  1. Is that a penis joke?
  2. While I can definitely agree that Gilmore & Williams could've been better, I think the larger blame actually should go to our safeties, particularly, Byrd. One example is that near TD where Holmes came down out of bounds - Gilmore (or maybe it was Williams) played the bump on Holmes, but let him get past him because he expected to have safety help up top (that's Byrd's job). Unfortunately, Byrd was nowhere near that play, and was looking towards the center of the field. There were other instances where I thought Jairus was in the wrong place at times, that I honestly wouldn't attribute to our young CB's.
  3. Not for long.
  4. Anyone have a side-by-side picture of Mario and Maybin? I think it'll be funny to see how big Mario looks next to him.
  5. Here it is. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/19424114/top-impact-rookies-for-2012-nfl-season Edit: Looks like I added it right after the the post was updated. Oops
  6. Not that I watch much soccer (the other football), but what about some of the athletes from those sports? You have Pele, Ronaldo, Messi, Ronaldinho... just 4 of the only ones I can name. I mean, Messi's 5'7, and pretty much dominating the sport right now. Not sure what that says about his athletic prowess though.
  7. Can we close this thread so I win?
  8. ...who also sleeps with men for money. Lots of money .
  9. http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/05/29/truth-is-out-there-about-ufo-in-baltic-sea-swedish-scientists-say/ Apparently it takes them a while to prep the equipment / team to journey down there, but it's in the works.
  10. Ugh...couldn't help myself... Stay away people.
  11. New York, NY In Jests country, unfortunately.
  12. http://www.nfl.com/top100/2012#video=09000d5d828d4686 Edit: Oops...looks like that's just a link to the reaction show.
  13. Fitz's beard looks especially scraggly in that video.
  14. I like the pick - I think we got good value, and at a position of need too. The one thing that concerns me is that during Chan's presser after the pick, I had a flashback moment when he said "I don't think you can ever have enough good corners in the NFL." Reminded me of the Jauronian days.
  15. If you take a close look at most of his highlights, most of his great / big plays come when he's rolling outside of the pocket. The reason for this (I think) is because he then doesn't have 6'6" linemen blocking his line of sight and passing lanes due to his height. IMO, this could be a problem in the NFL, where defenses would key in on the fact that he's only really able to throw out of the pocket. Granted, this is from a very limited sample - it's hard to really scout a guy by looking at highlights. With that said, I'd definitely take a flyer on him in the 4th.
  16. I'll admit it. I was one of those people that wanted us to get Gabbert. I also believed that Cam Newton wouldn't do well in the NFL - just shows you how much I know .
  17. Link works for me
  18. People, let's not feed the trolls. Or rather, the Kidds...
  19. Buddy was a regional scout specializing in the Southeast. That's where his expertise is, as well as most of his contacts are. We're naturally going to see more players from the southeast because of it.
  20. I wonder if Miami would be interested in Tebow... Not sure how I feel about that. On 1 hand, we handily destroyed Tebow when we played the Broncos last season. On the other hand, Tebow's ability to win scares me a little.
  21. If we decide to prorate the bonus over the length of the contact, then yes, the cap hit is 9m this year. However, with the bills operating under cash to cap discipline, Al money spent this year, including the bonus gets placed on this years cap number. So for this year, the cap hit is 25m, and generally very reasonable for all other years. We still have over 12m to spend for this year even...
  22. I posted this in another thread somewhere, but the bills have plenty of room. we have close to $25m in space left under the cap, and about $12.9m left in cash to cap.
  23. What I think that some people forget is that we're still using the "cash-to-cap" system in our contracts, and that even with this signing, we're still $12.9M under the cap in Cash-to-Cap! Great planning by Buddy & the finance folks to get this deal done - pretty amazing that such a deal was even possible under cash-to-cap.
  24. What the hell happened everyone? Page 212 started at 6:12. It is now 6:43, and we're still on it?? Shape up people!! Ahh..wait...forgot everyone's probably drunk by now. Damnit...I hate being stuck at work.
