OK so by your logic, anyone who has ever been defrauded in an investment or has expected sound judgement from the management or the board of directors so shareholders can recieve proper value for their investment, should just shut up and not worry about it? Or I suppose they could just not buy anymore stock in that company. You are 100% wrong. This team owes all of us. THEY DO NOT OWE US A SUPERBOWL, THEY OWE US SOUND MANAGEMENT. Also, had you read my original post, my being done with the bills is a conditional propsition, based on the idea that if they continue to be this dysfunctional franchise I will be done with them. This was not a cry for help it is a logic conclusion for years of poor performance and mismanagement. Also, as my proession I am the owner and founder of a wealth mangement group with over 100 million in liquid assets, insurance, real estate, and lending instruments. I have a very solid understanding of capital markets. Perhaps you should brush up though.

Yes lets banish any constructive criticism of anything regarding the Bills. Obviously anyone who truly cares about this team would never say anything negative about them. The message was not anti Bills. For those of you who think it was, perhaps you are deflecting, or perhaps you are a bit to sensitive. Let me be clear. I love the Bills, always have. But we need to be more responsible fans and hold the higher ups at OBD to more accountability. If we do not, than our worst fears will be 100% realized. They will leave if this franchise is not turned around. My response is get it together, or just go....But do not continue to string us all along and turn this franchise into more of a joke than it already is. The fact is we should look at our time and the money we spend on the Bills as an investment. the Bills should be held to a high standard. As a steward of that investment and they have failed to live up to that standard. If you are content with just going and seeing a medicore product from a medicore franchise and are unwilling to do anything about it (out of fear of them leaving), than I feel sorry for you, because you are not being a responsible steward of your own time and money....and that is your problem. But don't get pissed at me for asking for some accountablility form this franchise, they owe me and everyone else who cares about this team that.

I think if things continue the way they are going, than the team will move anyway. The current foundation of this team is not sustainable in WNY. If we do not start to win, bring in quality players, etc. You can say hello to the Toronto Bills. I would go for Billick.

Exactly. All of us fans have to understand that this game is a business. It is nothing more than a business to the people who provide it to you. And If we don't become smart investors of the Bills, then we will get what we deserve....which is a sh*tty product every year. We all can and do love this team, but we need to be more responsible fans, not blind ones.

My built up anger is directed at the fact the the team seems just fine with being second rate. The fact that Cowher does not want to coach here and Shannahan did not want to come here should speak volumes about how badly this team is perceived. Think about it. How bad does a job have to be if you can't give someone enough money to take it. "Name your price Bill....you want ownership of the team, you got it" Bill "No thanks" That is bad;. Really, really bad. Personally, I think Frazier might be a good coach, the same for the rest of the coordinators. They may do a better job than Cowher would. I am certainly no expert on NFL coaches. But what I do know is that a coordinator will absolutely not command the respect of free agents and the front office like a superbowl winning head coach would. Ther is no way that a person who has not been there and done it before, can. It is impossible. My top choice for HC if Cowher doesn't want it would be Billick. As I said, maybe he would not be as good as some of the others, maybe he would be better. But I do know he would bring some legitimacy to the organization. And that is what we really need right now. We need that more than we need a winning season or a playoff appearance.

The issue is not revenue. The issue is even when we try to overpay for players and coaches...They still don't want to come to Buffalo. Why? Because the franchise has no direction and no real leadership. That is the big problem. As I said, I can deal with losing. I have a real problem with a team that refuses to take steps to give back to their fans.

How about the fact that they would not pay for quality offensive linemen or linebackers which caused guys to play out of position. Do you really think it is dumb luck that we have so many injured players every year. They get hurt because they are ill preparred and are put in bad istuations by the team.

Disco: Wow good post. Let me be clear. I do not want the Bills to leave, and I do not want to stop being a fan. As I have said before I will never stop being a fan. But we need to demand more from this team and organization. I am a realist. When I see something that is wrong I try and deal with it. If we just blindly follow and breed medicority...That is exactly what we will get. The fact is if the Bills front office continues to faulter, they will end up somewhere else, probably Toronto. If we do not call them on their dysfunction, than all we are doing is enabling them. We are part of the problem. I equate it to having a sibling who is on Drugs. If you stop letting them load up in your home do you love them any less?

I appreciate your response. First. Regarding my father. I get up at 4 am every Sunday and drive 3 hours to go and see him and my mother, I leave there around 7 pm and drive 3 hours back every night so I can start work the next day. Usually the time we spend is watching Bills games. I don't consider one second I spend with him a waste of time. But I do think the Bills owe him some happiness for a lifetime of service. Secondly, I guess I can apologize for not being born 30 years ealier, but I can say I have my scars too. Maybe not as seasoned, but I think 22 years is long enough to be considered a grizzled vet. I have put my time in. Third. I think it is awesome you have worn Bills gear in 35 countries and thank you for your service as an intelligence officer. Forth. The media does like making Buffalo a joke, but the franchise has not helped this cause and a lot of it is their own fault. Fifth. As I have already stated if I stop watching the Bills I will cease to watch any NFL team. As it is now I don't watch any NFL game that does not somehow affect tghe Bills. For example I have seen roughly 2 minutes of football this weekend. Why??? Because if the Bills are not playing I don't care.

Our last head coach was brought in because he was the cheapest experienced coach we could find. The fact that Dockery and Walker got those contract just shows the incompetency of the front office. I agree about Clements and Peters....And I am hopeful for Nix. But the way he was hired was horrible. just more of the same bad judgements. This organization is fresh out of perspective and it is our duty as fans to help give them some. If you just blindly follow whatever they do and cheer no matter what, you are art of the problem. Dude I love Buffalo and the entire area. My entire family is from Lackawanna. And I get your point.And Buffalo will always be my football team. I could not back any other franchise ever. But they owe us, and we need to start letting them know that this is not acceptable.

No your right, and I do expect it. But I think it is something that needs to be addressed. And yes I am a die hard Bills fan, I just expect more from the organization. I think they owe all of us big time for our dedication to them. Where is their commitment to us?
