  2. I watched USC just manhandle PSU in the Rose and never thought much of the Maybin pick. Sanchez had plenty of time in that game.
  3. why do you wanna hate on the beast?
  4. Lnagston has gotten his big contract and won't be getting that blockbuster deal. I think his reaction is being over simplified. He doesn't strike me as the bubbling over gushy p.r. type. He is probably very matter of fact, and while he may not be over joyed to be at LT he will put on his hard hat and go do his job.
  5. oh yeah!
  6. We will see just how good Cassel is outside of Foxboro soon. I am a skeptic that he will be as good in Arrowhead as he was in Gillete Stadium.
  7. I am not complaining. Sign him and you will find my gear on ebay.
  8. If he doesn't perform in a contract year, he most certainly never will, or is he another Mike Williams who got all his money for something he did in college?
  9. what will tomorrow's vick thread be skooby?
  10. Skooby, you have been beating this drum for some time now, so there is no surprise to see you started this thread. I seriously doubt anyone has changed their mind on this.
  11. Do they need to be state of the art? No, but wouldn't you like a new car? The point someone made about college stadiums continuing to get the job done is very valid. As far as the N.F.L. goes though it really is an ego thing for the owners and their bank.
  12. It is called marketing. Create the illusion of limited supply and watch demand grow.
  13. 1.maybin, will he hold up against the run? 2.ellison or whomever plays linebacker on that side, just seems to be a weak spot in the defense
  14. Hypothetically that all sounds great, but forget about it. It will never happen, for a myriad of reasons.
  15. exactly what do you mean, "he was an accomplish for murder?"
  16. To get back to the original post, why did our season tank? For me its simple. Our players are not being put in positions to win. And that lies on the coaches. All teams seem to get a few wins on luck and I would argue that's what we got early on. But when the level of competition got tougher, our coaching staff had no answer. They could not inspire our players nor could they come up with the right decisions to match our opponents. As the season progressed, it became more and more clear each week that the Bills just weren't prepared for the team they were facing. this is so true and very much in evidence in the fourth quarter against N.E. when they took all fifteen minutes to have their way with us. One can only hope this has stuck in the craw of the defense all off-season.
  17. did Buffalo do anything in the off season to prevent this from happening again? i hope so. I have never cared for TO but if he hates losing like i do and can bring some of that accountability to the squad then he will be a great acquistion. If he implodes the team while doing it, not so great. Finally addressing our offensive line issues, by both dumping Peters (a malcontent) and getting a couple of young nasty men up front, should pay dividends where we need it most. SHORT YARDAGE! I ask, "Are you ready for some football?"
  18. He sure could hit that home run ball.
  19. McNair seem to like to hang out at bars with a country and western flavor, must be a Mississippi thang.
  20. interesting how the thread turned to duff's and wings but little about the anchor bar.
  21. You name the scenario that has us winning and I will get the popcorn. I don't care, 1 and 0 is a great way to start the season, especially if we can watch the M!@#$s pout. Priceless!
  22. that is an interesting idea, but if history is any indication that is probably an idea best left alone. T.O. doesn't do encores very well and if forced to do one, i would imangine he will take to throwing everyone under the bus, train, falls, you name it.
