Are your fingers swelling as you type?

Yes the whole deadly insurrection narrative is propaganda. It was a political rally/protest within which a bunch of occupy protesters attempted to impede the business of an institution and idiotically fell into mob violence. Why? Because they collectively believed their voice wasn’t heard. Same escalation we had seen for most of 2020. Those cowering in fear over the amped up supremacist insurrection narrative are kind of silly. My suspicion is liberals thought protesting was only their thing and did not like the trumpers taking a page from the BLM playbook.

Apple might get Sunday Ticket
Over 29 years of fanhood replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it might have more to do with the nfl. Dtv’s exclusivity is hurting their distribution. im positive there are millions upon millions of subscribers that don’t want to commit to dtv but would gladly pay to stream nfl over their internet. And their subscriber base continues to contract. Somehow my account got grandfathered into I can’t have dtv so I can Sunday ticket stream with out dtv like a decade ago. so I’ve kept doing it. I’m sure there are many more who’d do this but their address algorithm seems to have gotten more stringent. Game pass is made for you! Watch the post recorded game without commercials. Rewind as much as you like. I think they improved it to where you can replay within 30 minutes of game conclusion. -
They’re mocking you

The extremists calling for defunding police were republicans? Their alt leftists must be really angry being called something like that… -

Well actually the defunding movement, unquestionably of liberal origin, was targeted at reducing police budgets paid by state and local taxes. I’m pretty sure Biden never supported the movement but plenty of democrats did, and numerous municipalities voted to do so. Are you saying the police departments were so prescient that this Federal money earmarked for state and local government was budgeted already by police departments before the bill was even written… ok sure that adds up -

It is intellectually dishonest, that’s isn’t a liberal or conservative thing though. It’s pervasive political thing unfortunately. The dems just have the benefit of a pandering MSM that goes along for the ride and don’t call them on it, but both sides do this. -

Yeah that’s true too, that’s what makes it a crafty spin. -

The actual funding line item was $350 billion in the 1.9 trillion package for state and local governments that could hypothetically be used for police. All the rest of this is political theater. I give the dems credit, coming up with that spin and selling it is a bold move. -
California (again)

This stuff is pretty wild! California travel ban to states that don’t have same views on LGBTQ+ I have no question there is prejudice, which I thought was progressing nicely to a more accepting society… but why is the physiaoloagical competitive disparity not the center of the discussion? I suppose we could just go to single genderless sports leagues, but I thought the reason for separation of men and women’s sports was because of physiology. https://apnews.com/article/048670c6461032de3cb67154d624ab13 I why is it every last topic is so dam polarized? -
Depends on how much money, it would be less than 10% of the populous I believe. As I’ve said before I’d happily write a personal check for many thousands of dollars if anyone could make a case it would FIX anything at all. Heck I’m almost inclined to support it anyway. 200k per impacted descendent, It’s probably less than $5trillion. Probably works out to 15k per oppressor. and don’t give me any of that graduated BS. You are either a beneficiary of the system or you’re not. Spread payment out over a few years. Recipients sign a social contract that equity is achieved. Society is fixed. If this is a real outcome, why not?

We are in violent agreement. I’ve never disputed there is an obvious real tangible problem. It’s the lazy politicized cause(s) chalked up to some inexorable systemic ghost that I consider counterproductive. The aren’t any easy solutions because the real causes are very complicated I expect once we get there. Also my opinion, and it’s open to be disproved, is not that ‘colorblindness and equality’ don't work and should be dismantled, but rather it’s led to improvement but needs to be further advanced and built upon and integrated into our culture along with other values that tend to lead to better outcomes.

You’re hardly one to lecture with that user name and Native American face painted white guy. That’s at minimum devoid of any virtue whatsoever. you know what else has no meaning. The word Racist… because if everything is nothing is. The difference between the useful idiots shouting racism from the sky and the actual critical thinkers is; stop blaming everything on ‘white man hate Black man’ and the 1800s or even 1900s and start really digging in and understanding these issues so they can be addressed. your politicians are not trying to solve anything. The sooner you wake up to that, the better.

good job, this is a much more scientific conclusive and useful study and reiterates the hole in the other one matters significantly and shows the the other study overstated the disparity by over 100% because they didn’t control for important variables. it also points to prosecutors being the source of the issue, not judges or court who do the sentencing. Aren’t actionable findings so much better than flippant ones? With this data you can then go to the next level of questions. Why are prosecutors more likely to trump up charges racially, does it occur within a prosecutor or do the prosecutors who preside over courts the geographically see more black tried behave differently than court that see more whites tried.

Well and people who think they need to be social justice warriors because their subconscious racism and guilt about it has them believing people of certain skin color can’t achieve things without their help. I’m do not harbor guilt because I do believe in equality and surround my self, friends, coworkers and family with diversity and not any isms. You keep going with your skin color ideologies, some day the rest of you will die off and this will end.
