question should have been, what is your fav team when the playoffs start, because the Bills still don't know what it takes to get there lol -
What is your second favorite NFL team?
Bufcomments replied to BuffalothruMyVeins's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a Soft spot for the San Diego.....SuperChargers.... I did my military time out there and Went to a number of games ,while I was living out there. Plus they have THE baddest throwback unis EVER. Plus they have the finest Cheerleaders in have seen anywhere. -
Here are some changes I would make for the up coming season. Some are radical but bear with me. 1. Make Fred the number one back. Period. None of this time share with CJ.. None of this coming out when I want to business. If the Bills want to make the playoffs next year. The better ride Fred. He got another 2 yrs left I believe. He is a much better running back when he get between 17 -25 carries a game. So make it an 80-20 split between him and C.J. 2. Make C.J. more WR than RB. Yes WR. He can't seem to find space to run threw so put him in space to start. Bring him back on some reverses and quick out, slants to him. This is maybe the best way to use him. 3.Let Stevie compliment Woods. Am I'm saying make Woods the number one WR?? Yep. Move Stevie in motion on almost every pass play. 4. Hire a QB coach. E.J. needs coaching up. Badly. 5. Throw deep to Goodwin at least 3 or 4 times a GAME. 6. Throw to Chandler less, throw to C.J. more., alot more, as in at least 50 catches. 7. Give E.J. every snap you can in the preseason. Thad can be my backup . We at least know what he can do and its pretty good , for a backup. Let E.J. earn it the hard way. 8. I think we can move the chains with the players we have. But adding a beast WR in the draft would make things even better . 9. Drafting a RB would not be a bad idea after the 4th round. 10 Drafting 2 guards in the draft, or 1 from the draft / Free Agent that can start right now. Thoughts?

Who remembers the blizzard of '77 ?
Bufcomments replied to billsfan_34's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I was 13, living in East Side with my Parents and younger brother. My pops got stranded, but lucky for us he got stuck in the supermarket on the way home. Think he had some time to shop because he had a van full of groceries when he did get home. About 4 weeks worth of food. We was straight for the whole time. We had 2 weeks off from school. My Mom had cabin fever bad. My brother and I drove her crazy I guess. We lost power for a half a day. That was not a good day. The Winds I think were way worse than this storm. It made the snow drifts hard, very hard to shovel. Thing I remember the most was a snow drift that the snow was as high as the garage roof top. Since our driveway slopped down hill it made for a natural ski slope. My brother and I spent hours sliding down from the top of the garage to the middle of the street. That was until we had to shovel the driveway. And the snow didn't melt completely from are back yard until late April, that was a very cold winter all the way Nov- April. -
Hot for Teacher: Williamsville edition
Bufcomments replied to BarkLessWagMore's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Wow... I think teachers should get paid but a middle school art?? That much? No wonder taxes are so high in Williamsville. -
Offensive regression with more talent and no Chan
Bufcomments replied to Grondre Reed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I already consider Thad better than Fitz Woods is already better than Nelson. Goodwin is a good player but better than Nelson?. I still wish the Bills should have keep Nelson. Since the Bills didnt want to hit that "Blount" the last game I dont think outside of pass rushing has improved against the run all that much. -
Wow draft is soooo late. Less time for rookies to learn the system. To me its not good.

oh yea....Jane can get it. And she got money too?...sign me up lol

Would the Bills trade up to get Watkins?

Moulds was a beast at 6'2 " 225 I would like a WR 6'4- 6'5 Eric Moulds clone. If he's out there. -

I dont think they have to trade up to get him if they want him. But's it way to early for this, talk to me after the free agents make they moves, then we shall discuss this. -
Kiko was neutralized by the Pats
Bufcomments replied to Jkgobills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It did look like he wore down, plus he hurt his knee late in the season. I think in a perfect world he would be an WLB. But he will have a "pro" off-season to bulk up a tad. -
with his money he prolly on Coronado as well. Man I miss San Diego, did my military time out there... But I agree Rhinehart was the one we should have gave some money to.
-
Lori.... She was the reason I even signed up on this board and was kinda sad when she left. But I understood why. It was shaky for a while with all the attacks and stupid posts.
-
To me Byrd has proven himself. Pay the Man. Keep the D together. Maybe overpay him a tad . Not crazy overpay but overpay him. He's a good guy, straight off the field, a pro-bowler on it. What more do you want?
-
I would lose faith in the Bills organization if they get rid of Thad. A Backup QB needs to come in win some games if needed. Well Thad has done just that. His only thing is fumbles. He needs to handle that. I still want them to draft a QB . But I like what Thad has done this year.

Who are you ready to see go?
Bufcomments replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To the people who want Stevie gone... Remember he just lost his Mom, even played the day After it happened when he DIDNT have to. Same guy that most DB's in the league cant cover. Same guy the plays hurt All the time. If it wasn't for injuries, death, and shaky QB play he, not Chandler, would have been the leading WR on the team. But yet you want to get rid of him, just like yall run Beast Mode out of town. You don't get better by creating more holes on the roster. You just don't. BTW, I voted for Graham, nice speed but he fights to catch the ball. Not Good. -
What batch of kool-aid will Russ whip up next?
Bufcomments replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Russ can get out of the Toronto series AND draft another QB, TE, and run stuffing LB....... I'll take my koolaid with extra sugar and ice please... -
You saved your best post for last Bill. I see Thad getting better every time out. No INT's. He missed some passes and that one to Graham where he jumped maybe a bit strong but still he should have made the catch. I like Thad tho. Thad I think has earned the backup job. They can still draft a QB just in case EJ doesn't work out. But they gonna give EJ some more time. Thad is in a good place with me. Dareus is in the doghouse. For sure. We will see how that shakes out but its a concern now. I know what we went though with Beast Mode but I still would prefer him over Spiller. I like C.J. tho, he gonna get better with better blocking. Which leads me too.we HAVE to upgrade the line . And the run D was pitiful today.

Lions coach is toast for sure.

Lewis to start / Manuel out
Bufcomments replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This board is gonna explode if Thad wins the game. But I think the Bills STILL should draft a QB. Not early, but I like playing the numbers game until you find one.
