assumption that you can predict with great precision and accuracy what the future holds. And that you can predict with certainty that you're action will prevent some catastrophic outcome in some future time and replace it with a good outcome. A future where there are potentially thousands and thousands of variables almost none of which you can control that might impact the outcome. Ultimately you can't know for certain if you're going to make things better, make them worse, or have no effect. What if you go back to 1928 and kill Hitler and that provides Stalin and the Soviets the opportunity to conquer the entire European continent?

Context. As you appear to be a history buff, you're well aware the world was in the throes of the Great Depression and the US was in no position, socially, economically, or militarily to involve the country in the affairs of other countries. Most Americans understanding the country faced with problems at home, saw no need or reason to intervene. They weren't isolationist but rather people with their own problems that took priority. Also, and most important, before WW2 the US spent about 1% of GDP on defense and ranked 17th in terms of military size. Facts are that America, for all its potential, wasn't a world military leader in the 1930's and people making this argument are projected current US power to act onto the 1930's era where it simply did not exist.

That's exactly what it is, or my word for it, a delusion. But addressing this question with people that express and demonstrate belief in gender self-identification will yield no answer. Because observable reality and facts have no place in their belief system. So either they suffer from mental impairment that obstructs their ability to understand reality or they honestly don't believe any of it and rather just do it to get along. My vote is they go along to get along. Imagine the treatment a biological female artist would get if she were to protest the award going to a man in a dress. Front page ostracizing by every media outlet in the country along with immediate ejection from the group and blackballing by the industry. All to support a social delusion and collective insanity nobody believes.

There are a lot of issues here. Like how many "spare" F-16's are just laying around? Will providing planes take away from operational readiness elsewhere? Where and what are the risks? What's the capacity to build new aircraft if necessary? Is there sufficient materials on hand or is there procurement? What about parts and maintenance costs and material? They can't wave a magic wand and poof, F-16's appear and with trained pilots out of thin air. There's a lot of details to work out, Maybe somebody has done that already? But I for sure can't say. And while I'm no authority on training fighter pilots but from what I can find it might take a minimum of 9 months to certify trained F-16 pilots. Maybe less in a crunch or with veteran pilots but most likely there's a significant amount of time between when planes might be provided and when they can become operational. And not even discussing training and staffing ground support and maintenance. So from today you might be looking at November to get squadrons airborne. I don't think its possible to predict what the situation on the ground will be then.

If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?
All_Pro_Bills replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didn't say they suck but after falling short a few times I believe some upgrades and changes are necessary to get the team in a position to take the big step to win it all. This requires bold actions. If they do more of the same I just don't see any path to another 13 win season next year or a division title with the Jets and Dolphins barking at their heels. And in a sport where 1% better is the difference between winning and losing scrutinizing the performance of the DC (and other things) in critical moments is something to consider. -

All_Pro_Bills replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe Frazier is a good coach but I can't say his scheme or leadership gets more out of the players than the sum of the parts and what teams does anything think would be jumping at the opportunity if Leslie ht the market? That would tell us all we need to know. While the defense has performed exceptionally great at times I believe that's more a reflection of games when the offense dictates the play to the opponent or the Bills have a clear talent advantage that can cover over some issues. Neither of those things happen consistently in the playoffs. Something fundamental needs to change, whether its a fresh perspective on evaluating draft talent, potential free agents, scheme or coaching, but if the teams stands pat with more of the same then I expect more of the same disappointment at the end of next season. -
Chinese spy balloon over Montana?
All_Pro_Bills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I await the WH announcement the balloon incident demonstrates the dangers of climate change and white supremacy. No secure borders, no secure airspace, no more America with these clowns. And it's only going to get worse. -

So if I'm following the story to this point, they've abandoned the Russian disinformation ruse and along with that expose something like 50 former IC members and every major news network and outlet as liars and accomplices in a cover up? And now the strategy is play the victim? -
Chinese spy balloon over Montana?

They don't need to as they're here already. The CCP maintains what have been called "secret police stations" around the world designed to keep tabs on expats and citizens abroad that might criticize or oppose the regime. One such outpost in NYC's Chinatown neighborhood was recently shut down by US authorities. -

All_Pro_Bills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Now it's over Missouri. Whatever the case it's a national embarrassment and this administration has demonstrated itself as completely impotent when it comes to dealing with China. These WH and Pentagon press conferences stating this is "unacceptable" are pathetic. Okay then, what are you going to do about it besides say it's unacceptable? Nothing. We're doomed. -
Chinese spy balloon over Montana?

Would I support defending Taiwan? Its a question I can't provide an unconditional yes or no answer to because the nature and implications of such a conflict are unknown. For example, would you support Taiwan if it meant some loved ones, friends, or family, or perhaps yourself would die as a result of an armed conflict? Given that, you might not be so enthusiastic. Everything is relative and conditional in life. I support the Ukrainian people and their right to life and freedom. But we're operating from a different set of assumptions and expectations. For starters, you see Russian as 100% responsible for the conflict and the US as the white knight riding to the rescue while I assign responsibility on a more equitable level. If you recall, the State department and CIA manufactured a coup of an elected President in 2014. I expect many years from now historians will share my assessment. -

This administration is a complete joke. Our airspace has been violated. Just shoot it down. Recover the wreckage and determine its purpose. https://babylonbee.com/news/biden-says-hell-shoot-down-chinese-spy-balloon-as-soon-as-hes-done-letting-it-spy -
PSA: This is Sean McDermott's defense, not Leslie Frazier's
All_Pro_Bills replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess neither of them sees any problem with how the defense under-performs its regular season stats in the playoffs or folds in critical situations in those games. The excuse is execution. Maybe so but its still not getting the job done. One of them has to acknowledge there's a problem which requires both the HC and DC to address. Leslie has to be fully aware these gaffes and underwhelming efforts are costing him any chance of becoming an NFL head coach again. So not installing some changes or tweaks to the scheme and play calling or the amount of input Leslie gets in personal and draft decisions makes no sense from that view. -
Scouts, Scheme, Evolution, free agency, and a Hands-Off Coach
All_Pro_Bills replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good assessment. And kudos for taking the time and effort to document your thoughts. My view, regardless of the area, is a lack of progression and innovation by the coaching staff and front office. Its like they put a "process" in place 4/5 years ago and have failed to adjust and tune it using experience, data, and learnings either good or bad. They simply repeat the same script every season which fails in the playoffs at more or less the same place and under similar circumstances. A failure to adopt to changing conditions given better information. All ways to say they never make any fundamental changes or adjustments. This dog just doesn't learn new tricks. .
