Yes Dareus is the real deal in 2011, but any fan, even without a southern drawl and a "football man" adjective, could of made that pick. Tell me Buddy, how do you like your young recievers now? If it's hard to get people to come to Buffalo, why do you pass on Gronkowski and Mike Williams, two local products in the draft? Trading 1s for 4s. Yes let's resign Fitz at the height of his negotiation strength(Jauron part 2) to watch him put up Trent Edwards numbers since. Great now were locked into Fitz for years to come. Lets extend KW, a probowl ALTERNATE, even though hes under contract and not going anywhere. Lets not show Freddie the money but we will show Kelsay the money. Lets have a ton invested in 2 DT's even though the team stated they want to run a 3-4. More gimmick flyers but instead of 1 year of TO we going to have 2 and half years and 10 million plus into Merriman and his chronic achilles. It's just the same crap year after year after year.

Well were 1-4 over the last 5 games, I'd say the only team worse in that stretch is the Colts.

How you cannot fix a defense over several years is amazing even with the addition of Dareus. Runningbacks are consistently 5 yards through the line of scrimmage before the linebackers fill. The lineman get blown out creating gaping holes. Other than the Redskins game there is zero pass rush. The corners are lost, never have an idea when the ball is coming. Edwards coaches a passive D, they're never up pressing, stuffing, just always back on their heels. Oh and thank god the front office as usual negotiates re-extensions when the player/coach is at the highest position(see Jauron, Fitz and KW), though the last one baffles me since he was under contract for several years. Its a usual bills season, a brief period of good play followed by consistent stretches of suckitude. Lastly, Nix is an overrated GM, has brought nothing to this team, anybody could of made the 3rd pick with Dareus. The players who do make plays were already here before he came FJ, GW. His additions largely have been misses like Spiller, Troup, Merriman, Brad Smith(anybody care to add up that payroll as a total percentage of the cap?). Oh well, time to start spending more time on draftek and great blue north because our draft position is improving with each week.

Shotty jr is a lousy offensive coordinator, Sanchez has always been overrated, Greene is a lousy RB and now the defense can stop the run. Luckily Rex still has his wife's feet to comfort him.
