could it be Allen can’t find the cover 2 holes and get the ball there? Does it seem like some of the anticipation throw we saw coming on last year have vanished? Also, if a defense can do a cover2 shell near its end zone because you can’t run, good luck getting touchdowns in the red zone.

Both tackles didn’t look great either. they better come up with some formations and concepts that beat this type of defense or they are going to to lose to every decent front 4 they play.

This isn’t new. Any team with at least 2 guys in their front 4 that can win one on one vs o line, wrecks this offense. Then drop the other 7 into coverage. The Bills should be consistently ripping off 7 yard runs with this look. it’s what Tennessee has done effectively twice now. Jax and Pittsburgh did the same. What’s most disappointing is they seem to allow this coverage to completely remove the best WR in the NFL last year from the game.

Cover two shell is kryptonite for this offense. They allow it to completely marginalize the WRs. As someone who’s watched this offense very closely for years, what’s a quick slant or cross? they just don’t. I don’t know why. Every wr route seems like 4 seconds to the break
