  1. Relax the Jets are in a different stage in their franchise. Remember they sucked for years with getting some players in the trenches etc..They feel they have the talent to make an SB run and are putting the final pieces in place. We are far away from that so I guess we need to be patient and not become insane in the interm.
  2. Not crazy about that plan need to block and play D first.
  3. Look I realize this is not reality and won't happen but everything else posted is about the same so have fun with this. The best LT option is Gaither so I propose we swap first round picks with BAL and offer a conditional pick (3rd or 4th) for next year to get the deal done. Say that happens I would focus this draft almost entirely on the trenches. RD 1 Pick 25 DT Terrance Cody Alabama - I like Cam Thomas in RD 2 also but it's a need and I think he has the most upside if motivated. Other options Jerry Hughes OLB TCU. RD 2 QB Tim Tebow Florida- It's obvious the Bills like him another need pick. Other options DT Cam Thomas. RD 3 OLB Ricky Sapp Clemson - Could have been a late 1st or 2nd rounder had not been for Knee injury. We need to hunt QB's to win in our division. RD 4 OT Jason Fox Miami - Now we have 4 lineman played LT but I would play him at RT. RD 5 DE CJ Wilson ECU - 6-3 288 DE can get to the QB hopefully can develop into a 3-4 RDE RD 6 C Eric Wilson Notre Dame - 6-4 306 Can play C or G, hopefully can develop into a starter. RD 7 ILB Micah Johnson Kentucky - 6-2 256 A little slow at 4.88 40 but possible 3-4 ILB prospect.
  4. Can't win without an offensive line we need a LT before a QB. Unfortunately I am not sold on Trent Williams as an NFL LT so we may be in trouble at 9 regardless of who we select.
  5. Per Rotoworld Marc Bulger was released today.
  6. It does not matter who the QB is if you can't protect him. This team needs to be rebuilt in the trenches on both sides of the ball first.
  7. Everybody please get a clue...you don't put your business in the media, the coach is fine.
  8. How about we swap firsts and give them a 3rd or 2nd if necessary.
  9. I don't think he fits either. Trading him and Stroud or K Williams for a 2nd rounder would be a good move in my opinion. we have 3 or 4 RDE's for a 3-4 no LDE or NT, could use another LB or two. So I would trade some of these 4-3 guys for a good pick or two and build through the draft.
  10. Look it's not over yet...how would you feel if they traded for shaun rogers around the draft or got another vet and got a DT on the first two rounds of the draft, pretty solid. I'm not upset by the moves so far.
  11. Good signing, we need a few linebackers. We can get a DT in the draft.
  12. I agree everybody is upset we aren't signing a bunch of FA's this year, but I don't see a good free agent market this year. Except for Peppers the best players got franchised or never hit the market due to the CBA. I don't see the point in overpaying for declining vets.
  13. I'll second that.
  14. They hit the nail on the head, we are still rebuilding get ready for another rough few years.
  15. Don't freak out..What if they are waiting to trade Whitner until the Eagles decide what to do with McNabb? and if they don't they move him to the Browns for Rogers. The guys we will target, Tre Thomas, Jamal Williams, Joey Porter are not getting signed right away. It's better to let them see what their market worth is instead of over paying for older players. I'm not worried yet, it's a weak FA class.
  16. I watched him a bunch last year and he is a stud. Fits is nickname Big Baby B/C he's tired of losing...I would love him as our NT.
  17. The last few years he has not been able to stick with a team or get on the field...wonder what that's about?
  18. Don't know why but Bulaga feels like a bust..remindes me of Robert Gallery
  19. How about to get King Kong...I know he's a 4-3 tackle but looks like the best player in the draft.
  20. No Big deal we knew this was going to happen. If we get Jason Ferguson for a year or two and draft a NT in the first 3 rounds we will be fine. The D needs a total overhaul and it will take a little time. However the thought of Ferguson next to Stroud sounds better than last year...now add Seymour or Jarvis Green and we might get a front seven.
  21. He is going to be cut in Jax I wonder if at 35 he could give us a solid year or two while Bell or insert next project develop into an NFL Lt? His price should be reasonable.
  22. He did not have much time either.
  23. Another clueless post.
