  1. Jaboby Brissett Go Wolfpack!
  2. Cool, so Tebow is owed 600 or so more attempts!
  3. No, that would be because he blows!
  4. Damn you Greco, I nearly typed the same thing!
  5. Facts vs hyperbole.....awesome. Regurgitate Hoge, snicker....wash rinse repeat.
  6. John....is EJ a rookie?I am not wrong, this is week 1 of the 2014-1015 NFL season of which EJ has already participated in pre-season action. EJ's rookie season (and camp and pre-season) ended in December of last year. His sophmore season began when he entered camp this year. You can't spin it any other way. The sky is blue, no it isn't....but its blue, no it isn't.......
  7. What double standard? Actually, you are applying the double standard. JM is a rookie. EJ is not. If we were having this discussion last year, when EJ was a rookie, you would have a valid point. Whether EJ played all 16 games of his rookie season is irrelavant to his status as a rookie. EJ has had a full year (and then some) in a pro environment and has played in actual (as in, for competition's sake) professional football games. JM has less than 4 months in the pros and has played 0 games in the NFL (competitively). There is no comparison unless you are trying to slant the information to match your own argument. note: this has nothing to do with EJ or JM, I just get so tired of the same tripe used to color a discussion. And for the record: Hoge = Stephen A = Stojan
  8. oh cool, is Percy Harvin still a rookie?
  9. Referring to FSU as "the womb" is quite hilarious.....and fitting. Thank you for that.
  10. I don't think it was a change in philosophy, it was a dramatic change in the talent levels and match-ups on the field.suddenly, there was a little more time (and space in the pocket) to throw, our receivers were winning their match-ups, CJ had room to run because the D-line and linebackers weren't getting up field or wide to seal the corners. It's basically college football....in most games one team is just much more talented than the other. Our 1st team offense is clearly better than a defense made of guys who don't start or who may not be in the NFL in two weeks.
  11. .....and maybe we could ask Marrone to wear a Jimbo Fisher mask, we can have Chief Osceola ride around on a buffalo, the crowd can do the that mindless indian chant, schedule games against Virginia Tech, NC State and Duke....and if the sewers back up again, EJ might actually believe he is back at Doak Campbell Stadium.
  12. do you get the same feeling when people say "He has all of the tools", "He has a higher ceiling" or "intangibles"?
  13. .....uh no, they still haven't succeeded....so maybe they can get Eli Manning, he at least wins Superbowls.
  14. Yes, i now see your point...in the first 8 games they gave up 28 points per game....in the last 8 games they gave up 20.75 points per game (23 ppg including the playoffs).....the domination of that defense and the improvement in the second half of the year is UNQUESTIONABLE. (edited to 28 ppg, typo....20.75 matho)
  15. Can Dick Lebeau confirm that? Oh wait...nevermind.
  16. So is your points that Tebow sucks, that losing to the Bills is embarrassing or that the two are mutually inclusive? By that logic, Cam Newton should not be in the league either and his win/loss is barely above .500.
  17. That's a great point, except that Tebow (like everyone else now) ran the read-option. As for the Denver's D in 2011, you can show me all the rankings you want, that team gave up 29 or more points in 7 off their games (including the playoffs) and 40 or more in 5. If that is a great defense that carries a team, then I need to rethink the term "great defense". The Tebow-offense for the broncos put up 29 or more in 3 games (Orton-offense = 0). Never let fact cloud a good crusade.
  18. This strong arm classification for EJ comes from where....what evidence supports this assertion? The combine numbers put him in tthe middle of that group. I don't recall there being buzz when he was at FSU as having a 'gun'.....so aside from wanting it to be true, is there anything other than...wait and see?
  19. It likely means that the oft repeated "weak arm" comments are as baseless as the "slow eyes" and "locks on to recievers" comments. Unfortunately one can actually be measured while the other two are figments of ESPN's imagination. Never let facts get in the way of a good rant.
  20. Could you provide a list of first round QBs or simply drafted QBs that are/were simply not that good? Are there even 3 names on that list?
  21. BiggBuff....that is simply not true.....throwing a long sideline pass that lands in-bounds is now considered progress. This is the United States my friend where differing opinions are not only no longer respected but should be shouted down by any means necessary. Hey, this snarky thing is kinda fun.
  22. His real crime in not playing on a LOADED team in weak conference....and he should be forever ostracized for that! Flogging is not out of the question.
  23. So if it's Jeff Tuel, its ok to rag on a Bills QB...but if we were in Italy.........
  24. uh no....rodney peete was considered to have all the tools and a high ceiling (whatever that means) a gifted athlete, great college career....but other than that yeah, the are both black. Would you have felt better if I had said, Dan McGuire? and if you want to participate on a fan board....do not ever tell me or anyone what to do...OK? wow...what friggin arrogance.Tell me Dork, why is ok to rag on Jeff Tuel...a Buffalo Bill, but not EJ Manuel? Because you are crushin' on him?
