  2. OK, I have NO kids so I live life hearing about the people I work with kids. Every parent thinks their kid is the best at everything. BRAG<BRAG<BRAG. Well after hearing about the star who played baseball, basketball and scoccer.(she was all county in all three) She went to college and guess what. She rode the bench. She wanted to quit but she rode the bench. Her school was paid for and she rarely even got in the game. What did her mother say? It was the coaches fault. Good luck. YOU DID THE RIGHT THIG. The little princess has to learn that life does not OWE her playing time. It is earned and rules are rules.
  3. My Mom and older sister left 30 mins ago to bring her home. Her darn cat is driving me crazy. It's all worth it to have her well.
  4. Thanks to all of you. Mary will be let out of the Rochester Hospital Wednesday Tomorrow She will need another surgery in two weeks and then the last one in 5 weeks. Keep her in your prayers but at least she will be with us for the tailgate. I got her 50 yd line seats
  5. Got it Bob and thanks Anyone who wants to PM me with a reasonable check offer to Hunter's Hope for an autographed bear please do. I have a couple bears available first come first gets after the top bidder.
  6. Mary went in for emergency surgery for her gall bladder Tuesday and I was at the booster meeting in Buffalo and spent the evening in the ER with her. They sent her home on Fri around noon. Friday night after I worked the store I just got to bed and Mary called she was in severe pain and they called the Allegany Fire Dept to take her to the hospital. I was in that ER with her from midnight til 7 am. She needed another surgery and had it Sat afternoon but it didn't work. They could not get the tube in. So it was off to Rochester via Trans AM for Mary we followed in my van 82 mph in the dark and rain. It was a stress filled weekend because they didn't do the surgery until Monday They took her from her room at 9 and we never heard a word until 2. She had the operation there and seems to be doing fine. Today Tuesday they will introduce her body to food again. If all goes well she will be home on WED or Thursday. Thank you all.....................Yes the power of prayer works. Randy I hope your Mom is fine and of course I have tons of ????'s but you have your own worries. I love my little Dr friend and you willingness to help me with all medical matters. Too bad you never call and I deleted your # from my cell
  7. We are at Strong Mem. They hope to have her surgery sometime today
  8. OK Let's do this so we can keep it under control and the people who are not serious will not have any idea who bids what. PM me your price that you are willing to pay for the bears. Keep in mind that they will cost at least $25 for the bear and shipping. That is for ones without the autograph. The whole check will go to Hunter's Hope. To get them autographed someone has to stand in line for hours at a signing. I will stand in line and pay the shipping. I will get a few more. The highest bidder gets the one I have for this auction. That pm's me!!!! Sends the Check made out to Hunter's Hope to my home addy and if they want I will make the donation public. Rigth now I'm a little busy with My sister being sick. I take care of this as soon as I can. Thanks for everything
  9. I know many hate when this type post happens but I think it is one of the best things we can do for each other. As some know my sister Mary who has been to 4 tailgates had surgery Tuesday. They sent her home Friday morning and by Friday night at 11:30 she was back at the ER. She had another procedure Saturday afternoon and the Olean DRs were unable to do it so they shipped her off to Rochester. Following the bus with lights on for the trip at 80 mph in the dark, rainy foggy night was proof that I would never be a NASCAR driver. We made the trip alive and Mary is in her bed waiting for the DR to consult prior to another surgery. If you have gall bladder trouble have it out before it is inflamed. She is in extreme pain. We(MOM and my older sister ) have spent most of the last 3 days sleepless in waiting rooms. This hospital has a family room so I can pop on and fill you in. I'm going to try for a nap. Please remember to say a few prayers for crazy Mary. We really want her at the tailgate this year.
  10. I'm cuming APRIL FOOLS I wish I could be there

  12. I bought this years bear $20 and had Jim Kelly autograph it on the foot pad. The bidding will have to start at $20 and all monies will go to Hunter's Hope. They are just having such great successes I want to do more to help. Auction closes Sunday at midnight EST. The winner can mail me the check made out to Hunter's Hope and I'll mail you the bear. Thus you can claim it on your income tax next year.
  13. I'm a #3 Very popular found #2 still hoping for #1
  14. IT"S GONE(the snow) You always melt me.
  15. Well she was having trouble with it for a year and a half. The Dr told her it would have to come out sometime. She put it off because she was so busy with her jobs. The surgery was difficult because the gall bladdder was turning gang green. I told her girlfriend (who insisted on taking her from her night job to the ER, saved her life) Moral of the story - Work will be there your health is important. If someone out there is having aches and pains and putting off going to the DR get your butts to the DR.
  16. I tape it every day.
  17. Mary is out of the surgery and will be just fine.
  18. I like a good ROD and you have to get great action with the bait.
  19. I can't remember what they were called - I guess it is a Hawaii snack treat.
  20. I started watch with the 24 and I think this show sucked almost as much as 2 weeks ago. There are only 3-4 that probably will be recording marketable music.
  21. He is a very nice guy. I'll never suck one of his nuts again. Most awful thing I've ever put in my mouth.
  22. Spot? Isn't that how Clinton got caught. Sorry, lack of sleep. NO, I always think that way.
  23. Sorry I didn't get on the computer last night. After the meeting I listened to the cell phone messages and had to go to the Emergency room because my sister needs emergency gall blader surgery. LONG NIGHT, but I'm here at work waiting to here what time the surgery is. The meeting First speaker was a man who wrote a book about Buffalo's Championship season Pre NFL in the 20's--I did not take notes but it was very interesting to know that they got screwed out of it by George Halas extending the season until his team won. Second speaker was Mark Ghong(SP) the beat writer for the Buffalo paper and he talked about JP and some locker room chatter. The third speaker was a rep from Hunter's Hope. He spoke of all the work and progress they have made in search for a cure. I think the most got out of the meeting was a new respect for Andre Reed. I have some personal issues with Andre because of the way he acted on and off the field. Yes he was a great receiver but he would not run thru the plays if he was not getting the ball and his off field treatment of some fans still bothers me. THE NEW RESPECT for him came from hearing that He along with several of Jim's best friends Bruce, Thurman etc. gave part and sometimes all of their signing bonus to Hunter's Hope to start the foundation. I guess there are millions of reasons to love these men on and off the field. Sorry I just love the human interest side of the players. Tasker was happy to know that his meatloaf recipe lives on for others in the new Booster Club Cookbook (from a recent newspaper article he was not at the meeting) There will be the first meeting of the Bills Collectible Club at the stadium this Saturday. The Paul McGuire Suite 10 - noon. All welcome. Bring some of your stuff to show and trade or buy and sell. There is no formal format yet. I'm not sure I'm going yet because of Mary and that is my ONLY free day this week.
  24. just a reminder to the members.
  25. I rode in the back of a state trooper car
