Must be inflaming the LibDe’s while pleasing the maga’s. And the excuse is they are too busy?? —— And another one. This issue I find particularly irritating and personal. I expected him to live up to this . Now backpedaling per AP. https://apnews.com/article/6de489a8be366b836067a6acd8528912

Trump Impeachment 2.0
Over 29 years of fanhood replied to BillStime's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
As the officer I know said, “at least now we know what it takes for democrats to start suddenly caring about cops getting killed and Republicans to stop talking about law and order.” you are right about the fact most of the deaths were the insurrectionist (so self inflicted) but there were a number of officers brutally assaulted and one killed according to numerous reports. -

Just like there is a big difference between dying for a movement and being killed by a movement. Same goes for stupidity.. I do hope they convict, hell I hope they put him in jail. And then I hope they apply the same standard to any and every politician that ever has or ever does incite/condone/advocate or support any kind of domestic violence ever again. if they make that the bipartisan standard, it’s an improvement to the country. -

you can do whatever you want with your maga love/hate... you all look the same. but to add some facts here, as of 1/26, 150 charged, many facing significant jail time including potential murder charges. FBI has sieved capital hill atm records, tracing and question of cell phones on network, capturing video evidence. a former president was impeached again and may be retroactively convicted after getting fired from office of inciting and insurrection or at worst acquitted by a minority and disgraced. But keep buying the narrative they all got off. Oh I see so those murderers were justified. I see. Brilliant. Probably exactly what your maga counterparts would say. You’re all the same. -

That tweet, is a very valid question, however to your rather inhuman tone deaf retort, You think those that lost loved ones or businesses they spent their life building would agree with you? -

I know... but I feel like it’s perpetually getting worse. Like a bunch of rich spoiled brats fighting to steer the ship while it’s sinking. My wife and I have worked our tails off for 40+ years and I pick up my head, look around and feel like we are leaving our kids a worse country than when we got our start. most of these folks do it for the power. I believe that is the number one fundamental problem, they type of personalities that the power attracts. There are probably more sociopaths in politics than prison. im surprised more people don’t vilify both parties for having these political lifers that a multi-multimillionaires from public service jobs. -

It really is incredible how sleazy, contentious and hateful the primaries are, then after they get done tearing each other apart, stabbing each other in the back, undercutting and attacking each other, they reunite with big glorious smiles. What a gross business. -

Just watch and wait... I’m extrapolating, maybe... but As a really disgusted agnostic (ever since I lived abroad 20 years ago and saw the us from the outside) I watch the mouthpieces from both sides and see the spin. Impeachment managers are by most impartial accounts acting professionally and just trying to prosecute the case, it’s not them. they don’t form the national agenda or narrative at large. Watch for the rhetoric as it emerges from the party leaders, and their sides pandering media. Heck half the board here thinks anyone who reluctantly chose the deplorable R ticket because they can’t stand the Democratic policies even more are fascists etc. Republicans think Democrats who voted for Biden want communism.. both parties political debate, (as seen with many here who refuse to try and educate them selves, see the issues through the spin and propaganda machine) it is simply if you have a different opinion than mine you are scum. -

Anyone who can’t see the political theatre side to all this is blind. Democrats don’t care about anything other than a side show as many have pointed out to fragment the opposition party and consolidate power. It’s not about right and wrong. It’s about keeping the boogey man front and center of their base as long as possible and distract the moderates from some of the more leftist policy (if your a moderate Democrat, or just moderate have a look at the covid relief package details and some EOs) they are pushing in the background which are not hitting press headlines. Their other agenda is to brand all non democrats as insurrectionist supporters and fascists. that said, the legal arguments/smoking gun they believe they have, as I understand, is based on an argument “if not but for” orange scourges ridiculous behavior, repeated lies and fallacious claims, and encouraging a crowd to “go to the capital” and “fight like hell or lose your country” the protest would not have turned into a violent raid of the capital. (It’s a fact All those things happened, the legal challenge is to PROVE that is actually what led to the crazies rioting or was it happening anyway) If he didn’t do any of those things (which he did for month btw), would it have still happened? I feel like most rational people believe it would not have. Any Republican who says it certainly still would have happened is flat out lying. I expect the thing that will give enough doubt to hide behind for some, is nuisances in some of the inflammatory speech relative to the timeline, ones own wacko conspiracy belief, disgusting party lines, and of course if it’s argued successfully that no specific actual words to ‘raid the capital’ or ‘commit acts of violence’... meant that it couldn’t have been inferred. I wish they would have unanimously censured him so he could never reasonably run again, and then let civil and corruption lawsuits and charges etc dismantle his sad remaining miserable tweetless life. That would be a step towards recovering the divide... but of course neither party really wants that. -
The comeback in 1993?

I was definitely one of the 400,000 people at the game! or maybe just listened to it on the radio -
right I wasn’t calling it unskilled I guess as much as just that trades are often given a bad rap and I believe anyone that is reasonably motivated and willing to learn can pick up some of these trades and make a great living. But at entry level they still do decently and can grow their own business or through the certification ranks or facilities jobs over time. I agree for the unwilling or unable that are destined for a career of minimum wage at best (I believe the unable to be the smallest contingent btw) there continues to be a decline in employment opportunities, but it is somewhat offset with the explosion in service industry jobs, like Uber, Grubhub, etc)

the unconstitutional argument in my lateness understanding was that impeachment was for removing from office and since that already happened it was unconstitutional. sounds like the counter that swayed the majority is that the precedent of aborting due to electing the incumbent out creates a moral hazard to do bad thing without consequence at the end of the term. makes sense... I just hope it doesn’t turn into a slew golf retroactive impeachments by the majority for the rest of time. Lol!! No one controls Pelosi... no one. Well except her donors and contributors that is... -

people leaving political parties and exercising independent thought is a beautiful thing. Too bad it took what it took. hopefully this movement gains momentum everywhere. -
Dont even need a running game, just take check downs sometimes. Brady thrived off of this some years. me neither, I’d really just like Marshall Faulk. but for me that’s the real bit. Need a RB that can make things happen in the passing game. Every time Devin goes out wide, the universe knows there is no throw coming that way.

Some key takeaways for next year : -Mongo had a really bad game. Was a turnstile - Knox got open often vs man coverage - Josh made some crazy throws into tight windows. Pocket presence is very good except for those 70 yard sacks. With his arm, good scheme, and one or two player upgrades, they can score on anyone. - Beasley and Diggs were bracketed often - for a ‘speed’ guy Brown isn’t separating at all and was a non threat. just don’t see him as a $9wr. - TJY was also open in the pass game and made a spectacular catch and a couple others. Im not sure why he was not used more all year. - Singletary 😔 - teams shouldn’t be able to rush 3 with a d line spy and get pressure that fast. Williams got beat a bunch too. Looked like they speed rush the LDE upfield then he retraces to keep Allen from rolling right. - spaggs front disguises is a similar defense, just seem a lot better - crowd noise next year may cause some regression in the offense.
