  8. I can make a gun in my basement. Enriched uranium is a little harder to cook up. Also are not the drugs these poor Mexican cartels are killing each other over universally illegal? Do you really think someone capable of importing thousands of kilos of cocaine is going to give up guns because of a US law?
  9. They've already done that. Now making roster cuts in 2011
  10. Right. Worked great in North Korea. Anyone who even mentions nuclear weapons[or tanks,or any of the other absolutely ridiculous comparisons] in a gun discussion instantly loses any creditably with me. Who is going to enforce this would wide gun ban? The UN?

  15. How do you hope for something yesterday, and prefer it not happen today? What a compassionate, enlightened, silly putty liberal. Do you have any real beliefs at all?
  16. Beautiful tribute. Thanks for sharing.
  17. So you would have no problem with the 60-70 million gun owners in this country shooting each other? in fact hope for it? What a strange twisted world you live in.
  18. Thank you for your sympathy's. On near death experiences,I to have been puzzled by why some and not others recall it.The only thing for sure is some day we will all know the answer.
  19. Thank you. I don't post much here, but this one hit home.
  20. You are a obsessed nut in the Mark Chapman mold.
  21. I have that software and discovered to my surprise that if I run Joe Bidens remarks though it,some make sense. Very powerfull stuff.
  22. I had a very simler experience when my mother passed away 6 years ago. Me and my bother were sitting next to her bed in the hospital when she looked right at us and clearly said" I don't suppose you talk much to your father" [her husband of 54 years, gone 3 at that time] then kind of looked away and shook her head as if thinking of course THEY can't. Then the next day,she said when did mom get here? obviously referring to her mother[gone 30 years]which struck me because she never referred to her as "mom" to me and my bother, only "Gramma". Mom was for when she was talking to her bothers and sister. Seeing our startled looks, she replied very sharply"do you think when people die they just go away? of course they are still around" My bother, being the analytical chemistry professor he is, dismissed it as a result of the pain meds. I was not so sure. Hearing that it is a apparently common experience makes me even less so.
  23. I right away noticed 90% of the posts here occur during "working hours" 8-5,and drop off on the weekend. I think clock watching would be more likely the activity of choice rather then curing Cancer if the forum went away.
