It looks like Bills fans are going to run another "rebuilding" coach out of town on a rail again, so we can again expect to start from square one. It has always been my plan that when the Bills are in the "rebuilding" phase to have a "backup team" to root for until the Bills get back on track. I am sure alot of you guys are on the same page. Right now I am torn between the Jets, the Titans, the Panthers and the Dolphins because they all seem to be on the rise What do you guys think?

Is it up to the fans to "fix" the Bills

Were THESE Canadians at the game? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzwOpACqP48 -
I shook hands with Joe back when he was coaching at Duke in the 1999 season. He is not as tall as claimed. He looked about 6'1". At the time he looked about 230 lbs and trim. I think he spends alot more time on the treadmill than he does the weights. He would get destroyed

Deon was nothing more than a "cover corner". Nothing but a fast and nimble pretty boy and he wasn't afraid to admit it. He was the exact opposite of Ronnie Lott. Look at some old films of Deon. When he had the chance to nail someone, he would instead choose to ankle tackle him or spin around behind and take him down with a Heimlich maneuver. Off-topic a bit...who was that white saftey the Bills used to have-had a german name-Schmidt, or Shultz or whatever....He liked to nail people, but sometimes he would whiff and the guy would get away. Wait a minute---I just expressed an opinion about the play of defensive backs. I never played defensive back beyond the touch football level...Please disregard what I just wrote -

You can express you opinion, but that doesn't mean anyone has to take you seriously. It's like the stupid things my son-in-law says when he watches a football game "If he would have stayed in bounds he would have gotten farther down the field"....."If he would have kicked it 6 more feet to the left, it would have been good"..."If he would have run faster, they would not have caught him". My son-in-law is a good guy, a smart guy, and he treats my daughter like a queen, but he is a DORK. He is the type of guy who never played any sports and keeps a notebook in his pocket to write down and engineering ideas that pop into his head throughout the day. When it comes to football, he knows nothing. -

The best line I ever heard Matt Millen say was "Deon Saunders breaks out into a rah at the thought of a running back breaking through the line where he would have to make a tackle" -
I think Joe D's last coaching job was as a tight ends coach at Duke, where he experienced ALOT of losing

My guess would be John Fisher Seeing as you listed TWO positions, I would guess you got little or no playing time -

That logic applies in bigger markets like Dallas and NYC. They will fill the stadium regardless. Buffalo fans have to be LOYAL in good times and in bad. The Bills are the only game in town. It's more a a family than a business and fans must be patient or they will pack their bags and move to LA. We have to eat Ralph's poop and hope for the best -

You really knocked me off-balance when you invoked George Bush and Brittney Spears. THAT WAS NOT fair. You made me stagger backwards into the ropes with those two idiots as your left jab and right right hook. Now that I have shaken off that wicked combo, I am ready to respond.... Jaroon wants to win football games. His career and reputation depend upon it. The difference is that George Bush was manipulated by the likes of Dick Cheney and the rest of his Freemasonic handlers who were out to make big money off the military-industrial complex and WE are paying for it. -

Yes, indeed. As a high school lineman, I just had to know what my assignments were and all the semi-complicated stuff was going on behind me. Come to think of it, maybe the sissies in the stands have a BETTER understanding of the game than we do because they had a bird's eye view. I am sure a jock-sniffing bishop polisher like John Clayton was on the AV crew, so he not only had a chance to see it all from the press box, he got to review the films. Maybe the Bills should hire John Clayton as head coach and the trombone player as his defensive coordinator -
I always check Consumer Reports That is why I bought that Pinto back in 1974

I really don't understand all this talk about how to "fix" the Bills It is not up to us I never played the game beyond high school. I don't think I, or the average fan is qualified to tell anyone how to run the team. Most of you are just spewing what you hear pencil-necks like John Clayton yap about. John Clayton is half crippled. He even has a treach scar, so I would bet he was born with birth defects. No harm intended, and I am glad the guy is able to function, but how can a guy like that talk about a physical game like football and have anyone take him seriously? Let's leave it to the pros

I just heard this snapperhead is turning himself in to police Monday morning

I agree that Marv was not as bad as Jimmy Johnson, but you must admit he gave certain players a free pass. He gave way too many chances to woman abusers like Damien Covington and cocaine abusers like Bruce Smith. He also failed to reign in that cigarette, booze and stripper addict, Thurman Thomas. As you recall, when the team hired off duty Hamburg cops to folow Bruce Smith around to monitor his cocaine activities, he cried "racism" until they left him alone. Do you call that "character"?
