Taunting not called on Hill's TD
Over 29 years of fanhood replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
It would have meant a further xp or kick off? if kick off it would have been worse. Bills would have been closer, maybe score faster…. Who knows how many points they could have scored with 20 seconds? -
Allen declines invitation to play in Pro Bowl
Over 29 years of fanhood replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Love thinking bios have a qb that wants super bowls not pro bowls and considers the latter an inferior superficial pandering .. wonder when he’s going to stop being nice and start getting mad -
One of the biggest changes from liberals that I respected and appreciated in the past versus todays brand of liberals are today, they seem like mostly small minded moths attracted to the flame of whatever leaders tell them and free giveaway types of mantras.. they are programmed sycophantic, and generally unimpressive from an intellectual standpoint. where did the intellectually smart liberals go? On this board you’ve got a racist old guy that secretly loves hitler socialism and a propaganda bot that loses every argument ever to represent the current dems. But it’s lacking smart liberals that can intelligently debate their points to drive real conversation. it it time to try and recruit more intelligent liberal contributors?

Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
Over 29 years of fanhood replied to ghostwriter's topic in The Stadium Wall
a lot of coaches players and fans with Eyeballs disagree on who is better: 2× Pro Bowl (2019, 2020) First team All-ACC (2017) Second team All-ACC (2016) explain why they are all so blind and don’t see the transcendent talent of the overachieving undersized 5th rounder that occasionally makes a play, whiffs on sacks, gets targeted in man pass coverage and get steam rolled in run blocking. This defense needs those two positions to be excellent. Neither are. -
when you get in these close games dissecting every detail and looking for heads is the norm. But… Pete Carroll should have run Lynch, Bill B left rings on the table when he didn’t have an answer for the eagles pass rush or couldn’t run a front that got Eli down. Who has coach a team to the playoffs more times in their first 5 years? I do believe he is furious that he lost and will resolve himself to fix this too. I do worry that all of this is an intersection of coaching, great qb play and roster and injuries and schedule and officiating and and and… Josh is incredible though

I know right ?? Averaging over 41 points in the playoffs is unacceptable.

Should the Bills extend Edmunds?

It’s absolutely confounding how the same people can watch both these guys play at the same time and think one is incredible and the other is replacement level. They are both middling. One is an over achiever and one is an under achiever to but to roughly the same mean. also has anyone noticed when Tremaine is out they don’t move Milano to Mike? What does that tell you?? one is Doug Flutie and one is Rob Johnson.. neither are going to dominate a game when you need it, or make that huge play when it matters. -
One of the nuances I’ve picked up on is talent evaluation isn’t a singular specific notion. They knocked trading up for Josh out of the park when many were screaming bust. Gabe Davis is an absolute gem odd a find. Diggs was totally with the trade. Knox has become a very good player… Singletary has had his moments too. Oliver is inconsistent but can be dominant, Morse was an excellent move and Signing Dawkins… Bates, Brown… there is a lot of good there. That Said game wrecking DEs seems to either be a blind spot or scheme deficiency, but the few DL we let go haven’t exactly lit it up elsewhere. For me, I’ve resisted the conclusion for as long as I could, but this defense needs at least one awesome fast game wrecking end and a one elite game wrecking linebacker. all I wanted this last draft was a trade up for Parsons.

Should the Bills extend Edmunds?

This isn’t a hot take pal. I’ve watched these guys for years. Milano is a very AVERAGE linebacker. People are distorted is how they see he and Tremaine because of how they were drafted. Just look for big plays that lose Bills playoff games and you’ll see plenty of 58. -
Mitch Morse ready to retire?

Good lord it took until late this season to start pulling him for runs and it worked impeccably -
Should the Bills extend Edmunds?

The lack of standards around here is always telling. Milano is not GREAT. He’s often weak at the point of attack and strong physical running teams attack him. He has good instincts and plays decisively but is small, lacks strength and has marginal speed. Tremaine is literally the polar opposite. when Carolina’s D was it’s best with this scheme they had elite Linebackers at both spots. It’s a problem. -
An onside kick in playoff OT

Not a terrible idea they way things are were going. If you get the element of surprise and recover I do you also win with a field goal? -

He’s been good not great. Half the blown plays people who don’t understand the Defense Blame on Edmunds are his missed reads or failure to get off the block. A Great cover linebacker doesn’t get owned by a tight end there in that moment of that game. Milano is good, Tremaine is also good. Neither is great and how they got on the team really doesn’t matter after they are it’s a sunk cost and irrelevant.
