  1. The smart move post Marrone was to go with an offensive coach, the D was solid. It's hopefully a mistake the Pegula's learn from.
  2. No I wouldnt. I dont understand the need to have that contract on the table before the season started. Personally I think Tyrod's options if he didnt sign with the Bills after this season we're extremely limited. Who would sign him for big money? These are teams I would have a no; Pats, Dolphins, Steelers, Bengals, Ravens, Browns(they will draft one), Jags, Colts, Titans, Texans, Chiefs, Chargers, Raiders, Broncos(they have Lynch too), In the NFC no's----Giants, Cowboys, Eagles, Falcons, Saints, Tampa, Panthers, Packers, Lions, Vikings, Seahawks, Cardinals, Rams. So the possiblities could be Redskins(do they move on from Cousins?, Jets(but I dont see it), 49ers maybe.....Plus does Tyrod want to start again with a new team? Seems like we were bidding against ourselves to me. Not like the Jets are paying Fitzy 18 million. I just think Tyrods options and leverage going into the offseason in 2017 are limited, especially when you factor in 3 or more QBs going into the first round next year.
  3. Rob has really brought that NO D knowledge to the Bills...That was at the home opener on national TV and we were retiring Bruce's number. ....and Rex's D made Fitzy look like Big Ben......its downhill from here folks
  4. Let someone over pay him ala Byrd
  5. I look forward to the we are mathematically still alive posts but this year in week 6.
  6. Here's an idea Russ....let Rex out of the building and then follow suit. Then after you goes trader Dougie.....
  7. Gilmore non starting probowl CB I think Ill pass on 10 million a year for that
  8. There are just NFL caliber throws that Tyrod does not possess.
  9. We really dont have to....we just know our lying eyes....after years of watching football......are certain who have isnt going to get it done in the long run. So yes.....I will see whats behind door no. 2.. I dont have a decade of Tyrod in me.
  10. We should be so lucky.....
  11. It truly was special knowing you had the best player at his position. in the league on your team.
  12. I think he's saying both. First round picks have higher salaries than lower picks.....we spent a lot of first round picks and money on rbs. It's not a cop out it's a fact.
  13. What a cascading cluster..............pick led to the trade of beastmode and in return we got Chris Hairston and Tank Cardner. Thats the some Buddy Nix football man genius for ya.
  14. Are we last in that time span? Is anybody worse? Thats gonna be hard to beat, 1 a year especially thinking about how many times we were behind and had to throw. Think garbage time stats.
  15. Im with you Gungy 1. This team has no synergy from the top of the organization to the GM to the coaches. The hiring of Rex is the perfect example and it reflects on the new ownership, just like under Wilson. You had a top 5 defense that didnt need changing and we hire a guy who's going to change it and we fall down the defensive standings. The smart move would of been to hire an offensive guy to groom Tyrod and improve EJ and who retains Shwartz. Same thing prior with getting CJ when he had Marshawn and FJ, then we trade Marshawn for a bunch of crap and Lynch will most likely be in the HOF someday---thats Bills brilliant. 2. Whaley to me is in over his head. The trade up for Sammy in one of the deepest WR drafts in years was beyond stupid. He was right there with Buddy and drafted EJ, a guy who should of never had been selected in round 1. Whaley rarely lets the draft come to him. Doesnt seem like he has a plan B or C just is locked in on certain guys and gets reckless with trading away picks. I say this a lot, but Im down here in PA with rabid Steeler fans when do they trade away next years no.1 or make moves like this. 3. I'll stay on Whaley. Anybody care to look at our WR depth next year---not pretty. He way overpaid for Clay who is decent but not elite but make's top tier TE money. 4. I know we have the 10 million buyout for Taylor if he doesnt show more this year but still, if Im Pegula did we really need to drop that contract on him? If he performed decent this year would there really be that many teams clamoring for him? And I dont like giving away 10 mill on next years cap if we let him walk. To me we have seen so much horrible Qb play over the years that we over reacted with that contract, especially for guy who yes throws a nice deep ball but is not even good at seeing the whole field and spreading the ball around, 5. We have a mobile Taylor but Roman cant run a zone read option for him to run like Wilson. We have to hold our breath that he will get hurt if he took off around the end. Somehow Taylor cant take off and get down like Russell Wilson 6. Sammy Watkins.....he's good but he seems like a thoroughbred, gets nicked easily. He couldnt handle the targets of truly elite WR like Julio or Antonio and stay healthy. Doesnt have the physicality of people like Dez or OBJ, never really see catches in traffic and I have never really seen the bubble screen taken to the house that he could do in college. 7. Seems like there no margin for error with Rex and Roman, were not going to be high flying offense, were not elite on the D side of the ball Then throw in Rex's clock management, undisciplined teams and Romans sloth speed getting the plays in and you get plenty of self inflicted errors. 8. Its just so friggin frustrating to give Marcel that contract then he does the dumb crap, Karlos eating his way off the team, giving Cordy the big contract, now he looks like he will be less than 100% all year, the surgery with Lawson(that many people predicted during the draft), the ACL to Ragland and on it goes. I know how this season ends and it aint going to be great. Pegula needs to be ready to axe Rex and his staff and move on from Whaley. They arent getting it done and they never will. I agree with Billsvet and Brandon should never be involved in any football decision, stick to marketing. I hear the continuity arguments, I get it, but I dont see any of the coaches we let go have great success as a HC of another team. Rex just isnt HC material. It would be tough to take another turnover in coaching staff and front office but it needs to be done. We're Bills fans,.....the grunts on the NFL, we can take anything, but boy it gets tougher and tougher and Im getting older.
  16. Anybody with any sense knows this team isnt challenging for the division title, even with Brady suspended 4 games. The best case scenario is a wild card berth, and this loss is a conference loss and it hurts any playoff chances some people may of thought we had.
  17. Totally agree with you. Slants, hitting receivers on the move for YAC, 300 or more yard passing games, utilizing a slot receiver these are all things our offense cant do. Then you have a supposedly mobile QB and we dont incorporate any zone read running plays. This offense is at/near the bottom of the league.
  18. He was consistently 5 yards past the sideline.
  19. Aaron Rodgers isnt coming to save the day.
  20. My 2 cents 1. The horrendous clock management again was troubling 2. RBs need to stop trying to bounce every play outside 3. CBs gave too many soft cushions 4. OL was pretty bad 5. No deepshots enough said about that. 6. The receiving corp is Watkins, Woods and a TJ Graham clone, late round draft choices and street FAs....depth is terrible 7. Romans game plan was about as bad as you can do. 8. Rex has 15 games left in his career as head HC
  21. Please carry on.......I hope Sully can write about all the good things we did today.
  22. It was getting out of hand especially this year....
  23. We just gotta go 10-5 in our next 15 to prove the playoffs this year people right.....good luck with that one.
  24. The 0-0-0 stat line with no targets........hes awesome.
  25. I cannot do 5-6 years of TT, thank god for that out.
