  1. Modern drunkard magazine? I am not going to ask how you found that.
  2. I wish they would let them break the sound barrier at those shows-I want sonic booms.
  3. which is what a real police interceptor would have had. But of course this one was signed on the door by Don Knotts
  4. I don't think Bill France was ever a bootlegger, but no question many of the early drivers were.
  5. Cheap date. 0.11 is what 3 beers? Bang the clothes come off.
  6. Their all south to me. Just saw that episode-never noticed that was gramma Walton.
  7. Are you kidding? It was south Carolina. Ever hear of moonshiners?
  8. I lived in a apartment once that had a toilet with no overflow drain in the tank-so if the inlet valve stuck[which it would do about 1 time in 10] it would fill the tank till it started overflowing. It was not a good idea to leave after flushing till you confirmed the valve had shut off.
  9. Most of the crowd dropped out at $30,000 then two bidders went to war with each other. I guess thats the way to sell stuff like that even with the auction house commission.
  10. What surprised me was it was not even a real police interceptor-just a stock galaxie painted like a cop car.
  11. The illusion of any meaning was over after Carter and sealed by Gore.
  12. Friend of mine in Lackawanna bought a 70 cuda 440 6 pack 4 speed in 1974 from the original owner for $2000. Drove it that summer and joined the army.14000 miles, original paint, not a scratch. Sat in his parents garage 1974-1992. Sold it in 92 for $7000 to pay some bills. Never told me he was selling it. When I asked why he never gave me a shot at it he said"I didn't want to sell it to someone I know because then would see the car around"
  13. Nothing special a basic 63 galaxie 4 door 289 painted to look like Andy of Mayberrys cop car. I am in the wrong business.
  14. 50k is not unreasonable for a tie rod end to pick up some slop from normal wear and tear. The rims I dunno. The inside?
  15. If it hasn't happened yet it probably won't. They were going at 10-20 thousand miles.
  16. That year had a issue with bad transfer cases. Clicking noise on slow parking lot turns.
  17. That's all I said. You took it from there.
  18. They where able to specify the type of rifle but not which boat the fire came from? I don't know. I have poor reading skills.
  19. So you're sayig they chased the one that was NOT firing on them?
  20. Not only German women, believe me
  21. Well Eva Braun was kinda hot.
  22. I missed that part
  23. Well if it makes you feel better I remember virtually none of it-never did have much practical use. My sister in law learned to speak fluent French just to appear "sophisticated" so I guess it was not a complete waste
  24. It was inorganic chemistry. Really, not to restart WW I here, but I don't recall French even being offered.
  25. 1970s cream puff, but thats what they wanted. I think you had to go to a liberal arts school to learn French.
