Right on what is now the state beach at Carlsbad. I could walk to the beach and I was just a tyke. Don't remember cold WX and I don't think there was any as our avocado trees where full of escaped parakeets year round. And my days where spent swimming in the lagoon catching octopus and starfish.

Considering the price of ammo nowadays, they must be loaded to just fire into the air.

Must be new weather patterns then when I Lived there in the 60's. All we had had was a small space heater, and the only time it was used was when my brother came back from surfing in the winter at 8 AM.

That's maybe harder then it sounds. Hardest thing for me learning to fly was seeing the "spot"- the place the plane is going to land at you're .current rate of descent. Runway looks too low? Add power. Too high? Reduce power. Once you get it it's super easy, but "getting" it can take a lot of landings..

Chicago is the last place I would live. Horribly crowded and developed, solid city all the way to Milwaukee. In Buffalo a 20 min drive has you in the country.

After taking Rothstein for 200 G;s [on a queen high flush!] Nucy mocks him and says "Do you know me now?" Then Lansky beats a man to death that mocked Rothstein at the table. I can't wait to see how Lansky goes. He put $500,000 on the table with Nucy on the Florida land deal but still seems to think he is aligned with Rothstein In a way. Very cool show why better than breaking because it really happened.
