The take away from this is; there has been a massive paradigm shift. if Pick your head up and look around, the Democratic Party is the party of big business in 2023, and the calculus going on in the board rooms is you must prioritize favor with the levers of power. Big pharma, big tech, Disney, sports monopolies, most big media. They understand institutions like the irs, sec, fbi, Doj, dot, dohs, fcc, etc have inherently liberal ideology and will target the opposition and the checks and balances over the years have eroded with mostly complicit media. The days of republicans being the big business party are long gone, because they are far removed from the federal institutions power levers. If corporations are going to pick a side they have to capitulate to power. This isn’t some virtuous principled revision in position. This is an entity operating in Los Angeles making a business decision.
