  1. He didn't need to., offense was moving fine. He took a shot previously down the right sideline hit receiver in the hands but yet another drop
  2. I noticed Chris Johnson split out a few times last night and I have seen both Bush and Sproles split out a varioius times this season. That's what you do with dynamic players.anything to give them opportunities to move the ball. This is a copy cat league for all teams except the Bills.
  3. Judge for thy self http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGIru82z-Fw
  4. I still can't believe people make this statement. I put the loss on Andre Reed for the tantrum at the 1, Eric Moulds for fumbling the first play, and if you want to blame Flutie for the fumble, Blame Thurman for not blocking Trace Armstrong first. 21 of 36 for 360 yds 1 td 1 int. He out played Dan Marino in that game Let it go man!
  5. My 2 cents , Spiller gets in the hole almost too quick not giving blocks time to setup. It appears he makes up his mind too early on where he is going instead of just being patient on a block. I have noticed on numerous occasions where he has missed cutback lanes or a trap block has not fully developed before he is trying to get through. Fred reminds me of Thurman a bit where he will get in behind a lineman waiting for the block or crease to form then sneeks through or cuts back. As Spiller gets more carrys and learns patience he will be more effective.
  6. That's because Robey couldn't put his hands together on a sure pick That's because Robey couldn't put his hands together on a sure pick
  7. " but on a final play refs traditionally will let them play unless it's a ridiculous pass interference" Go re-watch 1998 Bills at Patriots, the "just give it to them" game. Still gets me 15 yrs later
  8. You are down to the bottom of the barrel on QB's not sure I would risk an injury to our PS QB on a sneak when Freddy is usually gold for a 1 yard carry. If I recall correctly it was a QB sneek that ended Drew Brees's career in San Deigo... Just sayin
  9. Exactly what I talked to above.. Thanks for posting the Video.
  10. If Ref's call the holding call on Solder on the final play.. Game is over. Not sure if any of you watch but he had his left arm around the DE neck from behind..When Brady let the ball go he let go. Wondering has Bill's D Line had any holding calls against their opponents at all this year? Seems to me Mario and Kyle are held on almost every play.
  11. FACT - Mario and Kyle Williams both get held at least 10 plays per game without a flag.
  12. But Flutie is just a winner. He is way better than Johnson. oops sorry wrong thread.
  13. Mario has already made his bank, he is honoring his commitment. Props to him. Byrd needs to be healthy to showcase to other teams.
  14. Sorry to hear that.. Key word is "In" in my statement above. I have seen a few fights outside of the stadium just not actually inside. Many people tailgate at the stadium and never go inside.
  15. I have not yet seen this happen in cowboy stadium which leaves me to believe one way to stop this behavior is to dramatically raise ticket prices. You would then get a different demographic attending the game.
  16. Take a look at the Safety where the punter ran out of the endzone. There was holding all over the place linemen were tackled. What's the point? Few seconds maybe, maybe someone hits the punter and causes a fumble. Point is throw the flag when you are suppose to throw the flag.
  17. Really? So your point is he sucks but yet good enough to start on a "great 9rs defense". An just so happens to be 3rd in tackles on that team. Your right. He could never make a play for the bills. Maybe cause he was too busy trying to cover everyone else lack,of effort? Typos. Hard to send on iphone.
  18. Hmmm, I seem to recall a recent player who had that fire in his belly. Tried to motivate his teamates with his play and talk. Fans here ran him out of town and now he is playing in the NFC Championship game. Just sayin
  19. per above Btw on 3rd and 1 Bills only ran 68% of the time, successful 77% 68% is more than half the time he ran .. but yes I agree there were some key situations where he did not run.. and probably should have. Additionally how many times did our Oline shoot us in the foot and move a 3rd and short to 3rd and Long or first and long? That is having trust in your O Line coach to fix the issue.
  20. FWIW I'm a Chan Backer.. I thought he was a great leader and put together a great offense. If you actually watched the offensive schemes plays were there to be made just not executed. I think injuries to the WR core hurt Fitz and faith in Wanny led to his demise. FWIW.. Little Donte would have helped this defense much more than the G Wilson this season. Hindsight .
  21. Really?? You use this analogy? "But that doesn't mean you let it affect your job so negatively. It's like when a soldier goes to war, the term is that to a large degree, they have to put their personal life in a box." Let's keep this in perspective and not compare the mindset of our soldiers who's job is to readlly give their life in a moments notice to an NFL Football player who's job is to play a game. I can easily understand if MD questioned the importance of what he is doing and maybe lost a bit of the taste for football after all he has been through regardless of the money he makes. And if he was in the military, knowing that people are really counting on him for life changing events then he may have delt with his grief in a manner that would satisfy your expectations. For me.. I'm glad he is back and playing, but I feel your comparision above is a little much for someone who's job is to play a game.
  22. So who was the better coach at the Q Marty or Norv you ask? Well if you look at their winning percentage over their time in San Deigo, which of course in German means a whales vagina, they are almost exactly the same Marty .588 Norv .582. I tend to think Norv's first 2 years benefited from Marty building the team.
  23. This is exactly what I am seeing. Cincy or pit will have 1 loss as they play each other. And cincy could quite easily lose to both pit and ravens. Both teams have to play dallas who are alot like the early season bills decent o no d. My fear is our season may officially end in 2 weeks against the hawks.
  24. Beat me to it.. .. Lindell just can't make that kick in a dome.
