Just like those p*ssy's Montana, Elway, Aikman, Palmer, etc. I am getting tired of the Cali QB thing. Let's get something straight. More top tier athletic talent comes out of California than anywhere else in the world. More QB's have come out of California than anywhere else in the world. Not wanting a QB because he is from CA is just stupid.

I love how Maybin instead of Orakpo has turned ino Maybin instead of Mathews. In behavioral finance, we call that highendsight bias!

I am about 99% sure the reason the move was made was because Fitz is more moble and can avoid pressure better than Edwards or Brohm. I think Gailey knows that the whatever QB is back there will have to improvise because he will have a lot of pressure. I think he feels Fitz gives us the best chance. I would see what Fitz can do, but if we lose two or three more, time to go with Brohm and let him sink or swin. Either way, the Trent Edwards era officially ended today....To bad, I was really hoping he could turn it around and bring some respectability back to this franchise. I wish Edwards well, wherever he ends up next season.

The coaching is fine. Very few mental mistakes, a lot fewer penalties than last year from what I remember. I think Gailey has the guys ready to play. Unfortunatly, the guys he has are not very good. Give it time, Chan will be a good coach.

It's called being beaten into submission. Just like a puppy who has disobeyed. Another reason why the whole attitude of this organization needs to change. You would not see that stuff happen to a team that had a guy like Ray Lewis on it. That is what we need .....a leader or two. We are completly devoid of on the field leadership.

If you think Kelsay is a better linebaker than Poz, your on crack. Poz had 6 tackles and a sack in the first half last week before getting hurt. Now, if you said, he is more durable than Poz, I would conceed that.

I do not know if it is Evans who is not good enough to create opportunities for himslef, the offense that cannot get him the ball, or a combination of both. That being said, the answer is either. 1) Evans is overrated and we can trade him now for a decent draft pick next year or another area of need, because we are obviously rebuilding. 2) Evans is not being utilized properly and needs to go to a team where he can be successful, while allowing us a high draft pick so we can rebuild this team. Either way, I agree, he should be traded if we do not show something more in the next week or two.

I think it might be time to begin considering blowing this team up. Here is what I mean. Some of our veterans are not going to be here when this team can realistically compete in three or so years. It is looking like it may take that long to be competetive again. If we have another terrible showing next week here is who I would consider trading and stock up on as many draft picks and young talent as possible. 1) Lee Evans -resign Chad Jackson 2) Fred Jackson - promote Joquis Bell 3) Ryan Fitzpatrick - activate Brohm 4) Donte Whitner - start Wilson 5) Terrance McGee - start McKelvin 6) Chris Kelsay - start Maybin 7) Drayton Florence- start Corner 8) Marcus Stroud - start Troup and move Williams to DE It is not that I do not think highly of these guys, I just do not see them helping us long term if we are going to be a 1-15 to 3-13 team this year...and probably will not be competitive until we groom a new QB. We can lose 15 games with or without all of the guys above. If we are truly this bad now, we will not be competitve until at least 2012 or probably more like 2013, when a lot of these guys will be past their prime. I say give them another week or two to see if they can get better, if not, stockpile as many early picks as possible, let the kids play and get experience this year and let the rebuilding go into full force.

It's not Edwards fault that Johnson let one go right through his hands. It is also not his fault that the whole game imploded because of that play. That being said, he has not played well. Like I said, it is not solely his fault. At this point, I would put Brohm in to get him some work, down 3 to 7.
