I like both of them and the Rays are #21 in 2010 baseball salary but the Twins are #11 and only $300k from inclusion in the top 10: 2010 Baseball salary rank. The Yanks and Red Sox are running away from everybody but the Twins may not qualify as 'little' any longer. The Yankees average $6M per player more than the Rays. Wow!!
I like my Texas Rangers and they are ranked # 27 and they are NOT like the 96..98 or 99 team either.

from me TOO!!!I stayed for the whole debacle. Just wanted to see how empty the Ralph would look....it was brutal. This is a bad team. Defense is dreadful. If we are going to lose 14 or so games - don't do it with veterans! Play the young guys and let them learn. At least then we could find some solace in such a debacle.
I agree it was the '''young guys''' that played well in preseason.

He was listed as the starter in game one but now he isn't. Now they want to 'bring him along slowly' when every other rookie RB is starting and beginning to kick ass. Did the Bills miss again on a first round pick? It is just a known thing that RB is hands down the easiest position to just start as a rookie in the NFL. Spiller is hands down the most explosive weapon we have and he is sitting? He is the highest paid back on the team and he is sitting? This kid was clearly the best in the preseason, was here for OTA's etc Vs lynch sitting at home etc. So WTF? WTF is Gailey thinking sitting our #9 high paid, most talented RB on the bench?
We better pray that this kid becomes a full time starter because teams can't afford with the cap to pay multi millions to utility players.
Not using Spiller puzzles me too. Any one that does as well as he did academicaly in college isn't DUMB.
