Thing about Marino was his lightning fast release, very hard to defend. True Kelly had the better cast around him. If Miami had a better running game they could have giving the Bills a much harder time.

I would be ok with this as long as it goes towards building a new stadium. I would chip in, I would love to frame something on the wall that says I helped keep the team here. That would be awesome.

ok I'll play along... If Kelly wins all 4 games he would be top 5. I would pick Kelly over Aikman any day of the week. Even with the 3 Bowls Aikman won. Dallas had a bomb squad, they were deep everywhere and I don't think anybody would have beaten them the years they beat us. I would have been happy with just one. But you have to win 4 AFC titles to get to the Super Bowl and they did it 4 years in a row. Think about how great a run that was. nobody has done it since. It still is an amazing thing to me and I'm glad all of us was able to see it happen.

Ofcourse Manuel took it personal , that was a direct shot at him. Did Tim go overboard a tad, maybe... But he just said what lots of people have been saying, Manuel might be injury prone. And I agree about the bringing in more comp and the QB spot. Maybe not with the first round pick but later on in the draft yes take a QB.

also Wade had one of the best defenses in the league the last time we went to the playoffs. I think Wade has plenty of talent to work with again if this happens. Would not be surprised if it did happen or at least being discussed about at OBD.

All I know is last time the Bills made the playoffs Wade was on the sideline. Enough for me right there.

OK say Fred has one very good year left. I would at the very least see if if he can carry the load. Fred deserves one season as the Man. He has proved to me over and over he is the better back. But Spiller has to have plays just for him. Chan figured it out. So what he only gets 20-25 plays a game. What if you hit 2 TD's of those 25? Spiller still very important. I would even think about him returning Punts and save McLovin just for D.

Say there on average 70 plays a game on Offense? if that many. You could have C.J. in the slot. I'd say about 25- 30 plays. And You don't have to start him in the slot position. He could be lined up with Fred in the backfield, then motion him out to the slot. This way you have Freddie , C.J. , Stevie, Woods and Goodwin on the field at the same time. Goodwin can take the top of the D, and the D has to respect the run with Fred back there. Somebody will get open. Either Deep, quick out to CJ or Woods or Stevie midrange. As a matter of fact you can create a whole bunch of plays just out of these group of guys on the field. Like I said , you can move the chains with just these guys on offence, its all about how you use them. And I would not run the no-huddle every series. I think 2 more years, he should retire a Bill. Look how many TD's he scored and almost gained 1000 yds playing with bad ribs and a bad knee. Fred is major talent, major. What I mean is... don't really know if he has earned the respect of the coaching staff as far as opening up the playbook. That what I mean by let him earn it. Open it up and lets see if the kid can handle it. They are not going to draft a QB round one but I would like to see the draft one on day 2.
