  1. yes in most markets, attending live sporting events is a rich person affair.
  2. i don’t even live there anymore and I agree with you. Soaking taxpayers for a new building that generates revenue 10 days a year for entertainment purposes when a perfectly fine one is already there is irresponsible. Homeowners there already pay way too much in state and local taxes.
  3. Oh sorry BillStime close, we were looking for both political parties are what’s wrong with this country. https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-secret-service-intervened-in-hunter-biden-gun-incident-lied-on-background-check-form-report-says I’ll reiterate owning a gun and voting are constitutional rights. As a thought experiment imagine you have to agree to apply the same standard to both, whatever that may be. and voting absolutely has life or death consequences as we’ve all seen administrations send our kids to die while bombing other nations indiscriminately, etc.
  4. Those who refuse to read it are who the political elite refer to as the ‘useful idiots’.
  5. I’ve gone to bars or purchased Sunday ticket and watched almost every game every year since moving from upstate New York in 1998. that’s thousands of dollars over the years for some putrid football.
  6. That politico article seemed like decent impartial journalism. Sort of just explained reality without stoking outrage.
  7. If they nuke the filibuster, imo it’s because they don’t think they will ever lose majority again. Between mindshare of mainstream media, ability to shape relief policy and pandemic lock downs to choke out small business and encourage government dependence, a promise to increase taxes on the non elite working top half of society, a riot ready mob at their beckon call, control of social media content censorship, HR1 to federalize control of elections (this should really be the provision people are talking about, instead of water bottles) and the fact the opposition party power structure is completely broken and still lead figuratively by human scum, it’s the power set up these political elite have been waiting for their whole career.
  8. 12 personnel takes away Beasley in the slot. I’m on board with the idea of more speed at RB, a more versatile outside WR2 and upgrade to knox either in passing or blocking game works. That seems to be what the off-season moves are signaling imo.
  9. This fits here. White man tweets klansman attire to black woman. Seems pretty evil right..? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.the-sun.com/news/2569176/candace-owens-omara-kkk-racism-twitter-democrats/amp/ Where is this in cnn?
  10. Yep. But the unions... they used the leverage to negotiate for things. Right after they announced back to school here they announced a pay raise. Which ok maybe it was owed. Just another example of a political entity exploiting a situation.
  11. Clinton and W are younger than Biden. It’s crazy to think about how long ago they served their terms and how much they’ve declined. There should be a maximum just like there is a minimum. 65 at time of election seems like a good place to start.
  12. That’s my worry, it only takes one juror to think ‘maybe’ and it will be instant anarchy in every city across the country. I did learn today that he attempted a plea that would’ve resulted in a 10 year sentence. It was the first time I’d heard that.
  13. yep, apparently he had an arrest in 2019 that went down almost the same exact way. Was brought to hospital because he was in cardiopulmonary distress with a cocktail of toxicology and shouting for his mom etc. Im really concerned what might happen if charges are reduced in any way. it’s gonna be bad enough if he only gets 10 years.
  14. They’d literally be risking their own life to take this stance.
  15. If the guy is not sentenced to death the country will burn.
  16. Deadly brutal attack on immigrant, but won’t hit MSM and doesn’t fit narrative https://nypost.com/2021/03/27/graphic-video-shows-deadly-uber-eats-carjacking-by-teen-girls/?utm_campaign=iphone_nyp&utm_source=mail_app for those trying to understand why these are being pointed out, it’s the media double standard on what victim perpetrator profiles get visibility and which dont. This one happened in broad daylight. Pakistani immigrant Father of 3. Meanwhile on AP, the top 15 story, two evil men in San Francisco named victor and Christian charged for shouting offensive racist words. https://apnews.com/article/784973f31165c4eada46c65b48e59a1b
  17. That exercise is all about firing and working the stabilizer muscles that are nearly impossible to work any other way. Exercises like that are why his contact balance is so good and he is so durable.
  18. it is; and not even in the way people might think. It sends the message that if you’re white and destitute, these people think you’ll probably figure out how to solve it. that’s what this says, and it’s a cloaked white supremacist way of thinking.
  19. they won. I’ve officially stopped caring. I’ve also stopped using words even have ‘black’ in them that don’t even refer to people like descriptions of widow treatment that block sunlight, or lists in IT that prevent certain ip addresses from being accessible. Also I’ve vowed to never play the soon to be racist game of billiards, or at least be photographed doing so. Can we all agree bowling might be ok?
  20. An icon of corrupt political elites. $140M net worth. Crook
  21. Absolutely. The fundamental fear that underpinned the founding fathers thinking was that powerful central governments equated to the tyranny of the British empire. And thus much of the constitution and the structure of government as outlined was to systematically resist all powerful tyrannical central governments.
  22. I’m definitely not a corrupt politician or ally of one enriching myself stealing from working taxpayers, I mean part of the political class. You may be part of the political class, that would make a lot of sense.
  23. I have a good friend who was losing sleep over the new Trump code because he was reckoning with a decision to repatriate or not with that one time amnesty provision. His conclusion, based on his financial advisor was, if power swings back to democrats he’d want to offshore again because of their anti business agenda, so play the long game. this is a fine example of hidden lost corporate tax revenue because of unfriendly business policy.
  24. Nobody will believe this until democrats break ranks and start saying theses things.
