You make a few nice points here. I’ve listened to Ben as he tends to be what I look for highly intelligent and attempts to build argument with facts. He’s is even more entertaining if you listen to his podcast at 1.5x speed for efficiency. while I disagree with a number of his views. I do like he isn’t R 100% party line, ie, very pro vaccination, liked Yang for NYC. Who would you recommend as a counter podcaster to him, that has opposing view points but argues the liberal perspective in the same

I’m not trying to make anyone anything. Maybe property values have changed in some pockets in the last 3 or 4 years and assessments haven’t caught up yet. My parents paid the same amount of tax on their 150k house in Williamsville that I paid on a 500k house in Rockville. And when I bought my new house here I found the 400k to 700k comp to be the case. But hey, if you love paying more taxes, please do so.

Sorry to you. But idealists need occasional reminders as to why actual socialism fails in the real world because the people who lead productive responsible lives are penalized into subsidizing the unproductive and irresponsible. When the responsible and productive individuals respective quality of life is undermined they flee… hence there are few or no hosts left for the parasites and the socialist ideals are defeated…
