Does Fred Jackson merit wall of fame?
Bufcomments replied to Original Byrd Man's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I loved Bobby Chandler too, he make some great catches. But Moulds did way more than he did. Cookie and Saban won't go on until Ralph passes. But I would bet Moulds goes on before Chandler. -

Amen to ALL of this. -
Stevie Johnson not playing this weekend
Bufcomments replied to jumbalaya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No because it happened to me last year. It took that long to bury my father. Which surprised me. most it has to do with funeral homes. Takes time for paper work to go through. -

If the Bills Beat NE IN Foxbough with a backup QB and with Stevie and A. Williams out... I will be impressed...very impressed. But I doubt it will happen. NE needs game for next week off. I expect an ass -kicking from Brady this week. Maybe one of his last ones . But for once I like the Bills to surprise me, ill take a moral victory this week lol. We shall see if Marrone can coach this week. We will find out if things have really changed. -

This should be a vote poll. I say yes, he is what being a pro is all about. -
Patience.... We almost there on D. One more stud OLB like Kiko. Oline needs some upgrading. Better QB play from E.J. ( which might happen) I have confidence that Wailey will get it done THIS off-season. Heck , I expect the playoffs next year. They would have made a serious run this year if not for injuries, turnovers at key times.

nice post. It was to be expected they improve as the season went on. Byrd missed some time in the beginning, Gilmores injury, the secondary not a full strength at the start. McKelvin has improved, so has A. Williams who made a big leap this year. They found the perfect slot role for Robey, who has been a very pleasant surprise. Then add 10 sacks with Hughes, which you have to admit was unexpected. They need 1 run stuffing LB to go with Kiko. They gonna be nice if everybody stays aboard on D next year. Petine is an excellent coach. Look at the improved play from Kyle, Mario and Dareus.

Bill.....I'm with ya on Thad. So far he played against Cinny, N.O. Miami Twice. 2 wins vs Fish and 2 losses to playoff teams. Want to see Thad play Sunday not EJ. There I said it and sticking to it. Robey is my fav Bills player this year. Woods should have known better, I bet Marrone cussed him out on that one. Sack record plus some...yay. We not that far away and I am confident that Wailey goes out and get HIS QB, not one Buddy drafted for him. Off-season is gonna be hella interesting for sure.

I agree if Thad plays well vs the Pats I think we focus on getting the Oline upgraded, which would help both Freddie ( who is my starter at RB) and CJ I like Thad because if he sees it , he throws it. No hesitation. EJ sometimes does it.

How can you judge E.J. if he is not fully healthy?? I say if he is not fully mobile shut him down. Besides I want to see Thad play against the Pats. I think if he wins the game we have a good problem heading into next season. The Bills IMO are solid QB play away from the playoffs. I don't care who the QB is either. -
I ALWAYS want the Bills to win. If they lose I want them to beat Brady up like pancake batter.
-
not really. The Cinny loss was more important because it was the AFC. And we had them at the Ralph. Win that game and we still be in it. But maybe Russ ought to consider giving up a game in Sept. instead of Dec. Maybe the dome could be open air for that game in T.O. if you had it in Sept. ...just saying. At least it would semi- feel like a home game if it was outdoors.

Hate to say it..... (QB situation)
Bufcomments replied to IslandBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'l tell you what, if E.J. doesnt play next week because of the knee AND Thad goes on the road AND beats the Pats, then we can talk. But I do like Thad and I don't think he gets enough credit for what he has done. Lets not forget that he was picked up during the year and didnt have training camp to learn the offence. And I do like that he does throw it down the field. And the coaching staffs already has him ahead of Tuel. -
Lil Big Man is my fav player this year. They found a player. Now if we get another LB like Kiko and keep Byrd we gonna be excellent on D . They are better coached and its showing big time.
-
He has got better coaching from the DC and the D Backs coach. (Henderson) He always had the talent. Now we seeing the results. He has come a long way and I'm proud of him. Now if he can just not fumble on punt returns....

Fred Jackson's last game at the Ralph?
Bufcomments replied to oman128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No If you get rid of Fred at the end of the year you have to replace him. I think he has 2 good years left. Thanks to C.J. taking some carries off his body. -
If you build it, will they come?
Bufcomments replied to Bronc24's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
simply put, if the Bills were say 9-5 or tied with Miami at 8-6 the Ralph would be sold out for this weeks game. They have to put a better product on the field. The Bills fan base is one of the best in the league. All they have to do is win . The fans will do their part. The organization has to do theirs. -
you play to win the game. Period.

Can Thad Lewis be our Russell Wilson?
Bufcomments replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if he can not fumble the ball as much. But he has taken some brutal hits. He is a young guy without to much experience. But he does have something about him that i like, he does throw a nice deep ball. -
Robey has impressed me the most. Injuries have slowed down both Freddie and CJ. Stevie is having one of THOSE years. Rookie QB, injuries and the Death of his Moms. Effing Tough year. I would say Goodwin is overperforming. Woods is a solid WR. He has been hurt as well. I say the Bills have been hurt by the OC, I really don't see the no huddle helping. Maybe run it here in there during the game. Not all the time, that has to be tough on EJ and the WR's.

Listening to WGR post game is a waste of time
Bufcomments replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I only listen to WGR when John Murphy is on, and I wish he was on during the 3pm -7pm time slot. Snoopy and Bulldung can kiss my entire ass IMO. I don't waste my time on them anymore , ever since they was saying after Losman fumbled during the Jets game when Marshawn was running all over them that the pass play was the right call, they lost me then. -

If he gonna get hurt every time he runs during these games I think he should learn how to stay in the pocket and throw the rock and stop getting hurt all the damn time. -
I'll give you that, but they do have lots of good players on this team. look at what happened Sunday, A. Williams knocks the ball out of the WR's arm's peventing a sure TD. Gilmore making an INT in the end zone late in the game. They had some players that are learning to do it. Maybe what happened in the ATL game really rubbed off on the D. They do need some better talent on the O line to run the ball better. But you can't say they dont have some solids pieces. I say learning how to do it , this is making plays at key moments can be taught, that's on the coaching staff as well. Bellicheat does game situations in practice, what to do in key moments. Tell me that doens't help them in the 4th , when the game is on the line. And look how many games the Pats have won in the last minute this year. I mean yea they have Brady but he sure is getting much help from guys who are 2nd stringers in the WR corps.

This ^ Robey is a baller. I think they call him Lil Big Man. He has been making plays all year. His positives out weigh his negatives. His stat line was awesome Sunday. Wish he was 3 inches taller but he uses his body well for his size. This draft class -free agent class has produced this year. E.J., Goodwin, Robey, Summers, Woods, Kiko, Hughes . That lots of production from those guys. They draft , find free agents this spring like they did this year we gonna be good next year, possible playoffs if it all jells together and we get lucky for once.
