Incredible this colluding corrupt doj blew right by all the rampant corruption in broad daylight to investigate trumpys phone call trying to dig up the dirt on the actual corruption… it’s like when you catch your child doing something they shouldn’t texting or social media and they take the position the real crime was you looking at their stuff… 😂

I’d bet both of these guys have some felonious behavior in their past in some way shape or form…. It’s hard to imagine anyone getting that rich, that famous or that powerful without skeletons. the main difference, and the one that matters, is for one of them this politically motivated DOJ is not going to stop digging, indicting, investigating, charging until they find something that sticks, even then they might not stop. For the other one, the disinterest in probing obvious overt corruption is in itself criminal. it’s plainly obvious to anyone with a shred of pattern recognition what’s going on here. -

Slippery slope there. So Biden student loans forgiveness was endorsing an invalid legal theory too. How do you pick which over reach is the right or wrong one. overreach certainly should be reason not to vote for someone, but barring one from running for election based on criteria outside of the constitution is tricky business and wrought with potential detriment to the institution itself. irony here is the Republican Party would probably rather trump is disallowed from running again far more than the democrat party. Not kind of, it IS the point. You can’t have a nearly successful insurrection if the thing the insurrectionists were thinking they were doing wasn’t actually going to succeed legally in any case. -

Who’s defending anything?? The very simple argument is no matter what orange man said, pence didn’t have legal constitutional authority to overturn election… so all this handwringing about a nearly successful insurrection is laughably naive and frankly quite funny…. So much fear in the hearts of the easily manipulated. -

it was a BS argument and Pence knew he had no constitutional authority to overturn anything. You don’t think this would’ve been a problem in 250 years if standing vp could change election? come on guys stop being so gullible… 😂 -

Nothing- pence’s role in election certification is purely symbolic. The theory he could do anything to change the outcome was total nonsense -
