  1. I agree Maybin is not a good fit here, he has shown that carrying the extra 15 lbs makes him slow. Personally Ayers is my pick at DE especially if we could get him in the second. Johnson from GT will be there in rd 2 and has more talent so my vote is Cushing or Raji in the first and DE in the second. Unless Orakpo slips to 11.
  2. Most of the media will say negative things about the Bills, but screw them they really don't know what they are talking about. I will say John Seibel was mostly positive about TO in Buffalo last night on espn radio. As far as the small market if you factor in Southern Ontario and all of WNY including Rochester the Bills have a good size fan base and media market. I think TO will help promote us throughout Southern Ontario, which could be a good think for the franchise.
  3. Maybe this could be a bigger trade with KC getting us Waters and TG. That would make the offense more explosive.
  4. There are still a lot of players out there. Kendell Simmons, Tank Johnson, Jason Taylor. Trade options are still available, so hopefully they will continue to improve the roster.
  5. The only thing I want to hear from Kelsay is how thankful he was for the opportunity the Bills gave him while cleaning out his locker.
  6. Bentley would be a good risk to take. If healthy he was one of the best centers in the league. The Bills would need to sign a guard and have a back up plan incase he cannot play at a high level.
  7. With TO the Bills would at least be interesting to watch. The sideline antics and interviews would be priceless....almost like having Jim Mora.
  8. At this stage most of the guys the Bills are talking to are going to be around in a week or after the draft, so what is the rush. They maybe hearing other rumors of player releases around the league, exploring trade options, or waiting to see how the draft plays out. I'm not worried about the lack of signings at least it's not completly quiet at OBD.
  9. That is a lot of stock. At the rate they are going it could be a million shares.
  10. If he is a better fit in our defensive scheme I would at least find out how much and have him visit. Early in his career he was a good player maybe the scheme affects his game.
  11. Good point Kevin Jones is back today so maybe something is up. I could see a packsge for a QB, WR, or key defensive player. Lynch in a move for Boldin could make some sense.
  12. Okay how many pro bowls did Dockery go to? Oh none , Waters is a three time Pro Bowl guard, he is also a two time all pro selection. He is a significant upgrade for the line that needs veteran players. Also why would you say only 2 years? Offensive lineman usually are productive past 35 years old.
  13. First of all he won't want to play here, second the Bills are not ready for a player that disruptive.
  14. Kevin Burnett would be worth a look at OLB.
  15. We need a pass catching TE seems logical, won't happen.
  16. Good question we need a #2 WR, LG and some depth on the O-line. On defense they need at least 1 LB, 2 DE's, DT and a better scheme. The trade route may be a better option. Waters at gaurd, Braylon and or Rogers from Cle. Just some Wags, may not be realistic. FA's Tank Johnson, Coles, Harrison, Brooks or Lewis.???
  17. No way Tuck or Osi get traded. Robbins would be the guy.
  18. Maybe Safety.
  19. Personally I don't care if we sign Coles. Holt could be had via trade and even at 33 is a better player. Also Toomer is a pro and team guy that would be a good fit here.
  20. I dont' think the Bills are cheap, they do lack a blueprint. Over the past 10 years we have had a 3-4 defense, the Greg Williams 4-3, and the Tampa 2. On offense we have had so many changes nobody knows what the heck is going on. Meanwhile Pittsburgh since the 90's has had the same defensive scheme and a power offense. They run the ball and out muscle the opponent. Notice everywhere Parcells goes he does something similar. This team identity allows franchises to build through the draft and get players to fit their system. We change so often it's a continus rebuilding mode so after a while nobody fits the system. The point I'm tyring to make is the owner is really to blame he's not cheap just not consistent in building the franchise. Even with all of the GM's & coaches over the past 10 years if he would have said we build through the draft, build in the trenches and solidify the defense and running game first we maybe in better shape. This year especially the free agent pool is thin and in the first 5 days teams overpay for guys early. Does anyone think Bart Scott is worth $8milllion per year, or Haynesworth is worth QB $$, or DeAngelo Hall at $9 million per year. Some of these numbers are insane. The Bills do need to get off their a$$ and get some talent on the roster soon.
  21. No complaints here, Cushing would be tremendous in our defense. Plus it looks more and more like DE in the second may provide better value. I'm not sold on Maybin, at 11 a tweener is a risky pick for a defense with many needs.
  22. Has John Guy had any hits in FA? I think it has been all misses.
  23. I would go with a throwback to your favorite player. At this point all we have are memories of what used to be a good franchise.
  24. It's not but understand the concern. The Bills don't seem to be executing a plan for success, they just look second rate this year.
  25. He would be a good pick up especially to rush the QB.
