Kyle Williams was ranked by Profootballfocus as their BEST defensive player in the entire NFL in 2010. He's more than great. We have something special. Dareus = as good, if not better than Suh with out the stats. That's not that far fetched either. This could be the best D-Line the Bills have ever seen as well. The hype is real, they just need to do it now for us to be in these talks legitimately.

Making the roster? I don't know about all of that madness. Maybe. I would love it. But I just don't see it... We have a lot of talent we are going to cut. Who do you keep off the roster for him?

He didn't look that impressive in the pre-season though.

I would say the way he talks about his own health and how he says he feels. I think he only missed one day of camp as well and it was more of like a rest day. I could be mistaken but I thought Gailey said it was his most productive camp in 3 years as well.

Apparently you must not have wanted Merriman on the team at all from the way you are talking. We didn't release him after an injury, we are releasing him DURING his most productive off-season in 3 years. I'm not saying it isn't probably the wisest decision Gailey and Nix need to make. The only thing I am saying is I would feel better keeping a healthy Merriman.... Stop talking like a teenager. It's annoying.

It hasn't been tweaked positionally yet. The only change has been Merriman taken off. For instance. We all know Delano Howell is ahead of Nesbitt for sure.

I think this move throws a big wrench in to Chan Gailey's 53 man roster philosophy. Now this should really send a message to all of us that nobody is safe. It's almost hypocritical of Gailey to talk Merriman up, put him ahead of Eddins, Moore and Ferguson on the depth chart and then go ahead and cut him? This truly doesn't make sense and I can't wait to hear from Gailey/Nix today about this. WE NEED ANSWERS MISTERS!

I guess kind of so. What I'm saying is is that it could go either way. He could get interest from teams if they trust his surgery went well. Or it could be less based on how much interest he received from teams last time he was released. I suppose contradictions happen everywhere don't they... Thus is the world of the uninformed fan that does not have inside sources.

Come on. Every team in the league understands who Merriman's been the past 3 seasons. No team would trade a pick for him in their right mind. Not many teams gave him attention when WE did 2 seasons ago. He'd be lucky to get the same interest he did 2 years ago. He might now because he actually had the surgery. Plus this gives him the chance to sign on with anybody he chooses.
