Go back and look at home many 3rd and longs that Beasley has converted this year. Dirty did great.. but Beasley is also clutch .. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Saturday Night Football: Colts vs Pats thread

Run look just like the TD against the Bills ..Hightower overran the play like Hyde -
Hard to believe the offense and defense had 10 days to plan their attack in the BLO weather and that was the best they could come up with.

Could speed at the receiver helped here a bit? Jet sweep maybe? WR Screen? Middle Screen? Sit your fastest guys and this is what happens

A Few Thoughts about the Colts game, in no particular order
fan_in_tx replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
9 - Dome - This game is the one that broke me in terms of weather. I am over sitting in rain soaked the entire game win or lose. I am over having an offense that is a Ferrari yet they are limited to 35 mph. I could give two sh*ts about old school football I just want to win and the weather limits this teams best strength to do so. Agree with the Dome in Buffalo.. It's the greatest thing here in Dallas... however it will never have a retractable roof.. Cost 1M to open and close it again, from the quotes I have seen at Jerry's World. Can't see the Bills paying that amount of cash to open a sunroof. -
Not sure if It’s coaching , talent , effort, Do youself a favor;

Looks like it had that opportunity here for Taylor to cutback, although it appears Poyer is coming to fill the hole. If he just ran upfield does he get there in time to blow up the play? -
What about targets 2020 vs 2021? Is it possible he is more resourceful in 2021 catching the majority of his targets compared to 2020? Also has Josh had the same amount of time to get Diggs the ball downfield compared to 2020? Many factors add in to total number of catches

On this note we can't set a screen pass to save our lives. Would have worked time and time again yesterday with the pass rush we were seeing but our line can't block lineman nor can they get out and block LB's on a screen.

The Zeke run for a first down last night has to be considered as well.

With all due respect, I believe it was a make up call for the phantom holding call the play before. No holding call then there is no need for Josh to be in that position and throw the pick.

Josh Allen good under pressure, bad when not pressured
fan_in_tx replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't see it listed but what is the data set? Career? 2021? 2020? If career then 2018-2019 may be skewing quite a bit for Mr Allen. -
What happens if Tua Doesn’t Get Hurt?

What happens if Josh Allen goes 32/33 ? Same type of question .. -
Trubisky performing the final kneel-downs?
fan_in_tx replied to BoccesOnTransit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could this have possibly created a QB controversy if Trubisky comes in and starts dropping dimes? Not like we haven't been there before. -
Ben Roethlisberger pre-snap tell run vs pass

From behind the LOS on defense I am not sure it is as easy to pick up a slight heal lift. Bodies in front of you.. Corner would need to make this call and be able to single loud enough for line and backers to notice. -
38,000 at rangers home game the other day... Just sayin

This game showcased Allen's development
fan_in_tx replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you look at his face after that throw you could see his frustration as well. Seemingly asking himself how could he miss that. I have no doubt it will develop simply like the rest of his game has.. -
This is before they extended the upper deck in the endzone with Luxury Suites. Josh Allen could have easily thrown one out of that endzone!

Why didn't McDermott challenge the Davis TD?
fan_in_tx replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wondering if he wanted to work on redzone inside 10 offense. We seem to have a bit of a challenge here in past games getting 6 inside the 10. My assumption is if we were down he would have challenged. Being up thought process may have been to work on some areas we have challenges and see if we can produce 6. Obviously we learned we need more work in this area to score from inside the 5.
