  1. Yeah, if he doesn't want to be here, then by all means move him. Once these guys get disrespected by an eight million dollar offer there is usually no more honeymoon.
  2. Cutler might wish he had kept his mouth shut.
  3. have these guys been wrong?
  4. What do you mean would be?
  5. Me too.
  6. We are thirty one million under the cap. Peters won't count nearly that much in one year. I say spend Ralph's money, he has plenty.
  7. That must be it. We have substantial cap room and are standing pat. Maybe the fans will get a stimulus check
  8. Peters will never get that much in real money. By all accounts Haynesworth may have signed a contract that says something to that effect but will never realize the full term and neither will Jason.
  9. Ice cream is coming up fast on the outside
  10. Does he have a bad back?
  11. Mike Leach got his hat handed to him in their bowl game by mid-tier S.E.C. team. Why the infatuation? Is he just mavericky?
  12. Football contracts are meaningless. You get that big money upfront and that is it, I can see why Peters wants it, who doesn't? Does he deserve it? He might, but I believe that he no longer has the fire that made him a good left tackle, if he did he would have should up last year with a chip on both shoulders and carried Beast to the house, or sat out the entire season or until he got what he wanted in terms of money. Coming in at the eleventh hour so he doesn't miss a meal showed he really doesn't have the stomach for big stakes poker games. Parker is playing chicken with house money, what does he have to lose? Peters on the other hand has a lot at stake. He sits, no deal, and all of sudden the players get locked out he will be looking around and wondering what the heck happened? He needs to pick a side of the fence and stay on it. Either he wants to be a football player making nine million or he wants to be an over paid ego.
  13. Thanks, i thought that time line was off. I liked Jennings, he played hard when he was in there and if you go back and look at film he made a lot of tackles on intercepted passes. and on a side note. Newspapers are the covered wagon, they need to find their continuity of purpose or they will continue to fall by the way side.
  14. As has been said here before, there is a team just south of Buffalo with brand new rings and no pro bowl left tackle..... I equate elite with professional and Peters is far from professional.
  15. I am coming to the same conclusions. Peters is acting like he just wants the money, now that he has tasted real money. Anquan Bolden played last season for far less and after suffering a serious injury. Peters came in only when he was about to lose a check. That whiff in the Jets game that wound up costing us the game spoke volumes.
  16. when motivated seems to be the truth here. peters plays real well when he is motivated but when he isn't, well you know that story. he gave up more sacks than a rookie, a second year man and some teams. would you pay a man top dollar for average productivity or only working when he feels like it? Peters seems to have been bitten by the success bug and i fear he will never live up to the once blossoming potential he once possessed. Say what you want but Jason Peters has Bryan Cox in his ear and just wants the money now.
  17. how do you know they don't have a contingency plan? just because you can't see it from the couch it ain't there?
  18. what about rey? i have liked him for awhile now as hard hitting play maker, and you will too if he is on the Bills come September.
  19. the Bills should hold the line with Peters, he is under contract and it is high time he learned a lesson. He could be making some substantial money but chooses to try to leverage what? He needs to show up and play ball. Every year that slides by costs him at least three million and in life you don't get those back. In football it becomes even more precious, time that is. i had said previously that the Bills should give Ralph's money away and sign him but now, whatever. just like last year he will come in for his check, be prepared to sit him and let him know that this is a team game and you don't need a pro bowl tackle to get a ring.
  20. two words for you, fili moala!
  21. if he is great i take all the credit, as i was the first to mention him here, if not i never said a word
  22. what's football?
  23. Fantasy football has made everyone a general manager. The one thing about all those scenerios is that almost the entire league would have to cooperate and the solar eclipse would be needed to seal the deal.
