Crushing people showing patriotism, forcing people into covering their faces, radical intervention and segregation into the classroom, radical punishment for anyone who opposes their views. Taliban is the wokest! https://www.nbcnews.com/video/taliban-opens-fire-on-protesters-raising-afghan-national-flag-118947909601 -

Why is the mouthpiece of the party airing this? It completely deviates from the norm. Is it to distract from nationwide acceleration of Covid again? Are the dems trying to ram through some legislation they want to avoid talking about? are they trying to rebuild an appetite for a re-escalation or to pivot to new theatre? there is clearly an agenda at work here. It’s not clear what it is. -
DeSantis For President in 2024?

It’s coming, order your masks on Amazon now before they are all gone. Definitely a liar hermit… Uh oh, Morris county is already 7x new case rate as last year this time. plan on eating your Tofurkey through a mask. -

They already are a big player behind Chilie and Australia. Not sure how much is in that region and how it changes the landscape. -

was the idea that it was more important to squat on the resources in the ground than exhume them? The resource story is compelling especially with China being so dominant in that market but little was actually mined in all of those years. -

I agree with that bit. If we all just wore those carbon filter masks for 3 weeks would this be over? 1000 a day was a week ago it’s doubled now as it will for the next 12 weeks. That’s where the term viral came from. Delta is R4. you’ll be back to 20-30k cases per day in 3-4 weeks. -

Case rates are already accelerating rapidly in the northeast. The wave that hit the southern states who were all hunkered down inside, out of the heat will continue accelerating through the fall, exactly like last year. Jersey is already 5 tine worst than last year at this time. Winter is coming… rapid tests are useless -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Over 29 years of fanhood replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
New case 7 day average across US with vaccine in hand now 3 times what it was this time last year at this time when the pandemic was the fault of the sitting President. Double standard personified -

Every other state is going to go through this. Except maybe Vermont. They seem to be into vaccination. -

And still twice as safe as New Jersey overall and that’s just as New Jersey seasonality is starting to kick in. Cases there already 5 times what is was this time last year. Good for them. Geeze if they are moved to sign that you better find the recall Phil Murphy one. You get a free ‘save Jersey fire Murphy shirt. -

Sorry about calling you a party. Poor assumption. Trump is just such an overtly awful human being. We need some kind of balance of power restored, but please anyone but him. -

While it’s a fact he’s blown the covid recovery with vaccines in hand, and we about to see everything shut down AGAIN… and all the other crises, there are still a few very powerful overriding forces. 1) extreme and growing mainstream and social media bias and nearly ubiquitous narrative control 2) if they can’t pass HR to federalize elections and Foster ballot harvesting, covid wave X^n may be the ticket. 3) on demand culture war they can ramp up at anytime 4) Trump won’t get out of the way That’s the reality of what you Rs are up against. -

26k vs 40k??? Wow that’s extremely awful for NJ given Florida has nearly 3 times the population and way higher elderly/vulnerable distribution. so twice as likely to be dead from covid if you live in America’s deadliest covid state per Capita. Unbelievable. I’d understand why a resident there would dismiss such a basic standard measure. It doesn’t fit your narrative. -

Yeah like that 43 million dollar gas station or whatever it was. the whole thing just seems impossible, the hasty withdrawal, and overnight collapse. there is only like 4000 troops there, and no combat fatalities in 18 months. we didn’t even finish the gas pipeline to subvert Russian exports. -

Yes that’s my point, the money spent in Afghanistan just doesn’t pass the sniff test to me. Not enough money spent, not enough money coming out. -

I actually find my self hoping so. Because the alternative is they actually believed the propped up regime would stand up to the Taliban just fine on their own. -

The interaction of the tin foil hat and the crazy pills are there to be certain, but I’m positive there is something we are all missing here. The industrial military complex idea while certainly not an ethical or moral stretch, there is just not enough money (at least officially on the books) imo involved for what has been a protracted policing and half hearted infrastructure propping up exercise to justify this as a means to that end. And the enemy was so low tech it justified little. Weve had 13 years since the usgs dubbed the trillions of natural resources in the ground. Other than a couple barreled of oil and some boxite I’m not sure what is coming out. The poppy fields might be something but I don’t know how that turns into inflows. -

Plus he probably didn’t even know he was on vacation or at camp David. He probably thought he was riding a Chattanooga choo choo to Delaware for some vanilla bean ice cream… -
interesting idea but, 1 the Afghanistan war over twenty years amounts to a paltry 5% of the defense budget. Sure there might be some of that enriching defense industry, but why OC such a shotty low tech opponent? Also suggesting Trumpy wanted to bring anyone to camp David is a patent lie. He hated the place, considered it a dump. Not enough gussy gold plated urinals or what ever gets him off. opium, maybe but how does that help our government objectives? Unless the idea was to let the opium export crest cash inflows to finance the country and any infrastructure build we wanted to award? This whole Afghanistan thing is just fascinating. This love to know the real story some day. Now maybe China and Russia will grapple over it for a bit? Assuming we get out finally.

Reportedly Billions of dollars in weapons left behind. the whole thing is so odd, unprofessional and poorly executed. Then “surprise” gotta send thousands of troops back in to the now completely destabilized mess. Commander in chief looks pretty bad on this one, even if you’re normally programmed by their msm. But more they are also giving the republicans their next Benghazi boondoggle. Man it’s a good thing for Joe he wouldn’t know how to set up his own email server even if he wanted to. Hed probably ask the White House chef. I know right he barely able to commander in chief his shoes tied in the morning. Pressing staff and joint command for a robust exit strategy 😂 he probably recommended they use Amtrack! -

I saw footage of a bunch of Afghans clinging to the side of a taxing kc141 Air Force cargo plane. I don’t think it was the plane they were waiting for. Mission accomplished??
