I texted an old college buddy living in Chicago yesterday to check in, who is literally packing as we speak to move hi family out due to 10 people getting shot in front of his local Whole Foods a few weeks ago. This shooting is getting a lot of National attention, but unfortunately shootings are commonplace and accelerating there. Total chaos.

NRA is definitely complicit, but you can’t vilify that organization without putting the glamorization of gun possession on all the entertainment industry as well. When I was a kid playing army in the backyard, it wasn’t the nra making me think guns were cool…. It was Ice T and Dre and Miami Vice, magnum PI. there is a cultural problem.
