I feel bad that she was set back for the two days and the recovery is now longer but the quick thought of sue, sue, sue is why the medical suits have all costs going through the roof. My sister almost died from a surgeon knicking her internally and sending bile into places it should not be. She was so sick and in such pain but she is fine now. I know a woman who sues for everything. She fell in a store and sprained her ankle. Sued. Shopping cart hit her car - sued. It's her get money anyway because she has no real job. By the way she has a very undesireable life too. It seems that everything goes wrong for her and her family My advice is wait a while until all is well, then decide. The pain is too fresh right now.

Darn it. I'm off for the day but have a bad sinus infection so I'm going to bed tonight and trying to stay there most of the weekend so I can go to the game.

Well he would have to be the mayor of Orchard Park. He doesn't live in Buffalo. The business that failed was a bunch on investors and Jim of course is the only one that people actually KNOW so he gets all the blame. I wish that would go away.

Sorry - This weekend the KC game is taken. I'm not going to the fashion show. My plans and hotel are already booked for that night. The more I thought about it the more I need to stick with my plans. I will not get to witnes the players strutting their stuff on the catwalk.
-
Are your people from Fabio's ? TKO's were from his charity for the event. I really can't go.
-
I just might be going to the fashion show. If I do I'll try to take notes and pictures. I'm so tossed. I want to go but have other plans that I would have to cancel.

There will be baskets up for bid from some of the players home states. the Hawaii basket will include hula lessons from Sape's wife. I hope to attend but have several plans that week that didn't include this at $100 a person. It was lots of fun and Tasker said that since Sunday all he has heard about was the Tedy love fest on ESPN. Hardy anyone was talking abou the game but how ESPN was snakebit twice by having reports going on while the game had important plays happening. He answered question from the audience about the transition from player to retired and back in the work force for NFL players. His was quite easy because he is still involved with the game that he loves. That he plans on living in East Aurora for the rest of his life and becoming a grandfather here.(in 10 years his oldest kids are in High school Kelso also took questions and mostly talked about success and being a TEAM. He is in the educational field. The taught for 7 yrs and now is in admin. Sappe told of of his life -traditions and love of the Buffalo area. His wife was there and spoke of the fundraising events that the wives of the Bills are having. There is an up coming fashion show where the models are the Bills Players and wives. That should be fun. I hope it is something that I might be able to go to but it is on a Monday night in November. TKO's charity is sponsering the event for his chairty and Children's hospital. The display of Bills stuff and the rocketship 7 items was a great reminder of the best place to live. Western NY. I never want to move away from here.
-
well it's there because of the Bills display and L. Sappe is the current playerguesy speaker. Hope the crowd isn't too hard on him.
-
Will be held at the East Aurora Toy Museum Guest Speakers are to be Steve Tasker and Mark Kelso. I can't wait until tomorrrow night.

Thanks for those memories. I use to sell crafts at that show years ago. I can remember a bad year of rain and you had to hand carry all your boxes out of the field where we were set up. I can tell you I had mud on my pants in places that should NEVER get muddy And I never left my feet. Almost lost a sneaker but never fell.

There are several different places to enter. Coming from the south if not in a hurry the slow pace of 15-20 mph is so worth the beauty there all the way to the last stop by the pool. Whatever place you go in if you have time don't just visit the highland overview. Too bad so many of the trees have lost there leaves.

I had my first bad parking lot experience. I went down a row by the fieldhouse and there wasn't any open spots nor an opening to go through to the next row. There were also 3 cars following me so we started to all back up. Well if you have ever tried to back up where people are tailgating you know that that is a SIN. Mind you this was at 12:30 for the 4:15 srtart. I had my windowa down and was apologizing all the way back because the people behind me were poor backer upper's when all of a sudden the parking lot attendant told me to stop. Why are you backing up? No places I said OH yes there are follow me. He proceeded to make these tailgate people MOVE their table and chairs out of a space and told me right here. I told the tailgaters that I was sorry and wanted to park elsewhere but had to park there. They were pissed - I thought nothing of it and went to the field house then came back to my van to get some stuuff to carry to the pole 5 spot. When I came back to get my game stuff out of the back of the van They of course had to move out of the way. I didn't say anything to them about leaning on the van but did say " I hope you guys move those bottles out from under my tires. I guess they thought I wouldn't look and just drive off and break them. I left the game a little early to beat the night traffic. Most of the bottles were gone. I took the one under my tire and kicked it under His truck. They had this heavy metal plate set up that they cooked on 3 ft behind my van. It had handles on it so I went to move it behind their truck. Well I couldn't move it or get it to fold down. Besides that it was full of red hot charcoal brickettes. I asked some men coming out of the game to watch so I wouldn't run over the fire and they were ver nice about it. This was a tight squeeze to begin with and it was ont of those back and forth turn your wheel s thing that took 10 yes 10 back and forths before I could get out, I thanked the guys and went home. I wanted to toss eggs at the trucks I had to park next to but didn't have any. I wanted towrite a nasty note but after all I left to beat the traffic and so I just hit the road. I'm not a drinker but if I was loaded with beer I might have blown my cool like so many others at the game do. I've seen people puke in the back of trucks and on cars, punch a dent in a car - BUT really. Don't you think if you set a fire you should put it out before going into the game? I wonder if that is how a car caught fire a few years ago.

We saw the sign for the Miami game and laughed. Very nice until the security guards hopped the fence and ripped it.

I will donate $500 to Hunter's Hope

Gee whiz - football is a competition and he just wanted to add a little of it to a donation. Charity is just that and for that reason he should not have been flamed like that. There are many corporations who give x amt of $ for each sack, field goal etc. What's the difference? He didn't ask you to give $500. Sometimes you amaze me with how you can take a positive and make a negative. -
I have it on vhs

the most enjoyable thing is the excitement of the team. London was leading the shout song in front of our section he was so funny. the players are high fiving the fans after scores they are motioning us for niose(like the really have to) Jp is one of the first players greeting the player who made a big play or scored as they come off the field They great feeling of welcome fot TKO on the golf cart for the coin toss the 300 plus fast paced band at half time + Ali Tigh(from my area) singing the national Athem

I would love to - you keep track of the people willing to donate and even if it is $1 - $5 or more that is great. I'll even get involved by buying a bear for all bets over $100 or an awareness bracelet for those over $5 -
Some runningback tend to leap and jump - Martin just runs through things. Come on guys

Thurman is so cute. I love his smile. The pix with Thurman and my sister came out and so did Harriet with the Thurmanator. That was the best Bills experience so far this year. Oh and the get (H) card/poem, chocolate covered carmel apples and brownies went over well. The V surgery went as expected I wish the NYC crew came to a differnet game because I couldn't spent too much time there at the pole. The Oct meeting is being moved to Nov 1st at the Toy Town Museum. We are hoping for two really great former players who live in the area. They have to get back to us but Glenn probably wishes he could be there with Kazoo too and those hints should give you both players. SHHHHHHHHHH We don't tell ahead of time because if they are a NO SHOW people get too disappointed. be still my heart

Yes, when he finds a good BOTD and the board agrees with him. -
I think this is now the more intelligent board
#89 replied to #89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, but he isn't in playing shape and prefers to coach now. snip, snip I'm going to toss him a bag of frozen peas, a poem and some brownies Sunday.
