  1. Good work. I have seen many Alaska natives destroyed by alcoholism and I can feel for them. They where born drunk, into a drunken family. What chance did they have?
  2. This is as weak as it gets. He tells a car full of teenagers to turn the music down, which they do, then he tells them to turn it down again and claims he saw a gun and starts shooting? This is the kind of stuff Brady lives for. I am as pro gun as anyone but this guys a nut.
  3. How do you think exposure to alcohol, Heroin, etc in the womb may predispose infants to a latter life of addiction to these substances?
  4. Do you believe these same findings may apply to alcoholism?
  5. t It was my furnace that burnt up. EiI used the internet to fix all the permitting problems My contractor couldn't. The key is that EiI knows the government will always do right.
  6. Now give him some credit. He walked me through the city permitting process for my new furnace on the internet when even my contractor was stumped.
  7. If they can throw in Alice in chains I can throw in other dead people.
  8. Weak. Musicians from Seattle and they miss this guy. I admit he's a little obscure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvmKlZGTTU4
  9. High road? Meh? Can you throw a few more pop catch phrases in there? TG threw a hard ball question at the golden boy. Are you concerned EJ is crying himself to sleep tonight?
  10. Unfortunately I can see and hear it fine. What a dork.
  11. Hang on I just caught this. Skynard? Best you can do is some one whose been dead for 30+ years? Really?
  12. OK now you're being smart ass
  13. Swing a cool grand? It was your money in the first place. They borrowed it from you for a year interest free.
  14. Some how that little girl voice doesn't fit the song.
  15. Yeah 11 was when I came back for a visit so I don't now when it was. You KNOW it's never going to go down all ways up.
  16. No it's state and Federal land. No fee. If you're seeing buildings though it may be a old mining claim or homestead surrounded by gov land. That would be private. Also the state sells some land in remote areas.
  17. No I hunt on state or Federal land for free. That's part of the reason private land is so expensive. Much of the land is government land.
  18. 1. Alaska. Nuf said but I will anyway. Millions and millions of unfenced acres to roam as I please, motorized or on foot. World class fishing both fresh and salt water. Hunting that outsiders pay $13,000 for I do with a $40 resident license. You could spent 10 lifetimes exploring Alaska and not see half of it. That's why I got a pilots license. 2. The woman myth is a carry over from the gold rush and pipeline days when thousands of men came here to make there fortune. They all left. I believe the current ratio is 102 men to 100 women. 3. I would skip Anchorage. It's just a city. Best thing to say about is it's 30 minutes from Alaska. Do like my aunt and uncle did they flew to Fairbanks, took the train down to Seward and then the cruse boat to lower 48. Saw the interior and the coast. They loved it. Course the day they spent in Anchorage with there beloved nephew helped. 4. Well MY first thought about Anchorage is that compared to WNY it's very expensive. Sure never found the cheap land I thought I would. But it's fun. Seems like every one hunt's, rides 4 wheelers, shoots, etc. And on the political side how do you beat no tax's and almost no gun laws? You see a problem with that?
  19. Was a mechanic now live mostly off my rental income. Didn't know a soul here or have any job prospects in 1995 when I moved up. I just packed my tools in the truck and drove to Anchorage. Got a job first place I applied been here ever since. Actually the majority of people here are from some where else. Name the state, I know someone from there. Very different from where I lived in NY, every one I knew was 3rd generation. I am not in Fairbanks sir. And that is not a accident.
  20. Sunny, 46 degrees in beautiful Anchorage . No wind. Boy I wish I lived in one of those nice warm southern states.
  21. And driving a car I paid a sales tax on.
  22. Seems like I remember 11% when I lived in Erie county. What really got me was I would take my already NYS taxed as wages money into a store to buy cigarettes, which where marked up 80% for taxes and pay a sales tax on them. So I was paying a tax on a tax with my already taxed money.
