After reading the Graham article its pretty obvious we're outgunned in a battle of brains with Belichick and Adams. I was struck by the winning percentage going down every time you blow a timeout, which we do regularly.

Crap I cant wait to re-live it. 13-3 in back to back seasons.....seems almost unreal now. Yes Virginia there was a time where you could puff your chest out and be cocky as a Bills fan. The one thing I miss about those teams compared to the new century Bills is they had so many playmakers. Kelly and wrs like Reed, Lofton, Beebe, 2 good TEs in Mckellar and Metzelaars, freak good RBs in Thurman and Davis, a good OL. Bruce, Bennett, Talley, Hanson, Odomes, Henry Jones. Those guys made plays, not excuses.

Rex needs to decide in his supposed last tenure as a HC, does he want the be the goofy, loosey-goosey buddy to his players or a serious NFL coach, because so far it's been amateur hour. This team is not being coached up.

The refs are llike baseball years ago. The phantom step on 2nd base on a double play, the strike zone gradually moved lower and outside to where it became a joke. The catch rule has never been the same since Megatron got robbed on that EZ touchdown. Im over 50, and can easily say I like what was called a catch when i was younger. Now nobody can really explain it to you where it makes sense. And you cant have different rules for different players. This QB will get the roughing call this QB wont, this DB with get the PI while another with a better rep wont. With only 16 games some of these calls can be season altering.

Its really starting to get mind blowing how this organization can't even make a last wild card berth.....for 16 friggin years. This in a league designed for parity and the Bills usually drafting high. I mean it's a total organizational effort. we are the kryptonite to anything clutch. From bad coaching hires, to bad GM hires, to bad scouting, bad drafting, GM and coaches not working properly together, to the players on the field. Sure you get teased with a brief glimpse of good play, but you get a helluva a lot more of WTF play and watch must win games get blown year after year. 1. Mularkey, Greggo, Jauron, Chan and now Rex.....nuff said. 2. Donohoe, Marv, Brandon. Nix and the jury is out on Whaley 3. Mike Williams, Maybin, EJ, JP, drafting Spiller when you had Marshawn and Fred, etc 4. We either have one side of the ball that is decent and one side that is terrible, some years both are terrible, but we never get both being good. 5. Lastly to the players and someone should write a book to chronicle the anti-clutch 21st century Bills. You know the horror stories-JPs rollout---Leodis's fumble on MNF with game just about won,...the Dallas MNF onside kick/50 yards FGs, the loss to the Jets despite the Jets giving us a zillion penalties, the Stevie drop in OT against the Steelers, Tuels goalline pick 6, the drops against Atlanta in Toronto,...the Cleveland loss giving up less than 20 yards passing....dumb penalties and on and on. I was watching the game and this was just typical Bills football. Carpenter missing the XP, Robey hesitating on potential pick 6, Darby missing another. You get a half of Watkins then goose egg, you get a half of Tyrod then 55 yards in the 2nd half, no pass rush, the corners you think are great get shredded by Alex I dont like to throw downfield Smith. The D gives up a hundred to a 3rd string RB running behind a 2nd string line. It was same crap, different year. Its like instead of next man up.....with the Bills its next man up to wear the goat horns. The consistency though is truly amazing. Its twilight zone x ground hog day on steroids. Anyone know how many times Bill Murray woke up that movie? Maybe we have to do it more than him.

55 yards in the second half is not good. Needs to make up his mind quicker to run, improve his pocket awareness. Not great on progressions in his reads, can float the ball instead of firing it. Im not sold on him as a long term answer.

I hope Sully doesnt write anything negative or the unicorn and rainbow crew will get their panties in a bunch.

No team is completely healthy after 10 weeks, the Pats will be without Edelman and Collins. Injuries are no excuse. The Steelers have won games with Vick And Landry Jones starting. Good teams rise above it, bad team make excuses.

I like when Shady turns it up field and hits it....seen more of that lately than trying to just race to the outside.

This win combined with a few rum and cokes feels very good.
