I know there is speculation on the formula. But I don't think anyone can truly pin point exactly how it works. Who knows which parts get weighed more heavily than others. Maybe Poz's contract out weighs how many people we bring in? I don't know. I really don't think anyone should try to speculate either because it seems like a waste of time. There is no point for a team that is building to bring ANY vet in over 32 yrs old. Unless they are some stud to put us over the top. How are these guys going to learn? By actual STUDYING! The guy doesn't have to be in front of your face to learn from. Pick up a book. Watch some film. Listen to your coaches better, that's what the coaches are for. Hines didn't learn from anybody. Calvin Johnson didn't learn from anybody. Larry Fitzgerald and Boldin didn't learn from anybody. Vincent Jackson didn't learn from anybody. You can make an argument that Randy Moss and Terrell Owens didn't need to learn from Cris Carter and Jerry Rice. These guys were bound to be productive given their skill set anyhow. Stevie is a better receiver in my opinion than Hines. Our young guys can learn from him. The only way I would accept him on the team is if he was a coach.

This would be one of the better under the radar signings that the Bills could make. This guy is awesome when healthy. He would probably be my favorite free agent signing at this point because the SAM LB position is actually not an easy one to fill with a stud. Lawson is a star. Just for perspective... I would rather have Lawson over Avril. And I like Avril best next to Jackson, Bowe and Mario Williams.

I believe that the Bills are on the cusp of something great. But the team has to stay away from injuries and we have to nail this next draft. We are a receiver or two, pass rusher and cb away from greatness. That's what I think. Those all can be filled this year relatively easily.

Nothing naive about it. We support our team just fine. You would be hard pressed to find a time when its fans supported and sold out the stadium for a team that loses ss much as we have in the past decade.
