Over the cap has the savings at 7.2 million with 1.75 mill in dead money if we cut him in 2020, not sure about the post June 1st cut that option never seems to work on that site.

For sure A, not often a QB goes no INT and no sacks. -
Where does the 10th win come from?

This Dolphins game is actually pretty scary when you think about what you said. It wouldn't just be losing to Fitzy, it would be losing to Fitzy on a team with the worst offensive talent in the league. -

Lee Smith should have a negative stat line. -
The Chiefs can hang with anyone in the league, just a matter if their D can stop anybody. But i dont think any D can really shut their O down with Mahomes starting.

This team is still a year away

This times a hundred. It's what makes me liken this regime to the last. Always force the draft, only seem to have a few guys targeted especially in the early rounds, they panic and give away valuable assets especially for a team that was rebuilding and could have used all those assets(draft picks), notice Ozzie didnt panic, in fact he moved down and gained picks. -

I fully expect Beane to sign AP next year or Jim Brown, hes really rested. -
Do you wonder about Beane's drafting?

Ive been watching too much Steeler football since I left Buffalo i guess. -
Polian was great and took 3 different teams to 7 superbowls and was voted NFL executive of the year 6 times. He has since said he was wrong about Jackson which about half this board could never admit. Levy was overrated.

OK Ill take a shot at cap management and FA signings. Add up the money hes spent on Star(50 million, 25 guaranteed)., Trent Murphy 22 million--10 guaranteed, a DE on pace for 2 sacks), , Kroft (18 million--9 million guaranteed, a complete turd)--, extending Hughes(20 million plus---19 million guaranteed , a DE on pace for 5 sacks, production steadily falling), and Hauschka 8 million, cant hit from 50 and make percentage falling. Brown and Beasley were OK signings, and signed some line help, including Morse to a big contract. If I was grading that it wouldn't be an A. Now sure before anyone jumps down my throat and says these guys wont see all that money, well thats true, Hughes will see most of his. But the point remains that he's spent a decent chunk of Terry's money on people whose production doesn't match their contract. No doubt his predecessor Whaley was no capologist and he had some bad contracts.. -

Oh dont worry next year the excuses will be 1. What did you expect our schedule is much tougher this year. 2. You cant expect much from a first year receiver because he's just a rookie, it will take time. 3. Josh is technically only in year 2 because he missed some games, he hasnt had 32 full games of experience. 4. If Daboll goes, what do you expect everyone is learning a new offense. 4. If we sign some FAs on offense, its just their first year together it will take some years for them to develop together. I could go and on. -

At this rate he should equal KW in sacks in year 96. -

I'll be taking plenty of crap down here if the Steelers beat us. Not feeling good about that game right now and thats with their backup QB. -

I'm saying I dont see much elite there. Hell I bet a lot draft picks show flashes. I just have higher standards than showing flashes. And with Edmunds I see a MLB on a D that gets gashed in the running game. -

To the posters thinking he's drafted well, I would ask this.....anybody from that list make any probowls? how about an all rookie team? Anybody on that list making a probowl next year? and I'm not talking about 3rd alternate after people drop out? 7 of those picks he used were top 65 and 2 were top 10. Sheesh you have to have some standards, and too many on this board have none, just a lot of excuses and tomorrow is just a day away. -
Taking this from the front page tweet from Bills Daily----do you wonder about Beane's drafting? Think it's a good discussion. Trades/PIcks for Allen, Edmunds, Ford, Oliver, Knox and a 5th(Edmunds trade) and for that we used a 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 4 , 4 and a 5th (10 picks total). Starting to think of the Who lyric, meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Been saying this for years......team lacks play makers. Its what separates good teams from mediocre teams. Think the Stevie drop against Pitts, the onsides Monday night meltdown against Dallas, McKelvin, Chandler drop in Toronto, small ball aerial attack with Tyrod, and you can go on and on. Its anti-clutch and anti-player maker. You watched the games and just waited for it to happen and you knew it was coming. How often have you seen one of our WRs or TEs make contested catches or the QB even giving them that opportunity. Brown and Beasley are 2s and 3s but nowhere near no.1 receivers. The TEs you have penalty machine Smith, absolute 7 million nothing burger in Eifert, Dawson just OK, and Sweeney. The D is good but has no rush(sacks) and doesnt generate turnovers. Polian was a great GM, his record speaks for itself. Lucky,? McD could of had Mahommes fall in his lap traded out, Beane passed on LJ----hows that working out people who were saying just dont draft Lamar Jackson. Dude looks like a play maker to me. Let me know how confident you are that Josh will out duel him at home? How much did we give up for Allen and Edmunds? The SB teams had play makers, until you get them you're just treading water.
