  1. Doesn't surprise me. Most people who live here came from somewhere else because they wanted to live here, not because they where born here or for a job. Wonder what's wrong with West Virginia?
  2. Good lord no. I just wondered if the Sabers would have two new all stars next year.
  3. So when can he go to the big club?
  4. Crayonz is playing with you STP. Yes that's his real name.
  5. Didn't the Sabers finish last last year? Why am I not hearing about their new 60 goal scorer?
  6. Well I'm sure there were some city "sports" that plinked at them off trains, no doubt. Wounding far more than they killed I imagine. But the pros, the ones that shot thousands of Buffalo in their careers where some of the finest shots this nation has produced. They would sneak up to a herd unnoticed, lay there heavy barreled rifles on a rest and shoot the leader[it was always a cow] though the lungs. As it lay there slowly bleeding out, the rest of the herd would mill about unsure what to do. The hunter would then pick them off one by one.
  7. I quit reading when he said he was on the cover of rolling stone.
  8. Most likely learned and handed down generation to generation like salmon. Same situation exists at the Dunkirk power plant. looks very surreal there in winter with the ice fog rising off the warm water and hundreds of waterfowl flying in and out of the fog.
  9. Not really used on the Buffalo hunts. the far more powerful single shots were the tool of choice. the comparatively weak repeaters where used by some civilians to repel hostile native attacks but the US army did not issue a repeater till 1892.
  10. There's a little cheek that runs though ANC that stays open year round because they cool the power plant with it. Full of ducks year round. I often wonder what they would do if the plant shut down and the creek froze. It's a LONG flight to open water.
  11. Yes he helped. But if you really want to blame someone go after the UP and CP railroads. And the millions of settlers they brought to the plains.
  12. Tracks? In 8 feet of snow? must be packed. Oh wait I forgot that Nov snow melted. Still that makes snow with ice crust. Dogs can run on it, deer can't.
  13. Wonder if all the WNY deer are dead. 8 foot would kill a moose.
  14. Is Eichel declared or will it matter?
  15. Wonder if Carolina would have got Luck the next year if they drafted him the year he decided to stay in school?
  16. It's getting tougher to be a nail chewing steer wrasslng cowboy.
  17. He/it [i suspect gator may be a computer generated response] has been worthless since he seamlessly took over the class clown position from Conner. Question is why do posters on here respond to him seriously?
  18. The writers are just getting lazy and/or showing a lack of imagination when they use a miracle to get the characters out of a hopeless jam. Water situation desperate? Provide a perfectly timed cloud burst. Out numbered by zombies? Drop a few trees on them. It's a lame writing device.
  19. Ask him about the weather in July.
  20. Sleepy hollow is excellent and keeps getting better.
  21. Windstorm up roots huge trees drops them directly on zombies. 100 year old barn untouched. Sure. No less than 3 weepy moany characters. No water in a vast green forest. Other then that it was OK.
  22. Remove the horns and it looks like a space alien.
  23. Not much to give up. I thought it was very weak till the last 5 minutes.
  24. Not sure we already can't do many of those things. A auto pilot can take off from Paris and land at Kennedy with no human guidance. But what of a unplanned event like loss of a hydraulic system? Will any computer ever be able to disregard it's program and "fly by the seat of it's pants" as a human would? I think that kind of performance is a long way off. Never mind a terminator type takeover.
  25. I remember hearing rumors of them In lake Erie and the Niagara river but never saw one. Strictly protected as I recall.
