Absolutely a business, but I question, particularly in a small market like Buffalo, whether or not you actually need to win to make money. From 2088 to 2016 the Bills average attendance was 67,100 (rounded). In 2021 the average attendance was 67,816. TV money is not directly effected by wins and losses, merchandize sales are absolutely up but I don't know what split of that goes to the Bills v. the rest of the teams (maybe all stays with the Bills organization). My point is that in a small market like Buffalo, with out much else competing for the sports dollars fans spend on games, we fans are probably gonna go to games regardless. But you're absolutely right on merch sales. We all tend to buy more when the team wins.

If you're touted as the league MVP, then yes, expectations are very very high. He's a great quarterback, but he can't be responsible for 3 turnovers against the Bengals and expect to win.

Like the confidence, but Allen's been bumbling for probably the last four or five weeks. It just seems like the Bills get sloppy with big leads or against bad teams. I hope to heck you're right.

When the live game gets to the opening kick off, I pause the TV until the radio catches up (seems to be about 40 seconds to a minute behind). Then I "micro adjust" the TV to stay in synch with the radio. Its not perfect, but pretty darn close.

Couldn't agree more - I find him almost unlistenable. More normal game day process is to listen to the game on GR and synch it to the game on TV with the sound off (assuming the game is on here in VA). I'm seriously thinking about not doing that for the game Sunday and just going with the TV. But then my OCD kicks in and says I have to do what ever I've done the rest of the games (they've won). This strikes me as a classic game that the Bills can blow through over confidence and looking ahead to Cincinnati the following week. Sure hope not.

Well, turned out the snow did help the Bills! I had no idea my complaining about no snow would actually bring the snow and the win.....😂 If only.....

I just got back from the Jets game - stayed near the airport and it was something like $120/night for a Hampton Inn. You might consider booking hotels now even though there is no idea of when a game might occur - book one for each of the first two playoff weekends and cancel the one you don't use - otherwise you may end up way outside of town. We drove to the game so not sure what to advise there. If you want a real Buffalo food experience then make sure you have a Ted's hot dog, a beef on weck and wings (I'm partial to Duff's but would imagine there are many many good places to get wings). Have fun and remember to layer up!

Of course teams can throw in the rain. White had a huge game a couple weeks ago in the rain. The "Ugggg" was more about sitting in the rain. If the winds are 10-15mph as now predicted (at least on the weather.com app, with rain, then yes, I think passing can be challenging and controlling the ball with a strong running game could benefit the team. I think the Bills win regardless of the weather.

Now it looks like 75% chance of rain for the game....ugggg......hopefully the running game can get going for the Bills.

Right on! I remember my mom used to make us put our feet in bread bags before we put on our boots when we would go out to play.

My reaction, when my son texted me the news about the Bills being in 1st place in the AFC was "oh crap"....just a pure case of Bills PTSD....Hopefully the team keeps their heads down and eyes on the prize. Go Bills!
