Yes! I was making less than average hhi at the time of the bush cuts and it helped me quite a bit at the time make ends meet. Trump was nearly a wash for me because the SALT cap just shifted where taxes went and but my hhi is a lot different now. My family members closer to average hhi claimed to benefit but I do not know. Also just To make sure we are looking at the entire political spectrum, In 1997, Clinton signed a reduction in the capital gains tax rate to 20% from 28%. Did that help the average person? is that more the type of average Joe tax cut That liberals can get behind?

This is an interesting contest in general. The dem has just been running mostly attack ads saying the other guy is trump and hurt babies. The Repub has been running a campaign mostly geared towards positive family value stuff. Since it seems like VA is a purpleish state it will be interesting to see what happens.

I was thinking what a great metaphor that is for the current American autocracy. An entrenched politician barking down from the aft of a ridiculously oversized yacht in a small river and landlocked state that we need to tax the rich to pay their fair share and help the poor to a bunch of kayakers…. just like AOCs pricey tax the rich dress at the 30k/ticket met gala.

“Believe in” and “weird” are a lot different than “unhealthy” according to “experts”. From what I’ve seen he avoids unnatural food, does a lot of plant based stuff and avoids red meat, processed food and sugar and dairy as well as certain acidic night shade vegetables that lead to inflammation. If you have an expert telling you this is unhealthy you should find a new expert.
