  1. Well said! GO! Travel while you are healthy and don't look back!
  2. Yes. I usually drive 10 mph over the speed limit. When I see someone is approaching,I move over to allow for them to pass. Afterwards I move back to the left lane so I'm not behind someone who just goes the speed limit.
  3. Can you just amagine the road kill@CountryCletus could make with that meerkat!!!! In other news , I once saw meerkat being cooked on a "Diners Dives and Drive Inns". Guy just had to step away.
  4. My thoughts.... Jerry wanted reps to his new toy ..Amari Cooper.
  5. Ok...as per your request. First of all I am the oldest. Even though I'm a girl Mom always said I was his son. The yearly vacation was always the trip to Galveston from Fort Worth. We went fishing early on and I caught my first fish. Either on the drive down or back home we attended a Houston Colts baseball game. I saw players like Joe Morgan, Jimmy Wynn and Rusty Staub play. Then later the Houston Colts became the Houston Astros and we saw a few games there too. Daddy worked 10-12 hours a day so when Saturday and Sunday rolled around he took care of the yard, the cars and his down time was sports. That's when we bonded and how to this day I'm such a sports fan/nut. Daddy and Mom belonged to a bridge pot luck group. When my sister and I got older we could go too. So...one night Daddy was talking with the guys about College Football. The conversation got around to who won the Heisman Trophy as few days ago. Daddy said I believe it's John Huarte. A few wasn't so convinced so he goes into the TV room and has me come into where they were playing bridge and asks me do you remember who won the Heisman this year? I said "yes it was John Huarte of Notre Dame". We had other memories too. We also went to see the Fort Worth Cats ( baseball minor league. The Fort Worth Red Wings ( Detroit minor) along with The Dallas Blackhawks ( Chicago ) And finally we saw our Cowboys play in the early 60's. Man they were BAD but it made it possible for 2 to attend for a total cost of $10.00. Program,2 drinks and seats at the 50 yard line. I still have a sore neck from watching Jim Brown run up and down the field those games. Last April it marked 20 years since I lost him. I miss him dearly especially when watching sports.
  6. RIP Condolences to his family, his friends and his fans ⚾
  7. Happy Birthday ???? Have a wonderful day!
  8. Thank you ? I'll cheer until I cough. YAAAAAY if there's no rain. I just don't want to walk in mud nor sit in a wet seat at commercial time.
  9. Off to Rochester Friday morning. Heading to Buffalo Sunday. Seeing the sights and tailgating. Down to Hammer's Lot midday Monday. Hanging with the TBD group and the Red Pinto Kenny Tailgate Group then the game. Back to Rochester on Tuesday. Home on Wednesday. Going to miss a few of you guys being so bundled up in rain gear. If you see someone with a Dallas Cowboys scarf around my neck, please say hello. May everyone who's going travel safe.
  10. Horribly sad. Last I read some lost their leg and or their foot.
  11. Different sport.....I think baseball. My Texas Rangers sure could use to "" Bring Back Fergy"" ( Ferguson Jenkins ).
  12. Exactly! Happens in the Dallas Fort Worth area too.
