  1. Special teams coverage has been pretty good - patriots have consistently been starting drives around the 23-25 yard line.
  2. McKelvin made a series of GREAT plays on defense.
  3. Yeah, if only he was 30 pounds heavier, he could play LB!
  4. Yeah, that happens when you have a rookie RB in the game. Takes time to learn that...
  5. First 3rd and 10+ conversion in 40 attempts!!
  6. That first long pass wasn't his fault though - Brady had a full 5 seconds to throw. No matter how good your coverage is, it'll always break down with time.
  7. That TD was Donte's fault - he bit HARD on the run, leaving his assignment to watch the middle of the endzone and basically let Moss walk right by him.
  8. Lol it gets someone EVERY time.
  9. Woohoo! Second Best!!
  10. The last RB that we drafted in the 1st round that we didn't really use correctly for the first few seasons...was the Juice. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
  11. "STOP FOLLOWING ME!!!"
  12. Could have sworn Stanford was a Pac 10 school
  13. Said female reporter was probably just jealous of the attention
  14. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/27733/is-mark-sanchez-new-captain-checkdown Article by Tim Graham. Maybe with the passage of the title, Trent will finally grow a pair and throw it long? One can hope...
  15. And if Bell DID pick up the outside blitz instead, then Mary wouldn't be able to step up and throw anyways because of an inside blitz in his face. But it's a moot point...Trent wouldn't have thrown the ball to begin with.
  16. I guess I'll defer to you on this one - I thought I saw different. Will have to watch the game again before I can say definitively that I'm wrong, but I'll trust your eye here. Anyone else see?
  17. It wasn't Bell's fault. TG even commented on that blitz in his blog, in his article about Dansby. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/17953/karlos-dansby-hits-ground-bills-running Bell did his job and picked up Wake. What Trent was supposed to do was recognize the possibility of a 2 on 1 blitz on his left side, and either shift the protection to that side, or find the hot-route that Dansby would have had to cover had he dropped into coverage. Trent did neither, and got punished for it. Don't blame Bell - he actually did a decent job this game. I thought it was promising.

  19. Agreed - once I saw that, I was about to respond with the same quote.
  20. On the subject of Ralph dying and his family saving a ton on estate taxes, Congress actually has the ability to pass a retroactive estate tax that will cover any estate that doesn't get taxed in this year - so it's a moot argument.
  21. That article was a bit dated... was this the one? http://www.texnews.com/1998/1999/cowboys/off1024.html Regardless, some good stuff in here
  22. Not only this, but of our top 4 running-backs in terms of yards this pre-season, CJ Spiller has the lowest YPC average (4.7). http://www.nfl.com/teams/buffalobills/statistics?team=BUF
